8 Things That Are Bugging Me About Robert Pattinson

Times of the internet gossip blogger(?) Lupe Lasano wrote this about Rob and I think it's hilarious!

Robert Pattinson this, Robert Pattinson that. You can't leave your house anymore without being assaulted by Robert Pattinson. The name haunts me worse than any tween vampire ever could. Robert Pattinson is all anyone cares about. He's like Brangelina, only stronger, because there's only one of him. That's right. Robert Pattinson is a Hollywood Power Couple all by himself. Let me articulate what's getting on my nerves about Robert Pattinson.

8) Nobody is this humble! This guy has to have an ego or he wouldn't even be able to leave the house in the morning. Personally, I know people who work the graveyard shift at the local gas station and think they're something special. Here's a guy in one of the hottest movies around and he refuses to talk himself up.

7) He doesn't have a girlfriend. He's 22 and he's not tied into a relationship. He doesn't have a ball or a chain he has to answer to at the end of a long day of filming. What nerve.

6) He's nice to fans. This guy is nice to his fans, a rare trait if ever there was one. I prefer surly, anti-social celebrities. They're easier to hate on.

5) He's had it too easy in Hollywood. Where's all the "paying of dues" actors need to go through in order to become this famous? Pattinson just walked into Tinsel Town one day and they handed him the keys to the place.

4) He doesn't get involved in unnecessary drama. He has no bitter custody case going on. He isn't under arrest for DUI. Compared to Shia LaBeouf this cat is unnatural.

3) Girls love him just a bit too much. RPattz is to girls what spinach was to Popeye. Women go crazy at the sight of Big Rob.

2) He's not going away any time soon. Right now Pattinson can do no wrong. Everybody wants him in their next movie so he can afford to be selective and choose whatever project he wants. We'll all have to deal with him for years!

1) His new haircut. He's supposed to have long vampire hair. Now he looks like a Young Republican.

I know some of you will say "You live in a Free World, if you choose to, you can ignore Robert Pattinson." Uh, no I can't. It's not in the cards. Sure I'd love to be a Robert Pattinson hater, but it just doesn't seem to be in the cards. So far the guy has managed to keep his overall image so positive, there aren't any chinks in his armor.

Camilla Belle yaps about Robbert Pattinson's non-media training

According to people.com:

Was there more to Twilight than meets the eye? Camilla Belle certainly thinks so.

Belle says that Robert Pattinson, who portrayed the sexy vampire lead in the hit film opened up to her about the stresses of required "media training."

"My friend Rob, for that whole Twilight nonsense, the studio was having them take all these classes," the 22-year-old actress tells Nylon magazine in its February issue. "It was the most frustrating thing in the world because they want you to speak like someone else, not yourself. It's so silly. And I would be frustrated, too." (Gozde: yeah we all LOVE Rob for being so NOT media trained but it is not your place to talk about it! Sorry this just irked me)(I had to update this post because Access Hollywood made this comment about Camilla's yapping : We’re betting if she had been cast in the massively successful vampire series, she would have been sitting front and center in class. Haha, exactly!)

The outspoken actress also has a strong opinion about the action film 10,000 BC, which she starred in last year and felt wasn't enough of an acting challenge. "I felt like a puppet … You have to approach it [as], 'This isn't an acting piece, it's a business choice." (Gozde: yeah the movie sucked and Camille's acting reminded me of a fish with really well trimmed eyebrows)

As for her next director, Bruce Willis, in the upcoming Three Stories About Joan, she tells the magazine, "I was really surprised. He's very passionate about the actors."

In addition to her blossoming movie career – she's also in PUSH and When a Stranger Calls – Belle says she's got a place in Columbia's freshman class when she's ready to go. "I made the decision to focus on work, and take advantage of this time. But school is there, and I think the most important thing is to continue learning."

Just as long as there's no brainwashing.

Sam Bradley gave an interview to Vamp radio. He talks about how Rob never sings the same song the same way again, about wanting to collaborate with him for his album and how hectic his life has become:





And lastly Kristen talked to MTV about New Moon at Sundance and this is what she said about Rob, how he handles the craziness that surrounds him:

And although she may be with Jacob for much of the upcoming film, Bella could never forget her Edward. So, appropriately enough, the famous-since-she-was-12 actress was also eager to heap some praise on Robert Pattinson — who has spent the past three months dealing with an onslaught of paparazzi, wild fans and rapidly increasing fame unlike anything Hollywood has seen in quite some time.

"I think he's OK," KStew said of RPattz. "He's back in London now, which makes it easier for him. It's funny. It only affects you when you come to something like [Sundance]. And then, other than that, he's totally the same guy he always was."

Robert Pattinson is a loner

From the oh so reputable Life & Style:

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson has lots of adoring fans, but finding that one real-life leading lady is proving to be more elusive for him. "No one seems to get into a relationship with me," admits Robert, whose character, vampire Edward Cullen, is often described as the ideal man. "I'm a loner." (Awwww!)

Indeed, "he's really quiet," Rob's Twilight castmate Sarah Clarke, who plays Renee Dwyer, confirmed to Life & Style at the Diamond Information Center and InStyle's pre-Golden Globes luncheon in LA on Jan. 8.

But another co-star, Ashley Greene (who plays Edward's sister, Alice), claims it just takes a while for Rob to warm up to others. "Once you get to know him, he's really outgoing and fun," Ashley tells Life & Style. "He's a sweet guy, but he's different."

Mädchen Interview

Pattinson Online has the translation of the Mädchen interview with Robert Pattinson. You can read the whole thing on their site. Here are some parts:

Mädchen: Are you romantic?
ROB: When I was fifteen I had a date with a girl at the zoo. But we didn’t
have enough money to pay the entrance. So we ran along the fence of the
zoo on the outside. It was raining and we didn’t have an umbrella with us,
I think that was romantic. (Gozde: Ya think? I can litterally hear y'all sigh:))

Mädchen: What does trust mean to you?
ROB: If you tell a friend something about you no one else should know and he really doesn’t tell it to anybody it’s a good feeling. Then you know that you know this person well. There are not many people who keep secrets.

Mädchen: Do you believe in love on the first bite?
ROB: Yes, I do. It’s absolutely possible that you meet somebody in the streets and you suddenly fall in love with this person. That often happens to me (laughs). (Gozde: Way to encourage stalkers Rob! They will keep bumping into you from now on :)

Mädchen: What do you do to be polite during a date?
ROB: I don’t question the girl and don’t tell her how she has to be for me. I don’t want her to corrupt herself for me! (Gozde: Oh honey, We might corrupt YOU :)

Mädchen: What else is important for you?
ROB: I like talented girls. If she’s really talented I don’t really care about the other things. (Gozde: Quick! Go get some talent!)

Mädchen: Do you believe in something like soulmates?
ROB: I don’t know if you can have a soulmate, but sometimes you meet
someone and you know they’ll always be with you- for the rest of your
life. (Gozde: My uterus just skipped a beat)

Mädchen: Can love be boundless?
ROB: Yes, I think so. When you really love somebody something like rich
and poor or bad and good doesn’t matter.

Mädchen: How does it feel when girls ask you to bite them?
ROB: I don’t think that they know what they’re saying. If somebody would
bite me I think I’d hit him. (laughs) (Gozde: Oh, they all KNOW what they are asking!)
