Robert Pattinson Denies Robsten Rumors, Talks About His Dog (RIP)

I am posting all info from different outlets here. So this will be an epic post. Most of it is repetitive but I'll post anyways. Turns out Patty, his dog passed away last Christmas :( RIP Patty...

These are just parts from the interview, wait till the whole thing comes out and always remember quotes in articles never really reflect what the person meant when he said those words... ;)

From GossipCop about the Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart relationship denial:

Since those interviews were conducted, it has been reported that Pattinson and Stewart were seen at several concerts together, sharing meals, and otherwise appearing close.

According to a rep for Vanity Fair, shortly before the interview was turned in, Peretz contacted reps for both actors and Summit Entertainment to again confirm or deny a possible relationship, and suddenly this time they would not offer a comment.

So while the article’s text says Pattinson tells Peretz rumors of a love affair were false and supplies the aforementioned quotes, it’s important to note that those statements are months old and may not reflect current circumstances.

From MTV.com:

Robert Pattinson hasn't left the spotlight since he was cast as Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" flicks. And the rumor that doesn't seem to want to die is the one that has him paired with Kristen Stewart. Pattinson insists he's not dating his co-star, but that doesn't mean people won't keep trying to hook them up.

"It doesn't make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]," he says in the December issue of Vanity Fair, on newsstands November 4 in New York and Los Angeles. "I've literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it's like, 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like, 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!' "

Stewart also laughs off the rumors in the issue, adding, "It's so retarded. We're characters in this comic book."

Pattinson continued that he and Stewart are "good friends." "I think she's the best young actress around," he said. "She's influenced how I've done all the 'Twilight' stuff. It's quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything."

He went on to talk about his fame and how being in the "Twilight" franchise is sometimes overwhelming, making his life completely different than it was before he signed on. Before "Twilight," he admits, he had spent his time "getting drunk for a year." "I was going to all these auditions and telling everyone how I got fired [from a play in London's West End] because I stood up for my principles, and making up all this bullsh--," he said. "I kind of went nuts for a while." He added that he would play his guitar in bars because "no one gave a sh--when you got up onstage."

Despite thinking that he looks like "a cartoon character," he said he went into the "Twilight" audition "a little more brazen than I would have been in a normal audition." "I was still in the mode thinking, I've got to make this really, really serious. This is not just a sexy thing. ... I was slamming my head against the wall and kind of going nuts," he said. "I remember calling my parents and saying, 'That's it. I'm not doing this anymore.' And then hearing, 'OK, fine,' which was not the answer I wanted to hear at all."

Pattinson wasn't the only one doubting he could tackle the role. The studio also wasn't sure he was right for the part, according to "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke. " 'Catherine, do you think you can make this guy look good?' " Hardwicke recalled being asked. "So I said, 'Here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to get his hair back to a different color, do a different style. He would work with a trainer from now on. My cinematographer is great with lighting. He will study the cheekbones, and I promise you, we'll make the guy look good.' "

Now, of course, instead of concentrating on how to make it, Pattinson is trying to keep fame from becoming too much for him to handle. "I'm trying not to drown," he said. "I guess I'm not the type of guy cut out to do a franchise. I'm not much of a crowd person."

More from E! and the Huffington Post after the cut...

From The Huffington Post:
NEW YORK, N.Y.--Robert Pattinson tells Vanity Fair contributing editor Evgenia Peretz that the rumors of his secret relationship with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart are untrue. "It doesn't make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I've literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it's like 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!' " As for Stewart, she sounds significantly more fed up about the whole thing: "It's so retarded," she tells Peretz. "We're characters in this comic book."

For the record, Pattinson insists that he and Stewart are really just "good friends," and that he deeply admires her. "I think she's the best young actress around," he tells Peretz. "She's influenced how I've done all the Twilight stuff. It's quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything."

Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke tells Peretz that the young co-stars shared major chemistry while filming. "What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other. Complex feelings for each other. It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination."

Before his Twilight audition, Pattinson tells Peretz, he had never read the Twilight books, had been "getting drunk for a year," felt like a blob and dreaded having to take his shirt off, which the audition required of him. Having nothing to lose, he went in "a little more brazen than I would have been in a normal audition." Recalling one of the scenes he did with Stewart, on Hardwicke's bed, in which he and Stewart have a passionate but aborted kiss, he says, "I was still in the mode thinking, I've got to make this really, really serious. This is not just a sexy thing.... I was slamming my head against the wall and kind of going nuts." He was sure he had made a complete ass of himself. "I remember calling my parents and saying, 'That's it. I'm not doing this anymore.' And then hearing, 'O.K., fine,' which was not the answer I wanted to hear at all."

Hardwicke tells Peretz that people at the studio had their doubts about casting Pattinson as Edward Cullen. "They called me up and they literally said, 'Catherine, do you think you can make this guy look good?' So I said, 'Here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to get his hair back to a different color, do a different style. He would work with a trainer from now on. My cinematographer is great with lighting. He will study the cheekbones, and I promise you, we'll make the guy look good.' "

Of his newfound fame, Pattinson tells Peretz, "I'm trying not to drown." He continues: "I guess I'm not the type of guy cut out to do a franchise. I'm not much of a crowd person."

Peretz describes Pattinson as self-conscious and self-deprecating, constantly apologizing for being boring, for telling you a story you might have read somewhere else already, or for the mess in his hotel room. "I'm unbearably self-conscious about stuff," he admits. He tells Peretz that he thinks he resembles "a cartoon character," and that one of his legs is longer than the other, which makes him look "like an idiot." Of his brief stint as a model, he tells Peretz, "I was such a terrible model. I was really tall but still looked like a six-year-old."

Pattinson tells Peretz that there was a point before Twilight where he almost gave up on acting. "I was going to all these auditions and telling everyone how I got fired [from a play in London's West End] because I stood up for my principles, and making up all this bullshit.... I kind of went nuts for a while." He couldn't land another job, stopped talking to his agent, and began performing with a guitar in bars. It was a scene, he recalls a little ruefully, in which "no one gave a shit when you got up onstage."

As soon as he decided to put acting behind him, another role came his way and changed his mind: a BBC thriller called The Haunted Airman, in which Pattinson got to be in a wheelchair and act like "a weirdo. I just changed my whole opinion about everything." The role was one of many out-there characters--or "weirdos," as Pattinson says--that the actor has made something of a specialty. When you play a weirdo, he explains, "you can always have an excuse.... He's a weirdo!"

The December issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on November 4 and nationally on November 10.

From E! Online:

Vanity Fair likes to think of itself as a highbrow culture magazine with its fancy Annie Leibovitz covers, but if there's one thing no publication can afford to ignore, it's Twilight. So for the December issue, the mag went Tiger Beat meets J.Crew catalog with a stunning 12-page piece on Robert Pattinson (ahhhhhhhh!).

The photos are amazing. Look, Rob Pattz reads books! He can really wear a sweater! He eats his lobster like this! He gets so overwhelmed! He'll hang out in bed with you all day! And, of course, he writes epic ballads at his grand piano on the beach! Swoon.

As for the actual words written about our dear sparkle vampire, it's mostly about what an overwhelmed, self-conscious wreck Rob is right now. "I'm trying not to drown," he says.

And then there's writer Evgenia Peretz's description of a bumbling teen idol: "He is often apologizing—for being boring, for the 'douchey' terrace that's attached to his hotel room, for telling you a story you might have read somewhere else already...he'll dismiss his work in any way he can."

But most Pattz fans are well aware of Rob's self-deprecating nature and that's when it's time to play up the maybe, maybe-not relationship with Kristen Stewart.

First up is the always reliable Twilight director, Catherine Hardwicke, who loves to play up Robsten speculation. "What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other," she says. "Complex feelings for each other. It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination."

Things just get more tabloidy from there as Peretz gives into the Robsten hype. "It's very likely that their off-screen relationship mirrored their on-screen one: an intense attraction that couldn't be realized. During the shoot, Stewart was with her long-term boyfriend, actor Michael Angarano."

Despite the whole tragic star-crossed lovers narrative, this is thrown in for good measure: "For the record, Pattinson insists that he and Stewart are really just 'good friends' and that he deeply admires her."

Plus, according to the Pattz, the logic doesn't add up. "It doesn't make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]," he says. "I've literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!'"

But then it's right back to Rob and Kristen's secret relationship. "She and Pattinson have mastered the not-touching thing," the writer says of their Comic-Con interaction. "She even throws the crowd a few curveballs by over-flirting with muscle-bound Taylor Lautner."

It's a nice effort on Vanity Fair's part to add fuel to the Robsten fire, but everything from the Hardwicke quote to the offscreen Twilight tension to the Comic-Con stuff has been covered. We all have the Internet—just stick to the pretty pictures and the nice little things Rob tells you, like his one wish:

"All that he really wants is a home, so he can get a dog, since the West Highland white terrier he had since the age of five and 'who was like my sister' died last Christmas."

Awww. Looks like we can add sensitive to his list of attributes.

Oh, I didn't know Patty died...poor BB...

I hope he gets his wish someday and has a home base, with a dog waiting at the door for him.

Maybe he can get a Chihuahua and carry it around like Paris...

Oh Rob, I so don't care who you date or don't date. You haven't met me yet. He he.

I think the interview is old, like "Remember Me" old..I recall rumors of the Vanity Fair shoot one weekend durring the filming in New York, hense the comment about being across the country from Stewart, they just wanted the feature him in December right after the release of "New Moon" is all. Plus that comment from Stewart was made while she was shooting "The Runaways"..Damn scary how I know all this and forgot my Aunt's 80th Birthday...*sigh*

Anyhow, that's all I'm saying..nothing else, He didn't look too happy while filming Eclipse, now he's smiling all the time again...weird..or maybe he just smiles more in Japan..?

Gozde said...

The interview clearly states it was held after Comic Con in his hotel in Los Angeles.

I updated the post with Gossip Cop info...

Uh oh, here we go again. LOL. I don't really give a crapsten, but I don't think this says anything new.
Poor Patty. :(

Pandora said...

I think he smiles more because he can now actually leave the house.

He is doing promotion and gets photographed but thats part of the job for him now and I dare to believe that he is fine with that aspect now or at least acepting it as a part of the game.

But Im sad about Patty. Its hard loosing a pet after you had it for so long.

Gozde said...

Or he smiles more when he is not under peer pressure to be cool and act like he hates the attention 'cause he is supposed to be all emo and not care?

Poor Rob, I feel his sadness over the dog, mine died last December to.

Gozde- So I was right, "Remember Me" old. He was still based in New York at Comic Com.

er...maybe he just doesn't like Canada..

Robsten-related again!!!
Well, so Gossip Cop had decided to put a damper on the Vanity fair Robsten denial... After Comicon, it seems the policy is "no comment". Maybe Vanity fair should have erased the entire paragraph about this topic when they got wind of this change of tune.
Well, drama sells ;_;

Then again, I agree with Gozde's motto: is it really that important indeed...
I hope that the rest of the interview will be interesting.

raizie said...

Gozde,
I just wish he was shagging you already, so we can stop all this nonsense.

I love happy Rob, whatever the reason. I can't wait for the interviews!

Ashley said...

Now why did they have to do that?!?! Why couldn't they just leave it as a denial. Does everyone really think things have changed that much since Comic Con? I mean I thought everyone was convinced they were together after they were spotted the morning after the MTV Movie Awards at the Charlie... This only further proves to me that things aren't always as they seem. I think Kristen did break up with her boyfriend so she is no longer concerned with constantly denying the same rumors and Rob clearly states in the interview that it doesn't seem to matter what they say.

SluttyPattz said...

I couldn't care one way or another about Robsten, I just love the pics and I am sorry his dog died.

I was watching Gossip Girl (yeah I love teenage stuff LOL) and Hilary Duff plays the part of an actress who made 3 movies about vampires, had a relationship with her co-star but it all turned out to be for publicity reasons. Sounds familiar? LOL
I was like 'seriously?' everybody's playing the vampire/RP card these days...

jmm4832 said...

I don't care who Rob dates as it isn't my business, but I do take issue with Kristen's statement that it's so "retarded" for people to think they're having an affair. Really? What are people supposed to think when she's photographed leaving his hotel in the morning, or on his balcony? It's natural for people to assume there's something else going on. I wouldn't call it retarded. So they set the record straight. Good for them.

Angela said...

I'm so tired of old interviews. I think IF something did happen with them, it was during/after comicon.

I don't think they are going to address it at all in any new interviews.

I also think they have been so busy filming eclipse, there can be too much time for all this personal stuff. They film late at night and they are tired all the time.

And every boy should have a dog.

Nov 2nd 2009: the day the shit hit the fan, or the day the fandom went bat shit. The promo tour is off to a clusterfuck start. If I were smart I'd hibernate for a week with a copy of HTB, but are any of us that strong?! All the ink that flows over this should be blood red and self-erasing. I was dying to see a smiling carefree Rob again... please Summit just give us some great interviews in Europe!

I cannot stop laughing at the parts talking about how he apologizes for everything including "the 'douchey' terrace that's attached to his hotel room." LOL

I enjoyed reading this. No great revelations, just more reasons to love him.

So sad about his dog. It's hard to lose a pet. Sounds like she was part of the family for a long time!

MissingStar said...

Personally I think it is all for publicity. Because if you look at it the rumors only really heat up when filming gets under way. And let's face it the tabloids (whether you like them or not) are some of the best free publicity out there. I also remember when the pirates series came out that everyone kept saying Keira and Orlando were together. Which turned out to be untrue. Also, (and this will most likely get me shot) I never saw the 'chemistry' on screen that everyone was always going on about. So take it as you will but until I either see A)a picture of them really kissing (no movie camera around) or B)they come out with a real statement (issued by their PR firms). I will call bull crap on the rumors every single time.

peeling a fig said...

Appropriate choice of picture, Godze :)

The cynic in me now thinks the article was deliberately ambiguous just to get everyone riled up and talking about it. They're playing us, like. And it hasn't even come out yet.

Aw, poor Patty.

Sarah said...

Go Kris.

Everyone else who insists/whines/ignores all their claims of romantic relationship should gain some respect and maturity because they are annoying the hell out of me. I'm not for or against, I'm tired and bored of this topic, and I think at the end of the day no matter what is going on (though i have my own personal THOUGHT, not KNOWledge, from observing these two that nothing is going on) if they say they are NOT dating then they are NOT dating. I don't care what the actual truth is - just respect what they are saying. And if they are really dating but want to keep it secret for whatever reason (imaginary media chaos scare?) I think that would be quite silly of them. They don't seem like silly people to me.

Jujubes said...

ashes87, I was thinking the same thing about the Charlie Hotel, that was the morning after the MMVAs. The denials were after that. Meh.
Gossip Cop should have probably left that one alone.
Gozde, you're a doll.

Sarah said...

Haha. Yeah. Claims of denial of relationship.* Whoops.

MissingStar - I guess I never saw any particular sort of "chemistry" either. Certainly not off-screen too... In many interviews, Kristen often looks at Rob like she doesn't get him at all.

Sarah said...

By the way, I don't see anything about them being so "obvious." Keep in mind everyone has a different perception. So while saying that may be valid as an opinion, it certainly is not valid as an obvious, obvious fact.

Sarah said...

So all rambling aside, I hope this turns out to be a better interview than we're seeing so far... I really loved the GQ interview. Wasn't that the one where he mentions seeing someone getting a BJ in the car next to him while he was getting a burger? Hahahaha. I think that just made the whole interview and I would pay to see his reaction when that happened.

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

The one thing i hate and it turns me off are adults playing games,
games are for kids,
it means all their sightings together were PR stunts or someone is not being truthful,
adults should own up to their actions and stop acting like children,
this makes me see Ron in a different light,
i always thought he would not play the hollywood games of PR stunts with Katew
guess i was wrong.i apologise for not believing the folks who said in the beginning it was a PR stunt.
you guys were right all along.i was a fool thinking Rob would not play games.joke is on me.

MissingStar said...

Well I agree it is underhanded you have to realize that the both of them are under a Publicity contract. So most likely they never had any say in that kinda stuff.

And Sarah I agree with seeing his reaction to BJ in the next car. Also if I remember correctly that was the interview that at the end that he said he F***ed a Jonas. I thought that was the funniest thing of the planet.

tudormyers said...

I do agree that the interviews given are repeative and the only different news given to us is months old. Sorry, Rob, that you lost your "sister", she lived many, many years. (Rob had Patty from age 5-23, Patty was 18 years old) The Vanity Fair Dec 2009 issue should have came out a month after produced, not waited so long. The issue is giving old news; give us good, new info, otherwise, we only want to see the pics.

jmm4832 said...

Rpattz-turns-me-on, yeah I agree that the R&K together sightings could have been for PR purposes only, just to generate interest in the franchise. It's been done before. They have a lot of people eating crow.

Not who he is dating, sleeping with, doing a mile high in the air, long hair, short hair mullet none of it.

You all are taking the buzz our of the VF pics, which by the way are fucking fantastic!

Stop worrying about who he's shagging and go look at those achingly beautiful pictures one more time and then fantasize he's shagging you. If you can't do that with those pictures.. why the hell are you here?

Please... can't we all just pretend he wants me and get over it? :)

I don't get how they're playing a game and most importantly why. In all this situation (it's true, it's crap, it's pr...) I'm sure they're the ones enjoying it the least.

Poor Patty... I lost my dog in January and it breaks my heart every day. He deserves every happiness, just as all of us do. If that means he and KStew are together, then more power to them. If not, then great. Thank you for being such a wonderful, humble person Rob! You have fans out there who only want you to enjoy your life! Plus, if I ever came face to face with you, I think I'd faint, not make any demands of you.

Man am I tired of hearing about if they are/aren't dating! I have read what Rob said in VF and what GC has said too! Some people seem to think GC has said that because no comment was used then Robsten exist! *SIGH* Like Rob and everyone else has said, no matter if he was to go on live TV and deny it people still wouldn't believe him or anyone else for that matter. So why continue to answer the same question for over a year?

I have a friend who is gay and we do everything together, including staying in the same hotel room and going to bars/dinner with each others family. Every one would always asked me if he was gay. I would answer the question but still everyone continued to ask the same question. After a few months I just stopped answering because I got tired of answering the same freaking question. I can't imagine having to answer that for as long as R/K have to answer the are you dating question!

Did anyone ever stop to think that the reason they started saying no comment is because they are tired of this same question when it has been asked for over a year?

It is enough to drive a person insane or at least me!

Anyways, it sucks that his dog died, i would be out of it if one of mine died. I know they will some day but hopefully not soon.

You are both spot on...thank goodness someone has some commonsense. Crikey the promo tour hasn't even kicked off and he's in trouble alrready...this poor bloody man. He just can't win. Over on some other blogs they're tearing him apart for supposedly 'throwing Krstin under a bus'...what? Didn't she deny the relationship as well...so how come she ends up smelling of roses. I am sick to the back teeth of it all. Some people live in a fantasy world they really do....it's very very scary.

Sigh....the pictures are just lovely...what more can I say....but the gloss has been taken off somewhat....and his poor old dog...that's very sad.

Hope Rob is having a good time in Japan. The sooner he finishes with this franchise the better in my opinion and I never thought I'd feel like saying that.

Dazzle - I do remember you saying it was all publicity. But in Rob & Kristen's defense I think they generally like hanging out together. I think even if they were asked to play this up a bit they didn't do anything too much out of character. They've all said they hung out in each others hotel rooms while shooting Twilight. Plus I think they were just asked maybe not to comment on the status of their relationship until promotion time. Like now...

@rpattz-turns-me-on -- I hate to see you so disillusioned. Rob's no Hollywood player, that has always been clear. He has far too much integrity (and perhaps naivety) to be a successful faker.

jmm4832 said...

Dazzle, I'm sorry I didn't believe you that this was all for publicity. R&K certainly added fuel to the fire themselves by their actions so I don't really think they should be complaining too much that the tabloids took the info and ran with it. Just like if anyone had been spotted sneaking out of Rob's hotel in the morning then they would have made a big deal out of that too.

Unknown said...

aw, I don't think they are playing anyone, and I honestly don't think they are doing anything for publicity's sake. If it were for publicity, then they wouldn't have had Robert deny two weeks before the premiere honestly. It's polarizing and anticlimatic, and pr does not thrive on polarization but hype and fantasy.

I think they are simply in a whirlwind they can't control, they are overly scrutinized, and so much of this is bigger than them and even the franchise at this point.

It's like the makings of a perfect storm-they came in all fresh faced and adorable right when Brangelina left a void of hotness when they got all boring. They never had a chance, my poor Twilight babies.

hmmm...if their actions were for publicity, it wouldn't have been to help the franchise. Seeing both of them look disheveled and coming out of hotels is not the stuff of Edwardian dreams. In some ways, their more eye-brow raising actions subverted their franchise characters and turned it much about themselves than any romantic edward and bella romance.

My take is that Robert and Kristen are publicly defining themselves in relation to eachother as platonic but close, regardless if they've had a few moments publicly that would contradict that image. They have more moments that actually align with that image, so they have the right to define their relationship however they see fit.

@ lovesrob

NO, NO, NO! That's not what I meant i was trying to give an example of how a very personal question is asked all the time and after awhile you just give up on answering the question all together. Sorry for the confussion, I was suffering and still in a delusional state of mind because of those HQ pics of Rob, when i wrote that earlier! I don't think he is gay if he is oh well I would still drool over him just like I do for Mr. Cooper!

I think it is extremely sad that people are saying the time KS and RP have been seen together is for publicity. They appear to be great friends going through a crazy time and helping each other through it. They were filming a movie together and hung out. Who else would you hang out with when you are away from home? Give the guy a break

Gozde- You make Rob sound like a child who succumbs to "peer pressure." He's a 23-year-old and is responsible for his own actions.

poor rob..there was this fanatics still want him dating Kstew..so annoying..i mean i love them to be 2gether..but it ok if they aren't.. i only hope for rob success since some haters underestimate his acting skills.. hope he doesnt pressure.. i don't want to say this but a lot of celebrity died lately..soo hope he has a long..long career..huhu

and let me just add i think Rob is not susceptible to peer pressure really, especiallly with someone younger than him. lol My take on his sullen ways as of late has to do with partiular paps from certain agencies who have been relenteless and relentlessly rude to him and Kristen whenever they went out. He showed a willfulness in Vancouver in regards to not giving these certain paps anything more than he needed to, and I really liked that sort of defiance from him.

In Japan, I think the crowds seem more managable and pleasant to him, and the paps are not the same as over here. That would make Robert happy I'm sure. Viva la Japan!

I think this is such a bad PR management especially for the movie. The VF pretty much diverted people's attention very successfully from the movie and some haters wanted to boycott the movie now.

I'm seeing lots of New Mood advertisements on TV now. I hate to say it but from what I've noticed over many years is that the worse the movie the more they promote it BEFORE people see it so they'll at least have a good opening weekend and then word of mouth keeps it from making more money.

But a GOOD movie generally doesn't spend a lot promoting it and counts on the public to spread the word and keep the audience coming.

I'm just sayin'

I'm so sad about Patty.
I can remember the first interview with Rob I've seen...he was talking about her and it was so new for me. I've never seen before any boy admitting he loves his dog when the whole world is watching. I'm Robsessed because of it, you know?
In March issue of Sugar Lad Magazine he said he'll give her super-hormone treatment and get bionic skeleton, so she'll be Superdog. So when they published it she wasn't with us :(
Poor Rob. I'm gonna love him forever because of his attitude to Patty.

I so don't care who you date or don't date. You haven't met me yet.

@LittleBear I'm with you!

Can Gossip Cop please DIAF? They're so annoying, can't believe I'm saying this but not even Ted C. annoys me that much.

That said, RIP Patty. Loosing a pet is so hard, is like a member of your family dies, horrible.

I'm also just sick and tired of all this Robsten thing, that is why I'm sooo dying to see him do other films, beyond that of Twilight.

I just feel like for most of his interviews (a very genuine few) he just shouts out, "Hey I'm Rob the actor NOT THE CHARACTER EDWARD!!" may it be in love life or personality.

I also want to say I feel so sorry for his dog Patty, and wonder what he feels now that the family member closest to him is gone.

Rob my shoulders are here for the crying on, feel free to use them anytime!!=)

Hardwicke needs to STFU. I think she loves to exploit her leads and that she was the source of the beginning of this speculation. I suspect she had to make them sound intense to sell Rob to the Twihards.

I do not believe they put on a relationship for publicity, although I do believe that at some point they started to play with the hysteria because they recognized their power. Kristen seems very resentful of the loss of her freedom, and Rob loves a good joke.

Robsten may exist to some degree, but not the way it has been sold by Ted C. and his ilk. And people who likely do not have enough life experience to see through some of his assertions, embraced it.

The backlash is insane. They bought a lie and are angry at Rob or the magazine. In reality, the culprit is the one who looked for meaning where there was one, and hung her hopes on it.

Um, I seemed to have missed something. Why is everybody talking about Rob & Kris being a publicity stunt? I read the interview, & I didn't see anything about that, did something pop up somewhere else? Inquiring minds really want to know LOL.

Marna said...

OK, I just checked over at the comments on eonline, & I can't believe what I'm reading. All these people suddenly hate Rob. What is going on here? Why is this article setting people off like this? I don't understand it at all.

HISSSS at VF for not clarifying the exact date when this interview was conducted.

Had they included a note that indicated when all of these comments by RP-KS-CH were made (what, in July? August? CH’s comments sounded like it was from last year), folks could have been able to draw up a more logical extrapolation of events -- if they cared. (I refuse to get my undies in snits over whether they are on or not, publicity or not.)

I'm enjoying the ride...and Rob.

It would be very hard to replace Patty. That one had a Bayonce walk. No wonder Rob danced to “Single Ladies” backstage.
:D

Time to dance to "Single Ladies"!

Ahh, finally, a reason to hate Rob.

Girlfriends need to unleash the pent up emotions once in a while.
