Because She Loves Me

Okay here is the video link again. Watch before Summit snags it! I hate spoilers and watched this one because it's mostly behind the scenes. I can say it's pretty safe.

Enjoy :-)) HERE

Oh and Lisa, thank you so so much! I was so bummed I couldn't watch this :-)

Some magazine before Twilight

You know after reading this, I think most of the things he says in the interviews are whatever he thinks of at that moment. In THIS interview he says he'll go running every morning (yeah, right!, lol) AND he is writing a script. I guess we can add it to his wanting to be a rapper, a political speech writer and so on :) So cute!

Robert in Canada

Apparently Rob and the cast of Twilight will be appearing live on Much Music on Saturday November 15th at 6pm ET! Canadian fans, send us videos :-)

Here is what MuchMusic.com says

We know the release date of Twilight is practically tattooed on your forehead (neck, maybe?), but here's where things get fangasmical: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Rachelle Lefevre are coming to Much HQ to answer yours and Sarah Taylor's questions about the movie! That's right, fake vampires in person, looking gorgeous and smiling for all the screaming fans (screaming in a good way, not because they're fake vampires and they are terrified). In conclusion: you're not gonna want to miss this one.

Rob WILL be in New York on Nov. 4th

From Summit:

ROBERT PATTINSON will be at Planet Hollywood Times Square to promote TWILIGHT with a dual memorabilia and handprint ceremony in the restaurant’s main dining room.
His handprints will later be displayed on the walls of a TBD Planet Hollywood location.
The memorabilia will be displayed in a case at Planet Hollywood Times Square.

Oh and thanks to Rusharthi for trying to send me these :-))

Bloody Edward screen cap

Why did they try to make Rob look so "weird" is beyond me. Edward is supposed to be like Rob, so beautiful, and yet the more pics I see the more I get annoyed with the white paste they put on his face.

Anyhoo, I capped it for you :-) Enjoy...Thanks to the always amazing Amy for the video link :)

Hollywood's HOT New Leading Men

Yahoo OMG! has a bit about Rob:

I caught up with Robert Pattinson and Chris Pine -- two of Hollywood's upcoming stars -- at the afterparty for the Hollywood Film Festival Awards.

Robert, who plays Edward Cullen in the film adaptation of "Twilight," was honored with the New Hollywood Award. Clad in a black suit and matching skinny tie, the pale 22-year-old looked like a real-life vampire. He lurked around the outskirts of the party, but warmed up
during our chat. Robert seemed to be unfazed by all the attention, but admitted he doesn't watch TV. That might be a good thing, considering that his face has been featured on every entertainment show!

Myspace shows Twilight some lovin'

The opening page of myspace has Twilight featured today. Nothing new but quite cool.
Thanks Bella's mom for the info.

LA Times Article-Vampire Pals

Vampire pals hang out in the 'Twilight'

Their vampire characters shun human blood. The young actors are a similarly civilized group, having spent so much quality time together.
By Gina McIntyre
November 2, 2008
Robert Pattinson has all the traits of a Hollywood heartthrob -- photogenic features, a lovely British accent and a starring role as the brooding but devastatingly handsome good guy vampire Edward Cullen in “Twilight,” the big-screen adaptation of the first installment in author Stephenie Meyer's wildly successful young-adult book series due in theaters Nov. 21.

The only thing that doesn't quite fit? Pattinson is one seriously self-deprecating guy.

"I can't watch myself on screen," said the 22-year-old actor, who previously appeared as Cedric Diggory in the "Harry Potter" films. "When my parents say, 'Oh, did you see this photo?' I immediately start going, 'Don't tell me about photos!' I haven't watched anything since the premiere of 'Harry Potter.' And that's because I couldn't find a way out.

"It would have looked a bit bad for me to walk out," he conceded with a laugh.

In the coming months, Pattinson and the rest of the film's ensemble cast are probably going to have to get a lot more comfortable with fame. "Twilight," which details the romance between Edward and 17-year-old Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), has been compared to "Romeo and Juliet," with its themes of forbidden love. But it's also been described as the heir to J.K. Rowling's teen wizard saga -- given its blockbuster literary pedigree and popularity among the under-18 set. For months, interest in the film has been building: There's even a clock counting down the minutes to its premiere at twilighthemovie.com.

It's a strange thing to realize that you're at the heart of a full-blown pop culture phenomenon, but on an unseasonable October afternoon, with the temperature hovering near the 100-degree mark, the pressure didn't seem to be adversely affecting any of the actors. Gathered around a conference table in a Los Angeles office building, Pattinson and costars Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed, who portray two other members of the Cullen clan, were playing it remarkably cool.

"I think it was toward the end of shooting when it really dawned on me," said Reed, who plays the supremely confident Rosalie, love interest to Lutz's Emmett. "There were fans that were finding out where the locations were, and that's when it really hit me. People saying, 'Oh, it's going to be the next "Harry Potter"!' That's a big mountain in front of you. There's a lot of hype around this."

Close, but not blood relations

During the conversation, the trio easily dissolved into laughter, teasing one another and displaying the same generally convivial vibe that took root during the weeks they spent together on set in the remote Pacific Northwest with director Catherine Hardwicke.

"It's weird having such a big cast where everyone's pretty much the same age," Pattinson said. "A lot of the time the locations were really isolated, so we were the only people we could hang out with."

Every modern take on the vampire legend sets up new rules that govern the creatures, and "Twilight" is no exception. The Cullens refuse to feed on humans, hunting animals instead, and they are not harmed by the sun, though their luminous white skin does glitter in direct light. It's their self-imposed dietary restrictions and desire to live among people that ultimately helps Bella accept Edward's true nature, but it also puts the vampires in direct conflict with others of their kind, who are less, well, civilized.

For the movie's action sequences, the actors experimented with stunts and wire work, which Pattinson admits did not play to his strengths. "I got injured on the first shot of the first day," he said. "I wasn't even doing a stunt. I was just trying to pick up Kristen and I almost tore my hamstring because I hadn't been doing enough squats. It was very embarrassing."

"When we did have those hard days," added Lutz, 23, "we would go back to Rob's room. He had a couple of guitars in there and a lot of great music. It was really fun being able to relax and have the cast come together, having that time just to bond and not really be actors but friends."

Even though the film's release is several weeks away, Summit Entertainment already has announced plans to move ahead with adaptations of the other books in the series -- depending, of course, on just how well "Twilight" fares at the box office.

Pattinson, Lutz and Reed, 20, said they are thrilled about the prospects for a Cullen family reunion. After all, playing a vampire does offer an actor certain advantages.

"It's quite cool having this sort of secret element," Pattinson offered.

"You're doing a scene with someone and you can play something however you want and deliver it in a completely random way so even the other actor doesn't know what you're doing.

"And you can just say, 'Well, it's because I'm a vampire, isn't it?' "

McIntyre is a Times staff writer.

Interview transcription

The wonderful people at http://robertpattinson.org/ transcribed some of the interview. Please pay them a visit so I don't feel so ashamed of copying this stuff :-)

”The life of a vampire, basically, outside of the movie consists of going to different cities around the world and everybody screams and it’s really strange. (Laughs) Everybody knows you’re a vampire and no one really cares and they just wanna scream and say that they love you. It’s great – I mean, I’d recommend being a vampire to anybody.

When asked about his similarities to Edward:
“I’m not that similar, I mean I’m not really similar at all. But I guess when you’re trying to play a part, you try and find the parts of the character that you relate to … I’m not romantic to everyone but I kind of have the whole attitude which Edward has that if you’re going to make an effort with someone it has to be that one person and that’s it. I guess I’m similar to him in that respect.”

“I didn’t read it before the filming, but after the audition I did. And, I mean I tried to read it before the audition, but it did seem kinda too girly for me so I couldn’t really get through it. But when I started playing the role, when I knew I was playing the role, I tried to make it so it wasn’t exactly the same as in the book where he’s just so perfect all the time… Because I don’t think girls really find that attractive anyway. They like people with problems and people who are a little bit more wild, I guess. So I saw things in the book – I saw Edward’s character as being kind of jealous and, especially in the later books, possessive. He’s got a lot of bad points too and I tried to make them more relevant. It’s also something quite interesting, too, about young girls – it helps you understand how young girls really wanna see things, which is very strange.”

Interviewer: You are the chosen one to play Edward, the vampire – that’s a huge responsibility.
Rob: Yeah, I’m terrified – I hope everyone likes the movie, I mean, otherwise I’m going to get killed. There’s a lot of expectations. I think the film will live up to them, though – I hope.
Interviewer: And you feel comfortable…
Rob: Relatively. Sort of, sort of. I mean, I read the script first and then I got little bits from the book after, so it’s kind of expanded. I mean, it’s always hard doing books because everybody’s got their idea. I mean, you just have to ignore that otherwise it’s impossible.

'Twilight' Countdown: Robert Pattinson invites fans to chat

LA Times blog posted another interview with Rob.

For someone who can’t go to a shopping mall without getting mobbed, Robert Pattinson seems awfully uncomfortable in the spotlight. The actor told The Times he hates to watch himself on screen, though he said he might make an exception for “Twilight.”

“I am kind of curious. I guess now the character has become this semi-iconic thing to quite a lot of people.”

Um, you could say that.

Pattinson, or R. Patz, as he’s been dubbed by the adoring fandom, said he knew that big changes were in store as soon as he landed the role of Edward in the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novel. What tipped him off? Teenage girls began following him around London.

“It’s happened since the day it got said that I was playing the part,” Pattinson said, running his hands through his hair. “It was like a day when it changed. [People went from saying] ‘Are you the guy from ‘Harry Potter’? to ‘It’s Edward!’ It’s really, really strange.”

When asked if he thinks he’ll ever become accustomed to that aspect of his newfound celebrity, he simply replied, “No. It’s just a certain amount of acceptance, I guess. The only kind of strange thing is when you get photographed,” he continued. “When people come up to you, it’s completely understandable, but if someone’s secretly photographing you that’s kind of weird. I don’t think you’d ever get used to that. You can’t really live normally when that’s happening. But people coming up to you is always kind of nice. I don’t do anything during my day, so it’s someone to talk to.”

Movie Fanatic- New Article on Little Ashes Click Me to Read

Lots buzz for Little Ashes and a neat review, the article is quite large and it has the same pics we already have posted. Check it out click on headline above to link to the page.

Red carpet video

A quote from the red carpet:

“I am terrified, I hope everyone likes the movie, or I am going to get killed”.

I'm thinking you have nothing to worry about, even if the movie sucks(which it won't) we'll keep lovin' ya!

New Still - Little Ashes

The article that goes w/ this picture is not so great,
just the ramblings of someone at e-online.
Article under the pic if you care to read.
New still nonetheless.

If Twilight weren't enough reason to love Rob Pattinson, now comes word about him going gay.
The British babe, who has become one of Hollywood's biggest rising stars because of his major role in the upcoming vampire movie, also has a part in a small, independent flick called Little Ashes as the late surrealist artist Salvador DalĂ.
The movie centers on the time Dalí arrived in Madrid as an 18-year-old university student in 1922. It's in the Spanish capital that Dali first meets writer Federico García Lorca and filmmaker Luis Buñuel.
I'm told Pattinson shares a love scene with Javier Beltran, who plays Lorca, when their characters' relationship turns romantic in the waters of the seaside town of Cadaqués.
Little Ashes has already played at some European film festivals and is scheduled for release in the states March 27, 2009.
But what we really wanna know is, Is that a wig Pattinson's wearing, or did he actually find enough product to tame his signature unruly coif?
