This is so funny, I was in my newsagents only an hour ago (grabbing the last copy of today's UK Times with the brilliant Rob interview in it) and was checking out the current issue of Little White Lies and thinking how I wished they'd do one for Life and next thing this pops up on Twitter!

Jeremy Saunders the graphic designer behind The Rover Movie Posters treated us to some new pics of Robert Pattinson as Rey in some outtakes of the posters on his site.

He also explains the creative process involved and how the final design (1st poster below) was reached.

The best part is when Jeremy realises this: "While it's always tempting (to me) to go as far away from actors' heads as possible, you aren't really allowed to have Rob Pattinson in a movie and not have his face on the poster. It's actually illegal in most countries :)"

"Just a little background….that pic of Rob I gave you, I took the original at the end of a day’s shooting in the Desert near Leigh Creek…and he was well and truly “over it”, as were we all. We did get into the vodka that night…we needed it!

The digital artwork takes me about a day to do what I wish, or want to see in the piece, then about a day rendering. I like doing portraits of people I work with, and people I love."

Charity Auction for Robert Pattinson's Artwork

Because acting, singing and playing musical instruments wasn't enough - we can now add artist to Robert Pattinson's resume.

PACT is a British charity who have asked hundreds of celebrities to unleash their creativity on an image of a balloon - the symbol for International Missing Children's Day (May 25th). Rob was one of those celebs and his art work will be auctioned for the charity. It doesn't look like the auction has begun, but we'll update when it has.
