UPDATE: Added Kate's pick! Also a classic and she's just like me and Kat in one way :)

*sigh* I'll never forget how much I flailed when I saw Rob wearing a Long Beach State baseball cap back in 2009. It had a good run. Almost 2 years. The longest of any of Rob's baseball caps. GO BEACH! I love Kat's recent choice. ABOVE! Rob is definitely a cut above the rest and his hat makes us think of that. Kat and I also twinsies with the hat forward look!

Kat:
"I can’t really say I have a favourite… but I do prefer it facing forward. Oooerrr missus!"



Tink:
"always and forever. i chose this pic because the hat’s last known location was in Toronto for the Cosmopolis shoot. and he looks delicious."


Kate:
"I’m playing catch up ;-} Not quite sure I actually HAVE a fave Rob baseball cap BUT I’m quite partial to this one because I have one that is quite similar and i think I may have had it before he did ;-p"

Now we have the encounter story! From Mr. Will-W:

Cosmopolis continued into its third day of Filming here in Toronto, with one of my favourite Diners in Little Portugal providing the backdrop. The Production Crew, after taking measures to Paparazzi-proof their Set yesterday on Mercer St., took similar precautions again today in keeping Megastar Robert Pattinson's Trailer far from Filming. Fans waiting the entire day by the front of the Restaurant failed to see a glimpse even of him all day with him being ushered in and out through the back of the establishment.

After locating Pattinson's Trailer, I found a few devout and savvy Fans who had been waiting patiently the entire day in the area. Unfortunately they had failed to catch his attention as he went in and out of his Trailer. One Fan after growing tired of waiting, finally approached Pattinson's Handler Dean, asking if there was any remote possibility of obtaining an Autograph even. She however had been told by him, "Probably not - there's too many people around", shielding his attention-shy Client. In total there were six Fans in-waiting.

Around 8:00 PM a glimmer of hope appeared as Pattinson entered his Trailer again for one final wardrobe change for the day - a change back into his Everyday Wear: a Stussy T-shirt, his Long Beach 49ers Baseball Cap (Tink: Go Beach!) and a pair of Jeans. He officially had wrapped for the day after a long, grueling day in the Heatwave which has hit the City. After flagging him over, we were shocked to see Pattinson actually respond to us, coming over to personalize Photos and Magazines for us one-by-one in his best possible Penmanship.


Robsmacked, I asked "Is it at all possible to get a Group Photo?", to which Dean had interjected, "We don't have time...". Pattinson then overrode his Handler's objection, saying "Yes, I'll do a Group Photo!" , garnering an ecstatic response from us Fans. Some kind Onlookers in the neighbourhood offered to take our Photo before I extended my hand for a shake and he went off to greet a few other Fans. Those Ladies were told by Dean, "Stand back or he's not going to do it!" and willingly they obliged in their best behaviour.

This has been killing me. *enter delusional blogging* I've left messages for Nick about confirmation but we keep missing each other. *delusional blogging over*

Rob and his bottom lip were leaving the Cosmopolis set today and decided to sign some autographs for fans.






One fan got to take a group photo with Rob as well as the pics above. She asked him something that we all have been dying to know:



YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Rob said it. Someone will it so! Get this man a throne and escort him into the theater on the backs of golden lions! Have you been voting??? I truly hope so. ;)

The fan (aka my new best friend) also had some more sweet things to share about Rob:

• OMG I just got an autograph and picture with Rob!!!!!! nicest man ever!!!! (Tink: so true...)
  
• he only had time for one group picture...he was so sweet!! (Tink: so right...)
  
• Dean said he didn't have time for photos, but Rob said he had time for one! SO SWEET!! So we took a group picture! (Tink: what an angel...)
  
• we apologized for bothering him and he kept saying "no problem, it's okay" (Tink: what a giver...)
  
• that's what Rob said and I hope it's true! b/c things can change (Tink: The holy one has spoken. It MUST be done.)
  
• he is soooo nice and really skinny! but not as tall as i thought he would be (Tink: debatable ;-))
• Rob actually took his time with each autograph and asked for our names!! very sweet
• Rob putting down his bag to sign for fans!

So sweet. He wants us to love him til the day we die. I'm convinced. ;)

Gotta love him. He's great to his fans. Today, while leaving the set, Rob signed autographs and our reader, Yukkei, shared her account and pictures.

My friend and I waited almost 5 hours but it paid off! Caitlin was very nice and she gave us bottles of water because it was so hot outside. David was also very nice and took pictures with us. Rob was going in and out of his trailer to set but after they wrapped shooting, there were only about 6 of us and Rob agreed to come out and sign autographs but no pictures. He was very sweet and so beautiful in real life! Both Rob and David said filming was going really well... day 4 of a 40 day shoot.

So sweet :)






*sigh* The hat....oh the hat...
