"Robert Pattinson Is The Hardest-Working Person I've Ever Worked With"- Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon spoke to MTV recently and had only great things to say (of course) about Robert Pattinson.

In addition to her successes as an actress and her respectable reputation, Reese Witherspoon is the envy of millions of Twilighters after working alongside superstar heartthrob Robert Pattinson in not one, but two films — not to mention the fact that she's kissed him too.

When MTV News caught up with Witherspoon recently as part of "MTV First: This Means War," we asked her the first thing that comes to mind when she thinks of her "Water for Elephants" and "Vanity Fair" co-star.

"I would say [he is] the hardest-working person I've ever worked with, honestly," she said. "[He's] professional, hard-working, so appreciative, more grateful than I've ever seen anyone for where he is in life."

Given the fact that Witherspoon has been in the business for decades and experienced every facet of being famous, we asked her to weigh in on the current fan frenzy that surrounds Pattinson wherever he goes and how it may or may not affect a person.

"I've never experienced what he has — going to premieres and there's just millions of people waiting for him to touch them," she said. "I think it must be strange, but I don't even know how to process what he deals with and Kristen [Stewart] deals with. I don't know."

The Oscar-winning actress said Pattinson handles his fame very well, despite the sometimes-chaotic circumstances. "[He's]a really cool guy," she said.

Slightly different from what was posted before:

UPDATE: RobpattzNews told me that Columbia on IMDb isn't new. It was just on IMDBpro. Whatever. I don't care about this IMDb/distributor/release date f*ckery. GIVE US BEL AMI!

The source, IMDb, also listed Columbia Pictures now as distributor & has kept the March 2nd US release date. We've talked about Columbia before (a branch owned by Sony) but what should settle some minds in the DR is that Columbia being listed implies theatrical release. I know many were concerned about straight-to-DVD. However, all of this is still in WTF territory since IMDb is the only source and isn't always reliable. If March 2nd is really the US date, why no other information on it or promotion of that date in the states? I call bullsh*t on that date and await more active presence from the studio to believe it. I'm so distrusting. Or bitter. Or both. LOL
Hopefully this recent movement will mean some concrete movement on the horizon.

Blast From The Past: Robert Pattinson talks about actors that inspire, writing music, giving up beer & more

Blast From The Past: Robert Pattinson talks about actors that inspire, writing music, giving up beer & more

I was taking a trip down Rob-memory Lane today with a friend and we revisited Rob during Remember Me promotion. She noted how "extra" English he sounded and it is lovely to hear his voice during our long drought. No doubt the accent seems more pronounced because he was filming Bel Ami at the time.

Enjoy a trip with Rob from almost 2 years ago :)

First up from Moviefone...Highlights:
  • Checks the reporter & fan. RM was not his first love scene. *snap*
  • Actors that inspire him: Joaquin Phoenix, Michael Fassbender, Ryan Gosling
  • Bought a Puerto Rican, ten-string, mandolin-type instrument that he wrote music with. *whines* Why we no can hears it, Raaaaahhhb?? ;)
  • Avoids tabs. One reason, he feels he needs to argue against them
  • Would he do a comedy?
  • What would be torture for him to give up? Beer :) He's showing his roots there.
  • Does Rob think Edward or Bond would win in a fight?
  • He's tortured by his hotness killing the earth. <<--- sarcasm ;)

MySpace interview with Rob & Pierce...Highlights:
  • Pierce praising Rob and your heart clenches
  • One of Rob's favorite scenes in Remember Me
  • How Rob & Pierce prepped for the boardroom scene
  • Says "Coca Colas"...I liked that. I will no longer say "Coke". ;)
  • Pierce brings up Bel Ami and compliments the ladies Rob is/was working with
  • They start talking about the Bond history and I feel like I'm a fly on the wall :) Natural back and forth

Thanks Maria for the trip!

If you guys enjoyed this past blast, I'll take another trip with you tomorrow. :)
