Robert Pattinson Gets Executive Producer Credit on Remember Me!

Moon at Letters to Rob attended an advanced screening of Remember Me last night. I am anti spoilers so have not read the whole thing but she says:

"Rob gets an Executive Producer credit on the movie. He has good people working for him!"

Kudos Team Robert Pattinson! Actor, executive producer, singer and song writer...many more to come :)

Head over to Letters to Rob if you wanna be spoiled ;)

Havn't had time to post since just keeping up with the interviews, and events are kicking my butt, and real life just makes that much harder.

Gozde,Dni,and Kate, you gals rock my world. Thanks for all of your hard work and sleepless nights just to keep us Robsessed!!

I can't wait to see this movie..even more now that I have been spoiled....thanks RPG!!lol

Completely off topic: I assume that the banner should be blinking ROBsessed. It is not, for me. Anyone else? It does not say ROBsessed at all. It does say the addicted part.

OMG, is it stupid that I'm sooo proud of our boy?

I'm way behind with all things Rob as I'm so busy at work at the moment but I will try to catch up over the weekend.

Anyway, this def. is very good news. I always knew he's clever. Who knows where he will be in a few years - he can do everything! Way to go, Rob!!!

Well hello there Mr. Executive Producer!!!! *wink*

I'm proud of him too. He did put in his two cents and he deserves the credit. This is reminding me of his recent interview about the power he has now to tell people what to do(one day his dream of owning a production company will come true). I have read the script and it was damn good. Can't wait to see the movie and the little changes that they did to it. That sex scene sounds bananas. And everyone keeps bringing it up. Mr. Pattinson is definitely in the building. *fans self*

SMOOCHES HOT BITCH

Hi rpattzgirl, how are you?

-Waives back-

Haven't been here for .... I actually don't know!

Btw, I want to be spoiled (I read the script long time ago). Can you give me some info on the main (sex) scenes?

Pet73 said...

And do you think that it will not be PG13?

rpattzgirl survived Rob! said...

Pet76,

I'm good hon, been in Rob heaven the past week!

Goz will ban me for sure if I say anything else about RM..so no can do...but I think we're all going to be very very pleased!

I'm not sure about the rating..that's still up in the air I believe...I don't know how it could be pg13...unless they still make some changes...

rpattzgirl survived Rob! said...

Sorry, 73 not 76!

Sigh, THANK YOU for this pic! Better than caffeine for sure. Looks like Rob's got more than just his acting skills riding on RM. Excited he's taken the challenge. Really can't wait to see it. Was so envious some got to preview it last night, but then decided I'd rather wait for the finished product.

I'm so proud for Rob! After all the tabloid crap it's nice to see something good happen to him for a change. He deserves it.

What does it mean/entail to be executive producer?

AP said...

@solas: Because I’m a know-it-all, I’ll give a definition. An exec producer is someone who has played an instrumental role in getting the film made. That can range from putting money into the production, finding the script, bringing actors on board etc to overseeing production, and making sure it stays on track, in a more hands on manner. Some execs are very involved throughout, some just at the beginning or end, and some in just one aspect or another.
If you google you'll find more explanations.

Thank you Solas and A. I was wondering myself. Just did not get around to googeling the info.

He said in an interview that he has always admired Warren Beatty's career (acting, producing, directing). I'm sure that's the direction Rob's career will move in also. He's much too energetic & intelligent to be satisfied "just" acting for long. I think he would make an amazing director! (As long as he also acts in it too, can't lose his beautiful face!) Every time he says or does something my pride & faith in him increases. He really is extraordinary in every way!

so frkn' HOT and now a producer.... OMG what else!!!!!!

SluttyPattz said...

OMG rpattzgirl I can't wait for this movie to come out!!! I can't wait.

He is going to be so much hotter as Tyler than he is as Edward.

And to think that there were some out there who doubted Rob's bankability! Did they not have eyes and ears?

We knew the range of his assets and awesome talent long, long ago...and he just keeps on getting better and better.

I'd love to be able to buy stock in him. I plan to contribute greatly to every project he'll ever be in.

Until then, his value will continue to escalate. Clothes on. Clothes off. Singing. Reciting. Smiling. Frowning. Pouting. Brooding. Touching. Kissing...(I swoon).

many thanks A; I depend on you for definitions and explanations especially of the entertainment world. Wish I had been on these boards long ago enough to ask you how to get a song on the soundtrack for New Moon;the lyrics of one of my songs was so fitting it seemed tailor (not a pun) made for the film. Don;t know if the tune/rhythm/pace was what they would have needed, but I would have loved to have presented it had I known the right paths.
o well :-(

BTW-- although Edward does endorse google, you cannot always find what you want there!

RPLover said...

ah! no spoilers! that said, I will now have an image of wild sex with Robler against a wall for the rest of the day. and what could be better than that, I ask you?!

;))))

and congrats to our boy for the next step is what is sure to be an awesome career! *in my best Chandler voice* "I'm SO excited [for RM] I may vomit!"

AP said...

@Solas: er...am nervous. lol Am highly undependable! Regarding soundtrack: you would have had to submit a demo to the music producer/s but I caution – that’s a tough and difficult path in general. There are lots of other avenues to explore in terms of putting music out there. It is relatively easy to make yr own demo or cd if you have the money or software, and either play yourself or have muso friends. Still best to use google to get a taste and here’s a place to start: http://www.indiemusic.com. Lots of links.
Now I’m off to see a premiere…:)

Without knowing much about the movie world, I always thought (back from interviews Rob did for Twilight) that he put a lot more into his movies than just acting a scripted role...the way he took responsibility to steer the movie or a scene in a particular direction. It's good that his input has been recognised in this way for RM. Rob certainly is the complete package!

RPCinemaMajo said...

proud of my man. A complete artist and entrepreneur now ... oh my god I love

rpattzgirl survived Rob! said...

Just an FYI..I posted the spoiler on my blog, so if you really want to know, it's there...

It's mostly about the sex....

MMc said...

Glad to see he is taking some good steps to get some damn RESPECT in that business.
To be executive director you have to be willing to put out a hell of a lot of money to make the movie, right? And they you can also have a little say in how the movie gets made isn't that correct ........or no?

solas said...

A-many thanks
