Robert Pattinson is one of the most recognizable actors in recent history for playing iconic roles like Edward Cullen and Jacob from “Water for Elephants.” However, TV Guide Network wants you to see Robert Pattinson as you have never seen him before, as a boy named Daniel, who spends a lot of time with his crush, Charlotte, who just learned she is pregnant. Daniel helps Charlotte with her pregnancy struggles and finds himself on a memorable 9-month journey with three independent, outspoken women. Through the tears, laughter and love, this dysfunctional family finds a way to stick it out together.
Watch The Bad Mother's Handbook Saturday, May 21st at 7pm on TV Guide Network.
“I think Robert has been very clever in the way that he has tried to branch out and do lots of other different things,” Michael says. “Rob has been trying to do that while he’s been doing the Twilight series and all but I think it’s going to take a long time. I think he’ll always be Edward [Cullen] for a whole generation or maybe a few generations of people and it will be difficult to get away from that. But he seems to have a good head on his shoulders.”
“Rob is one of the biggest stars in the world now because of the Twilight series and that can be a good thing or a bad thing,” Michael says. “It’s like when people have played James Bond and you get so associated with one character it means you have a huge audience and there’s a lot of people very interested. But at the same time it might put certain people off casting you as other characters.”
Humph. I guess, Mr. Sheen. Technically speaking, this does happen but we think Rob is making the right moves and those moves will benefit his career goals. Water for Elephants was well received by audiences. I found a lot of people commenting on how surprised they were with Rob's performance and the absence of Edward from their minds.

With the end of the Twilight franchise in sight, Pattinson is preparing himself for a post-vampire career. The romance Remember Me earned only $56 million but that's not bad considering the film had a tiny budget of $16 million. Water for Elephants, costarring Reese Witherspoon, also performed decently at the box office proving that audiences are willing to accept Pattinson as more than an undead heartthrob.
Speaking at Cannes Film Festival, [Law] told the Daily Mail: "I can't play the dashing young blade in films anymore; those parts don't come to me."

"If I have a look around at the moment I feel great relief because finally others are entering the limelight. Men like Robert Pattinson must now play the Adonis. (Tink: I feel like we should chisel this statement in stone.) For me it was always a restraint, a restriction."
