What is it about Robert Pattinson that makes him slightly annoying? Despite his 18-carat movie-star status built on his vampire role in the "Twilight" series, despite the rumor that he's slated as the next Brad Pitt (er, really?) and has the lanky, boyish charm to back it up, Pattinson remains several notches below Total Heartthrob status.Yeah. Critics sometimes can't help themselves with the little digs but the "excellent" remark made me beam and go "HA! You'll eat your words soon enough, bitter critics!" It might take baby steps for some but WFE was the step for this snarky reviewer.
My guess is that this brooding lad fairly oozes with first-world angst (relationship problems, identity problems, anger at the high price of organic chicken, etc.), which, at this point in history, kind of tests your patience. I mean, what's he got to complain about?
So "Water for Elephants comes as a surprise, because Pattinson in the lead role is, to put it bluntly, excellent. Director Francis Lawrence ("I am Legend") deploys Pattinson's particular privileged-but-unhappy aura to full advantage, and the movie reaps heaps of benefits from his skittishness, his subtle note of unreliability and that calculated lopsided grin. Plus, he takes a punch in the face, which is more than a little gratifying to witness. Win-win, all round.

47:00 - How was to play Rob's love interest in Water for Elephants and his mother in Vanity Fair? "Totally weird".
Their [Rob & Kristen] Breaking Dawn co-star Daniel Cudmore, who plays Felix in the series, chatted with Ology about the two and how their relationship was handled on set. He was pretty reluctant at first but after hearing that the romance was finally confirmed he gave us a bit more detail.Booboo Stewart's interview with ReviewsSTL (excerpted):
"Yeah, they--did they come out about that? I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. It's funny because I think the whole time everyone--it doesn't matter who you are and where you are--when you see two people together you know," Cudmore said. "You could just tell whether or not they are in a relationship. But you know at the same time like it's not really any of our business to pry or poke and at the same time they just kept it very professional. So--and then obviously they are trying to hide it from everybody else."
Trying to hide a high-profile relationship from the public can be a struggle for any couple. So as Cudmore agrees, filming such a phenomenon like Breaking Dawn in Vancouver helped the cast stay grounded and ultimately helped in keeping the paparazzi away. "That's the tough thing, and I give kudos to the people on the top positions, because all of the things that they have to deal with on top of just trying to deliver on set every day and be the face of a franchise. I mean I couldn't imagine the pressure that they were going through with everything else on the side."
He also noted that during the filming of Eclipse, he never actually worked with some of the stars, including Robert Pattinson. “We were together in a scene, but I was a wolf, so I was never there. So this whole time, I filmed the movie, and we’re doing press for it, and I still haven’t met him, and then finally, we were at the Kids’ Choice awards (Tink: Has to be the Teen Choice Awards since Rob wasn't at the Kids Choice Awards), and I got to shake his hands for a second.” He did note that once they started filming Breaking Dawn, he got to hang out with Robert, and said he was a really nice guy.Reese: Source | Daniel: Source | Booboo: Source
