So let's break it down, and maybe he did not articulate it so well. Say what you will about Catherine Hardwicke, SHE is the one to thank for the casting choice, which has impacted many lives, book fans, actors, and pop culture history forever.

I don't think he said that Rob is all about his beauty...yes, he said he is statuesque and God-like (I find it hard to disagree!) but he also said (paraphrasing) that he's got a timeless sense of romance about him and a way of carrying himself that made him the perfect Edward. I was going to comment that I've never heard Rob described so well, and thinking it over I still feel that way!

@RPL i totally agree. I loved his description of Rob. This guy obviously really respects both Rob and Kristen. It's good to know that behind the scenes they have people working on these movies who support their careers so much.
