Our focus right now is the first date Bel Ami debuts and that's May 4th. Here is a screencap from the Magnolia page showing you how to view the film from different cable providers. My cable is through AT&T UVerse so I only get the film 'on demand' the same day as theatrical release. Obviously I'll be downloading from iTunes on May 3rd at 9pm PST since it'll go live at midnight on the east coast. ;)

It was announced in 2009 that Rob would be playing Georges Duroy. Waiting for this film to hit the screen has been the longest torture I've experienced in my ROBsession.

Now I don't have just one date to look forward to. I have 3!

To celebrate the end of a loooooooooooooooong wait, we're going to turn Torture Tuesday over to DuRob - a master of tantalizing torture. I decided for the first DuRob themed TT, we should take a trip back to Spring 2010 Budapest...

This next video was when Rob did the "moonwalk" during filming. Or was it a lazy running man? ;) He was likely just walking backwards but what fun is that? Look for Rob bustin' a move around 3:40



After you get past the odd :30 in the beginning of this next vid, you pretty much fall in love with watching ActorRob prep his scenes and get into character. It's a bit of a bonus the video maker chose Rob's soulful voice as the musical accompaniment.



This final vid is TOO cute. After filming his scenes for the evening, he spoke Hungarian to the fans waiting for him. He thanked them from being quiet during filming, smiled, waved and slayed dozens of Hungarian women.

I'm going to tell you a story. There once was a boy named Robert.


*said dramatically as if reading it to a three year old*

Robert became a man and was gifted control over millions of females in dark recesses. To keep his frenzied, female, fanbase (FFF) satiated, Robert made movies they could worship. One day, Robert finished promoting a movie and disappeared. The FFF was prepared for this because Robert would often hide from the madness. However, Robert popped up one day with peach fuzzed hair. The FFF lost their minds. They bellowed, "What is Robert up tooooo? Why the buzz cut??? New project, Raaaahhhhbbb???" Robert granted the FFF one final appearance before returning to his private den of sin for months. The FFF just knew Robert would tell them then what the future had in store. Hope was in the air in Berlin when a kind man asked Robert about his next career move. But Robert, skilled in deflection, killed hope and danced his way out of the inquiry. Robert told all the land, "GNOH. It is not time for you to know." The FFF were sent back to limbo where they await word from their king.

The moral of this story....Robert was born to torture you.

Since it's Valentine's Day, I'm going to keep the torture light. We get to see Rob this Friday (EEEEEE!) and I can not wait for his press conference. He'll not only be talking Bel Ami in depth but hopefully discussing a couple other things that are hotly discussed - what's his next project and *sings to the tune of Where Did Our Love Go* baby, baby, baby, where did the hair gooooo?

It dawned on me that we didn't check and see what the dark recesses think! For shame! So tell us...where do YOU think the hair went?



Our guy will be here before we know it and you know he's gonna be asked the question, "baby baby baby where did the hair go?" We'll see if the winning guess matches. ;)

Now, now...don't be like that. We'll go easy on you for the first Tuesday back. Rob popped up last night and caused a flurry! When I first drafted this post, I had a good idea where the votes might go. Now? No clue! Rob keeps us on our toes. ;)

We can't wait to see various footage from the three, yes THREE, Rob films out in 2012.
The most OnscreenRob we've ever had in one year!



There's also the likelihood of a new photoshoot without alligators.
Finally, Rob!



And let's not forget that we'll know what Rob has in the works career-wise.
He managed to keep it quiet through an extensive promotional period.
Why so cryptic, Rob?

I'm sooooooo excited Torture Tuesday is back. Call me sadistic. Call me a glutton for pain. I like seeing the dark recesses squirm.

The inspiration behind this weeks torture was actually PromoRob. It's always Rob that inspires (duh) but seeing so many new pics of him during Breaking Dawn promotion had me drooling over his features. What am I talking about? I'm always drooling over him. I'm just making excuses for wanting to make you crazy...er.

Starting from the neck up, if you have to tell someone what Rob's BEST feature is, what would it be? WHAT WOULD IT BE?????
