Entertainment Tonight Press Release

Well Entertainment Tonight is almost 24 hours away, the segments will be running all through the weekend and we'll have the videos up as soon as we can :).

This is the latest press release from ET. It's an interesting read. You go from "cool!" to "aww!" to "that's sad". Me not happy...

Here it is:

Robert Pattinson says it feels “surprisingly natural” to be back in character as “Edward Cullen.” “I’m not stressed at all on this job, so it’s kind of a nice feeling. Since the film was a success so you get a little more free reign and people are more trusting.”

He goes on to assure fans that they will get plenty of Edward Cullen in the film, even though his character in the book is largely absent from the story. “It’s as close as possible to the book,” he says. “(In the film) it’s an illusion when he appears. I think if you do it with voiceover as they do in the book, it would end up being quite cheesy. But it’s very subtle, my presence. It’s actually quite scary because Bella is kind of going a little bit nuts. I was worried about having too much presence because you really need that relationship with Jacob to drive to the third and fourth books. You really need that triangle.”

On how life has changed for the cast since the success of Twilight, Rob says, “Now it’s funny, you can’t even get through to people on the phone. They won’t even let you ring people up. I can’t even ring down to reception and say let them (visitors) up. I have to literally go down and carry them.”

Rob admits that his sudden fame has had an effect on his friendships and personal relationships, “I’m always really worried about ruining their lives. Especially with people that aren’t famous. It’s such a massive change. I’m kind of a paranoid wreck. I’ve eaten a lot of room service.”

Kristen Stewart, “Bella Swan,” tells ET that Rob will have a chance to play a more frightening Edward in this film, “The dream sequences are really eerie. Edward gets a chance to be a little bit more scary and not so perfect.”

When asked if she is an Edward girl or a Jacob girl, Kristen exclaims, “I’m seriously not even allowed to answer that question!”

When asked if Rob had a sister, who would he rather have her date, Edward Cullen or Jacob Black, he laughs and jokes, “Edward’s wealthier!"

Alisa Arnah is NOT Stupid (probably)

On the 16th I made a post about How To Be Director Oliver Irving's Interview with Radar Online and the title was "Drunk Filming of How To Be and One Stupid Girl". In the interview Oliver said:

"Irving fondly recalls how the actress Alisah Amah was less than enthusiastic about her hunky co-star. “At the time they actually didn’t get on very well. I don’t know, Rob must have done something, I don’t know, funny, but I remember she was not happy,” he said. “I think that came through in the film actually, we had wanted to it be warmer but she was very unhappy, she really got wound up by him. It must be very funny for her now.”

Well, apparently Alisa Arnah (Radar Online screwed up and called her Alisah Amah so its "ooops!" all around!) left a message on our affiliate Robert Pattinson Australia's page saying:

Hi guys, Alisa Arnah here. Someone told me about this article and I just wanted to set the record straight… it is absolutely not true that I didn’t like Rob! He was a lot of fun and made me laugh. Not my cup of tea romantically speaking I admit, but a great guy. Not sure where the misunderstanding came from - but now you have the truth. Thanks, Alisa.

In the land of ROBsessed it is scientifically IMPOSSIBLE for anybody to NOT like Rob. We all bow down in front of his gorgeousness and are SURE he has no imperfections, no annoying personality traits and no kind of B.O. We are pretty sure when he toots it smells like roses and when he walks angels sing at his feet.(okay getting carried away here, I am not sure if he toots. It's too human! :)

I apologize for calling you stupid as I now know that you probably aren't. (I had to add the probably for the not your cup of tea comment, I'm sure you understand :))

By the way how come no one famous leaves us a message? Peh!

Make your DVD Player Region Free

There is the option of buying a DVD player that you can change the code on....the one I bought was about $70 or $80 at Best Buy and the guys at the store told which one to buy. There is the option to buy one off of Amazon for about $50 + shipping and I think there are ones that you have to change the code on and others you don't.

There is also the option to download a free software on your computer called VLC. You would d/l it and set it as your default media player. http://www.videolan.org/ It *should* work and it should allow you to watch movies as often as you want. I would recommend people d/l it first and try a dvd they already have to make sure it plays (some computers may have codec or driver issues...you never know) If putting the DVD in and it doesnt start up right away...try opening VLC first and then the opening DVD....
I have never had an issue with it (watched BMH on it)

The Weekend That Keeps Giving-Updated

The cast stayed to themselves, but jacksper, being the southern gentleman he is came up and talked to my friends as well as a group of women from Tennessee (wouldn’t be surprised if they were twi moms), and promised us he would come out and take pictures after the show After their little smoke break kstew taylor and I think nikki leave in a cab, while the rest stayed. Rpattz came out here and there for a smoke break and I asked for a second picture, because the first one was a fail on his behalf(Gozde: yeah it was a fail so I'm not posting :) His eyes were closed). He then said, “hey! I took a picture with you two already!” and I proceeded to say, “yeah! But you blinked” and he was like “oh, alright” then we take a much better second picture.

LOL OF THE NIGHT: one of the daughters of the ladies from Tennessee asked rob if he can hold her like he held bella in the movie poster.. in which he responded with a “FUCK NO”. my friends and I were dying.. kudos rpattz.. kudos

Stephenie Choked Up By Cast's Performance on New Moon

From the mouth of the Holy Stephenie Meyer (I love her, so sue me!):

I am not being sued. No one has contacted me or my publisher to inform either of us that I'm being sued. I never had a roommate named Heidi. There is no professor in the BYU English department named Dr. Peter Benton (though there is a character on ER by that name). And most of all, I began writing Twilight exactly the way I've told people in countless interviews and events for the past six years: I had a cool dream, I wrote it down, writing it down was really fun, so I kept writing until I had a whole book.

The sad thing about this silly situation is that so many legitimate news outlets reported it without doing any research at all to determine if there was any truth to the story. And at least two of these facts are really, really easy to confirm. Particularly, the one about the BYU professor. A simple on-line search can give you that information. Also, a quick call to my publisher would have cleared up the whole lawsuit story. (Kudos to the fansites who did their due diligence and debunked this rumor days ago.) (Gozde: Oh Steph, you are so sweet, don't mention it!:))

I guess the moral of the story is that—big surprise—you can't believe everything you read on the internet. Seems like it's April Fool's Day every day on-line. So no worries, the filming of New Moon continues uninterrupted. And, to end this on a bright note, the filming of New Moon continues to be awesome. It's all so beautiful! Chris Weitz is brilliant. Kristen, Rob, and Taylor are beyond words. I have gotten choked up more than once on set due to their amazing performances. I can't wait to see it all put together!
