does anyone know if Stephenie will publish a 5th book in the Twilight Saga? It was never addressed. BUT Oprah was saying that will be answered after the advertisements. They never did. :(

I love you Stephanie Meyer! Wow. If it wasn't for her this site wouldn't exist.

You know, Oprah always ruins any benevolence with her unbearable arrogance and narcissism. She can't talk about anything without throwing in stories about her school in Africa or how much the kids there ADORE her or whatever. It's great that she gives so much away, but man. It's so transparent that she just does it in order to ensure a sense of adoration from her audience. I cannot bear this woman.

Having said that, it's always nice to see Stephenie and to hear great things about Rob. Not a bad interview when Stephenie managed to get a word in edgewise.

Ugh. They call her Mum-Oprah. God could she shoehorn her MAGNIFICENCE in there anymore. I hate Oprah.

Stephanie Meyer is cute. She wrote a great story. And HELL YEAH RPatz is perfect for the role!

I had never seen anything with Oprah (not being american), but she doesn't come across as that good of a host. I don't understand why she has that many viewers because, if that's her usual interview style, it's not that interesting. I agree that I got a very selfcentered vibe from her.

But good for Stephenie that she went to such a big talk show, being invited there seems to mean something in the US! And it could translate into more books sold, and more NM tickets sold -I had heard that it was the Oprah usual aftermath.

Oprah missed the boat by not getting the cast on her show when she had the chance...

Go to Oprah website for more Stephanie questions and answers. Her Mom loves Midnight Sun and is nagging, in a good way, for Stephanie to finish the book!!

I would love to have Stephenie finish Midnight Sun too!!! Please, please, pretty please!

Lets not pick on Oprah. she is very loved. It is easy to criticise if you don't know her, but her persona has developed over 30 years and that is who she is and people love her. The whole children in Africa thing is very special to her because she has no children and she was abused as a child, so she is not a braggart, she is proud of her children.

Stephanie, meh...never impresses me.

It makes me nervous all those kids going crazy for books about teen sexual angst. I'm not sure if I would let my daughter read the series.

I totally agree, Izzy! I can't stand Oprah, she is so egotistical. UGHHHH! I refuse to watch her show no matter who is on it. So, I waited to see it online because Stephenie Meyer was on it and so I didn't give Oprah any extra ratings.

I really would have to disagree, Angela. No disrespect intended at all, but I see Oprah trying to buy love from her fans, and the response she gets gives her a high. Her past definitely would facilitate and encourage this king of attitude, but that doesn't mean it's healthy. Her narcissism has gone unchecked for a really long time and her power-lust is out of control. I find it very unattractive. It's really sad though, because her audience is preying on that vulnerability whether consciously or unconsciously. I wonder how long they'd hang around if they weren't getting free stuff every episode? Just a thought. Again, no disrespect intended.

If anyone deserves to be egotistical, then it's definitely Oprah. Though I don't think she was bragging. She was making a valid connection. That comment made the point that Twilight is EVERYWHERE.

And no shit they call her momma Oprah, a majority of the girls either don't have mums, or are always away from their mums because they never visit.

Yeah, Oprah's extremely confident, and it can come across as being arrogant. I mean after all that she's done, and the things she's said, I think I can overlook her self referencing sometimes. Tyra's kind of similar too. But I saw nothing really wrong with the interview. And Oprah has seriously changed people's lives.

I am just commenting in support of Stephanie Meyer's Mom. Go for it Mom! Convince Stephanie to finish Midnight Sun! (if that is what is happening) I would buy the book. I would love to read Edward's POV.

I would love it if they made Midgnight Sun the fifth movie! Then we could have a Twilight movie do-over. Maybe Chris can direct it!

I don't know anything about Oprah's past. As an Oprah-newbie, I was just expressing an opinion about THIS interview.
And I guess that Stephenie could also be partly responsible for the fact that it wasn't that exciting either, she doesn't seem as funny and unexpected as Rob...
