Celebrity-Gossip.net says Nina Schubert is pining over Rob. Well, first love is hard to forget...Harder if he says he never fell in love before...

They probably just heard of Nina and are trying to spread gossip. So take it with a bucket of salt :)

Taking full advantage of a beautiful summer day in New York City, Robert Pattinson was spotted filming his new movie “Remember Me” in Central Park this morning (June 30).

The “Twilight” stud looked to be having a good time as he shot a few outdoor scenes, relaxing and chatting with crew and cast members in between takes.

In related news, it seems Robert used to have a thing for the girl next door - literally. The “New Moon” hunk used to date Nina Schubert, a girl who lived around the corner from him. And now that he’s famous, she’s pining over him.

An insider told press, “Nina hasn’t been able to get over Rob and shake the fact that she was his first love. Over the past year, it really hit her hard when she saw him get famous. She realizes that she had Rob all to herself, but now he seems to be the subject of every girl’s dreams and fantasies. She’s still trying to come to grips with what happened between them.”

“Even though Nina was modeling, she wasn’t famous. She and Rob were able to do the simple things most young couples do, like walk hand-in-hand in the park and go to movies. They got to know each other without the world watching. Nina and Rob continued to date as their careers took off. They moved in together in London and, for a time, they were the golden couple.”

"Rob is still a really good friend of mine. He's hopefully going to come here, if he can get a break from working. I gave him my paintings when we lived together in London. Now he's commissioned me to paint one for him and I'm working on it.

"I do really big abstract canvases, influenced by geometric patterns like chessboards and latticework, mainly black and white. I'm interested in optical illusions."

Robert Pattinson's ex girlfriend, Nina Schubert, mentioned Rob in a recent interview. I can't help but agree with her on the father bit and truly hope she's right on the writer bit.



Discussing her lovers:

Nina: Looking back on some of the guys that wanted to be with me, like this German guy, a beautiful guy. He was a bit geeky and a bit sort of, like 'do you want to share some duvet cover when we watch the movie?' - that kind of guy. And I was like, uckh no. I liked this Geordie guy on the other side of the room with his foot up in the air picking his toenails.

My ideal guys have been there, but when I didn’t realise it. I find myself attracted to people who might not be ideal for my personality. I love Jeff Bridges. When I go out with guys I always imagine them 30 years down their life. Like Peter, he’s going to be a great man. And like Rob, Rob will be a great dad. He's very talented. Eventually he’ll be a writer.

Interviewer: Really?

Nina: Yeah, he’ll write films and plays.

Interviewer: Not music?

Nina: Yeah that too, but he’ll write.

Q: It seems like Robert Pattinson is attempting to sabotage his own success by talking about his poor hygiene habits etc. Perhaps he is just being very honest, which is refreshing. However, I am curious about his sexual orientation. I have seen him with his friend Tom Sturridge, and they seem very close, but I get the feeling that he is being told by his agent and the Twilight machine not to "come out" since his fans are predominantly young females. Haven't we gotten past all that by now? – Eileen, Gainesville, Virginia

A: First, Pattinson is reportedly straight, having been romantically linked with Nina Schubert, Katie Leung, and Camilla Belle; Sturridge is merely his best friend. And actually, I believe him. Why? Because – as you say – he is so damn honest about everything else in his life.(Gozde: And LOOK at them! No gay man would be caught wearing those!:))

Still, the Flying Monkey also agrees with you about how he does come across as sort of resenting his sudden success, or at least the media frenzy surrounding it.

But honestly, who wouldn’t? I think it’s impossible to appreciate just how insane and invasive the scrutiny is at that level of fame. Pattinson plays the guitar (and sings two songs in Twilight, one of which he co-wrote), but he told the New York Times about how hurt he was by the negative reaction to an online clip of him doing an impromptu set at Los Angeles’ Whisky a Go Go.

“I was so not ready for the scrutiny,” he said. “I haven’t touched a guitar since. When you know you have to be good every time, you never want to do it again.”

Gozde: Could they find a worse picture of Rob? Well there is always this one :)

But the real issue here is Pattinson’s reps, who seem to have done a really crappy job of prepping him for stardom. It’s fine to feel overwhelmed and annoyed and even bitch about it to your friends, but it’s rarely a good idea to do this in public, as it often comes across as ungrateful. After all, celebrities always have the option of leaving their chosen field at any time – and all the “problems” of fame will soon fade away. But to date, despite decades of bitching celebrities, Greta Garbo is just about the only one to have actually done this.

Robert didn't change much since his Harry potter days, he is still shy. He started acting to meet more girls.

He wanted to be professional musician and his dream was to play a piano in a bar in South of France.

He's so obsessed with Van Morrison he wish he can play him in a movie.
