Juliette Binoche talks meeting Robert Pattinson for Cosmopolis

Juliette Binoche (Didi) plays Robert Pattinson's (Eric Packer) mistress in Cosmopolis. She recently spoke with La Provence (France) about meeting Rob.

Her translated mention:

For David Cronenberg’s new movie ?
J.B: Yes, it is called “Cosmopolis”. I play an art dealer who has an affair with Robert Pattinson. He, plays a billionaire who loses everything.

Robert Pattinson evolves in a sphere that seems far away from yours…
J.B: I don’t have a point of view about his career, I didn’t see the “Twilight” movies. We had dinner together on set. He is an incredible cinema buff who for several years saw two to three movies a day. He is a fan of “Les amants du Pont Neuf” (The Pont Neuf lovers). He was funny, you would have thought he was a little child.

I love love love when top-notch actors are impressed with Rob and how people always comment on his knowledge of film. I feel proud like, "Yep. He's awesome. Duh!"

Reese Witherspoon Is Amazed At Robert Pattinson's Military Tactics

Well there's lots of other things amazing things about Robert Pattinson too Reese ;-)

Newly married Reese Witherspoon says she could learn a thing or two about fame from Water for Elephants co-star Robert Pattinson.

Did she try to give him advice? "Me?!" she gasped to USA TODAY's Andrea Mandell via phone. "If anything I'd probably be asking his advice. He has, like, military tactics to avoid paparazzi. It's pretty incredible the operations that go on."

In the film (a tan!) R-Patz takes a break from hunky vampire Edward Cullen to join the Water for Elephants' 1930s-set circus. And while Reese says her kids are still too young for Twilight, the age range of fans camping out by the Water for Elephants set was unbelievable. "I've worked with a lot of people but I've never seen the amount of attention or paparazzi or just fans camped out on the edge of the set ever in my whole life," she says. "There'd be little, little girls camped out, 7-year-olds with their parents at 4 o'clock in the morning. Five o'clock in the morning we'd pull off of set - I was bleary eyed and there'd be 10 women waiting on the roof of their cars just trying to see him."

Chris Weitz Handles "Robsten Conspiracy" Question Like a PRO

After reading his answer to this question I think he should consider running for the office :) THAT is one political answer! Kudos Chris!

From Box Office:

One of my favorite New Moon conspiracy theories is that the producers are ordering Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson to keep their love hidden because it will affect the way people will perceive the story, even though the story is already known even until the next two books.

The fans know what the Volturi look like or what Taylor Lautner as Jacob's amazing bod is going to look like—the producers know these things are big points of curiosity about whether we've been able to be faithful to people's notions. And they want to parse these things out over time. [Laughs] It is a conspiracy, but the conspiracy is called marketing.

American Pie—like Twilight—was one of those films that made stars of everyone in the cast. This time around, do you find yourself wanting to give this new generation career or life advice?

I don't particularly feel qualified because I'm not in their situation. I don't have to deal with that fame; I'm able to turn it on or off—or rather, the publicity department is able to turn it on and off. I don’t walk around and get recognized. I'm recognized in inverse proportion to my nearness to Rob. There's some kind of equation I could work out. Basically if I'm within 50 yards of Rob, I matter. If not, I just don't. I think that they don't really need my advice because they are determined to remain true to their own life, in spite of anything that might turn their heads. That's the only advice I could give them: that they stay the clever and decent people who they already are. And I don't think they're manifesting any problems in that regard.

You can read the rest of the interview over at Box Office. It's a good interview...
