The 26-year-old actor, who presented during the show, attended the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards the night before with his Twilight co-stars. Pam started Pink for Pam, a non-profit organization fighting breast cancer after she survived the disease in her 30s. Donations can still be made online at www.su2c.org, via phone at 1-888-90-STAND (78263) or by texting STAND to 40202. One hundred percent of all public donations go directly to cancer research.

Robert Pattinson was just one of the many famous faces that attended the annual Stand Up to Cancer telecast held at LA's Shrine Auditorium tonight. The event aims to raise awareness and money for the fight against cancer as supporters can call in to donate at any point during the commercial free broadcast. Gwyneth Paltrow popped up in the philanthropy's signature tee while her husband Chris Martin was overseas rehearsing for his performance with Coldplay at the upcoming Paralympic closing ceremonies. Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake attended together while Modern Family's Sofia Vergara was on hand to take calls. Olympic swimmer Missy Franklin joined the charitable fun as did Seth Rogen and Minka Kelly. Stay tuned as more stars arrive to show their support and watch on ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, E!, HBO, Showtime, TBS or VH1 tonight at 8pm PST.

The ROBsessed/BagItTotes Scavenger Hunt is over and you guys are busy pulling together your answers to send to us. We'll post a recap for the questions later but in the meantime, we wanted to supply a "Rob is a giver" wallpaper that was requested during the ROBsessed Holiday Season and spread some awesome news from one of Rob's previous charities.

The wallpaper features Rob from his participation with Stand Up 2 Cancer, an autographed guitar that was auctioned for the Dio Cancer Fund and the Home Plate Project.

If you guys recall, the artwork displayed in the wallpaper is Rob's original artwork titled Unfinished City. Rob drew this piece on a home plate for the Home Plate Project of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Click HERE to relive what the Power of Rob brought to this charitable auction.

Tim and Cory from the Home Plate Project reached out to us recently in hopes of contacting Rob to participate in the 2013 Home Plate Project. They said Rob's contribution was amazing:

"[Rob's] impact, heavily aided by the support you provided us, was amazing. His fan base is passionate, you care tremendously about his causes and it showed big time."

Tim and Cory told us Rob's involvement ended up generating over $12,000 for the charity and their team won the first year of the Give Back league volunteer competition! This honor was announced at their holiday party in December and the whole team reflected on the great experience they had from Rob's lending hand and his impactful fan base.

While I would have rather enjoyed writing them back and saying, "Why yes, Tim and Cory! I can help you. Let me cc Nick in this email and we'll set up a lunch with Rob to discuss his next one-of-a-kind, home plate masterpiece," I had to instead wipe away a sad tear and explain that my connection with Rob is merely in my dreams. *sigh*

The silver lining is we do have this blog and well...this....



...so there's a slim chance we can help them out and get the message out there that Tim and Cory from the Home Plate Project of the Arizona Diamondbacks want you, Rob! Slim is better than nothing, right?

What do you guys think? Would you like to see Rob flex his Picasso muscles again and sketch another metropolis on the brink of completion? Maybe he'll finish the town with chimney'd roofs and plentiful greenery?

Sounds far-fetched, yes? Well, maybe not…
A set visit to Breaking Dawn is up for auction in eBay . Proceeds benefit Stand Up to Cancer, the organization that works to speed up the research and approval of cancer treatments.

We can't guarantee you'll actually hang with R.Pattz & K.Stew, but the package includes travel accommodations to the Vancouver set.

The auction is up and running now and the latest bid is at $6,300.00.

Also while reading the fine print of the auction RobPattzNews discovered when production moves to Vancouver from Louisiana :)

The experience will take place between February 1, 2011, and the end of March 2011, when the crew is filming on the Vancouver set.

We invite you guys to submit sweet words of awesome for Rob that we'll put together in a birthday tribute video for May 13th. Here's what you do:

1. Choose a picture or yourself that you'd like featured in the birthday tribute video. (HERE is the awesome post we did featuring all your messages a few years ago)
2. If you're picture shy, you can still participate. Pick a picture of Rob, artwork, a cave that looks like your personal DR dwelling *wink* and that can be your image.
3. Type a message on your image that you would like to share for Rob's birthday. If you need assistance, Kate and I are here to help. Just submit the message you'd like for Rob's birthday in the email and we'll add the message on your image for you.

Pattinson, who played Edward Cullen in the Twilight series, was on TIME magazine's list of 100 Most Influential People in the World. As a musician, he plays the guitar and sang "Never Think" and "Let Me Sign"; both songs were featured on the soundtrack for Twilight (Summit Entertainment, 2008). Proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund.
