"SNL" creator Lorne Michaels told OK! Magazine that he's all on board getting the "Twilight" star to host the show.
“We asked him this season,” Michaels told the magazine. “And then he did Jimmy’s show and that went well for him."
Last year, he told the same magazine he wasn't sure if Pattinson would make a good host. "You never know," he told the magazine.

As for Bella, she doesn’t know anymore who she loves. Since 2008, when the first film was released, the Twilight stars can’t walk out as they want otherwise they can trigger off a riot. Robert Pattinson is the favourite target of the paparazzi. Outside shooting are becoming more and more painful. Robert is shooting a new film, Bel Ami , in Hungary. It’s a new romantic drama. Let's look at the case at hand. Our "journalist" friend gives a perfect example. He/she is talking about shoes but very SUBTLY slips in "their engagement" in there! Very sneaky and smart huh? Yeah, I didn't think so either...

Summary of cute/funny fan encounter with Rob in Budapest: two girls saw Rob walking down the street with his bodyguards so they went up to him with a "hi Rob!" and the girl says that when he looked at her she forgot everything she knew in English and all she could get out was "autograph and photos" :D Rob smiled and said "sure". So the girl's friend got out her Twilight dvd (which they had with them in case they ran into him while he was here) Rob laughed when he saw it and said "what the hell?" Then there's a whole long bit where the girl couldn't find her pen, and during this time Rob attempted to pronounce the Hungarian word for Twilight (Alkonyat). The girl told her friend to hold the dvd (fogd már meg!) and Rob also tried to repeat this too :D When the girl still couldn't find her pen, Rob reached into his jacket and took out his own pen, only to find that it had run out, so he took out another one but that one didn't work either (lol) so he tried to carve the autograph onto the paper and ended up ripping it. The girl finally managed to find her pen and gave it to him. Rob took it between his teeth to take the lid off and signed the girls' dvds. Then when they were going to take a photo, Rob leaned down and looked at the girl's shoes, grinned and said "we have the same shoes" and they both laughed. Both the girl and her friend took photos with him,thanked him, he said to them "nice to see you" then repeated "see you" again to which the girls said bye and he left.

Twilight Eclipse opens in June. But the film isn’t ready yet.
Multiple sources have confirmed to me that some key scenes need to be reshot including footage between “Bella” and “Edward” in the meadow and a few fight sequences. They’ve been waiting for weeks to confirm dates but have had to work around Robert Pattinson’s schedule. Originally they needed 7 days but now, due to his other commitments, it’s been proposed that they work for 3 days with the crew putting in 18 hours each day. This should happen in Vancouver in the next few weeks.
What’s more interesting is WHO would actually direct the reshoot. David Slade is the director for Eclipse. But I’m told that apparently David Slade’s relationship with Summit has been... not great. Creative differences. At one point things had supposedly deteriorated to the point that they were actually considering hiring someone else to reshoot in Vancouver. Some of the names tossed around? Chris Weitz and Catherine Hardwicke. Hardwicke is in Vancouver working on another new film to go in the summer. They’re looking at delaying that project and Hardwicke has been spotted undercover checking out studio and location space for the Eclipse reshoot.
Having said that, Slade and Summit are now communicating on better terms. And there is still a good possibility he could come back to Vancouver to complete his film. As of Monday, no final decision about a director had been made. Will keep you posted.

From a 'Pirates' role to his reported pregnancy (!), the 'Twilight' star has been at the center of a few tall tales.
Why so serious Rob? Fed up of the rumors?
When somebody is impossibly good-looking, simply placing a picture of them on your magazine/ Web site/ tabloid can get a huge audience to pay attention. If the person is one of the biggest movie stars in the world, an outrageous story about them can capture countless eyeballs. And if they happen to be both, well, all the better.
Over the past 22 months or so, Robert Pattinson has rocketed from obscurity to omnipresence. He's also dealt with a ton of ridiculous rumors. Now, hot on the heels of reports that RPattz was going to play Kurt Cobain in a feature film, we look back on the 10 dumbest (and utterly untrue) Robert Pattinson rumors:
Rob's Nirvana?: The Sun is a British tabloid that seems to specialize in stories about how Megan Fox is going to play Catwoman. Their latest "scoop," however, was a real doozy — Rob was in regular contact with Courtney Love and had landed the role of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in a biopic. The rumor got a bit of traction, particularly because of RPattz's well-documented love of music, but ultimately the Sun story was dismissed by Love's reps, leaving the tabloid to offer all apologies.
Rob Is Preggers: It would be one thing to suggest that whomever RPattz is supposed to be dating this week is pregnant. But an Australian tabloid once reported that a little Rob was on the way and — get this — he was the one who was going to give birth to it! Perhaps the editors have been watching too many bad early '90s Arnold Schwarzenegger comedies lately, but the report was so ridiculous that even Rob himself singled it out as the craziest rumor he had ever heard about himself. We're no doctors, but six months have passed since the "news" broke, and since Rob's not showing yet, we're thinking it's safe to call this one bogus.
Rob Is a Pirate: Yo ho ho and a bottle of bull. That's what rumors of RPattz playing Jack Sparrow's brother in "Pirates of the Caribbean 4" turned out to be, after reports had him battling Zac Efron and Russell Brand (!?) for the role. Somebody needs to make whoever started that rumor walk the plank.
OME! Rob Is Engaged!: Have you sent RPattz an engagement gift yet? Because he got engaged last August. And then again in September, March and apparently Tuesday (April 13) as well. If you haven't sent a gift yet, don't worry: We're sure he'll get engaged two or three more times this week.
Rob Is Dating Everyone: Twilighters would love nothing more than if Rob were actually involved with Kristen Stewart. "Lost" fans would dig it if he ended up with Emilie de Ravin. Somebody out there must want him to date Megan Fox, Nikki Reed, Camilla Belle and Erika Dutra, whoever that is. There was even a rumor out there that he was dating Katy Perry — which would be a good way at getting Russell Brand back for stealing away his "Pirates 4" role. Through it all, Rob has denied dating any of them — so let's give the dude some space, OK, guys?
Rob Is Deaf: After RPattz made some tongue-in-cheek comments about how loud it was whenever he went out in public, some outlets decided to twist his words into an admission that he was actually deaf. Isn't it tragic that his fans have screamed at him so much that he'll have to film the "Breaking Dawn" movies using sign language? MTV News can confirm that we've interviewed him numerous times, and either his hearing is fine or he's the most amazing lip-reader in the world.
Rob Is Gay: Apparently, when Rob isn't dating every actress in Hollywood, he's busy dating every actor as well. Some outlets recently twisted an interview with one of Rob's friends to make it sound like something far more than friendship. Not that there would be anything wrong with it, but such a rumor seems as bogus as it is sad that someone would write it.
Rob Is Bond: At the "Remember Me" premiere in London, RPattz was asked if he'd like to play James Bond. What British actor wouldn't? Of course, when he said he would, certain sites reported it as fact. Such silliness can only leave his fans shaken and more than a bit stirred.
Rob Is an American Idol: A few months ago, the Web went wild with reports that Simon Cowell had approached Rob with a record deal. As much as some Twilighters would like it to happen, the reports turned out to be bogus (shocking!), so don't be looking for Rob on Cowell's hit show anytime soon.
Rob Stinks: Another RPattz rumor as suspicious as it was sad, last March an "unidentified source" was reported as saying that Rob's co-stars on "New Moon" thought he smelled bad. We've interviewed Rob numerous times and sniffed nothing more than charm and charisma — so, like many other RPattz rumors, it's the report itself that stunk.

Pretty boy “Twilight” star (Kate: Ok don't start with this pretty boy stuff or I'll have to get nasty) Robert Pattinson got a little roughed up by the film critics for his movie “Remember Me,” with Emilie de Ravin. But Rob may be getting the last laugh now that the box office numbers are rolling in. (Kate: Whoo hoo. Go Rob, Go Rob)
“Remember Me,” about a troubled youth attempting to deal with tragedy, is slowly working its way around the world, opening in such far flung country as Argentina and Australia.
So far, the film has grossed $45.7 million at the box office, which obviously isn’t anything close to 3-D blockbuster “Avatar’s” billion dollar plus take. But “Remember Me” only cost $16 million to bring to the big screen.
Experts predict the film could do as much as $60 million worldwide, when all is said and done. In relative terms, that makes it a box office success, (Kate: YAY) especially for a film that received lackluster reviews, mainly for the plot.
Rob felt a special connection to the film and felt it was something that had to be made. But the shear force of his popularity is probably driving the numbers.
Pattinson stars as Tyler Hawkins, who lives in posh Manhattan but is estranged from his successful father (Pierce Brosnan). Tyler is alienated and resentful, but he soon finds someone he can relate to. (Emilie de Ravin).
The film also includes Lena Olin, Ruby Jerins, Chris Cooper and Tate Ellington. “Remember Me” was directed by Allen Coulter from a screenplay by Will Fetters, and they are getting most of the bad press.
In its worldwide trek, the film opened in Argentina, France and other European countries this past weekend, and was a hit in Paris. It came in at No. 6 in the City of Light, which is not bad for an American film.
The drama’s international weekend take was $4.7 million at 2,302 screens in 36 territories, bringing its international box office to $27 million.
The film made back its money before even going overseas. So far it has grossed $18.7 million in North America, bringing the total to $45.7 million.
The film’s top foreign markets before last weekend’s openings were surprisingly Russia ($3.15m), Italy, ($2.35m), Germanyn ($1.9m), Brazil, ($1.71) the UK/Ireland ($1.5m) (Kate: Whoo hoo!!! Sorry :-}) and Australia ($1.21m).
Going foward, the film will open in several other countries, from Chile in South America to Turkey. (Kate: Yay Goz, you'll finally get to see it)
And it has yet to open in several top Asian markets, such as China, Japan, and South Korea.
All in all, not a bad showing for a small indie film, and Rob’s first outing as a lead in a movie outside of the “Twilight” series — and without Kristen Stewart.

The film also includes Lena Olin, Ruby Jerins, Chris Cooper and Tate Ellington. “Remember Me” was directed by Allen Coulter from a screenplay by Will Fetters, and they are getting most of the bad press.
In its worldwide trek, the film opened in Argentina, France and other European countries this past weekend, and was a hit in Paris. It came in at No. 6 in the City of Light, which is not bad for an American film.
The drama’s international weekend take was $4.7 million at 2,302 screens in 36 territories, bringing its international box office to $27 million.
The film made back its money before even going overseas. So far it has grossed $18.7 million in North America, bringing the total to $45.7 million.
The film’s top foreign markets before last weekend’s openings were surprisingly Russia ($3.15m), Italy, ($2.35m), Germanyn ($1.9m), Brazil, ($1.71) the UK/Ireland ($1.5m) (Kate: Whoo hoo!!! Sorry :-}) and Australia ($1.21m).
Going foward, the film will open in several other countries, from Chile in South America to Turkey. (Kate: Yay Goz, you'll finally get to see it)
And it has yet to open in several top Asian markets, such as China, Japan, and South Korea.
All in all, not a bad showing for a small indie film, and Rob’s first outing as a lead in a movie outside of the “Twilight” series — and without Kristen Stewart.
Rob will be back in vampire form, in June when the latest “Twilight” installment “Eclipse” is released.

Q: Which characteristics do you have in common with your character Edward?

BYRNE: You co-star with Robert Pattinson in Remember Me and with Carey Mulligan in The Greatest, both hot young stars. Coincidence, or are you keen to get down with the kids?
BROSNAN: I think both Robert and Carey are exceptional when it comes to young actors, in that they’re more than just pin-ups or flavours of the month. You can sense in both of them a strong desire to do good work. I don’t think either one is trying to get by on their looks; they’re both looking for work that’s a little more challenging than that. And it’s always a wonderful feeling, being around people who are completely in love with what they’re doing.
BYRNE: Having lived with fame for quite some time now, did you have any advice for the beleaguered young Robert when it came to dealing with all those screaming teens?
BROSNAN: I think Robert knows that there’s very little he can do right now except put the head down and work. It’s not exactly fun, having that kind of crazed attention. It might be flattering at first, but the novelty soon wears off.

ROBERT PATTINSON's best friend TOM STURRIDGE has the TWILIGHT star to thank for his latest movie role - the newcomer persuaded the film's producers to let him audition after seeing a script they sent to his pal.
Actor Sturridge has landed a role in upcoming picture Waiting For Forever opposite Rachel Bilson, but movie bosses originally wanted Pattinson to star in the romantic tale.
Sturridge reveals he found the discarded script on the floor while he was staying at his friend's apartment and he was convinced he could play the part better than the Brit superstar - so he rang his agent and begged for an audition.
He tells the New York Daily News, "I saw the script on the floor of Rob's apartment when I was staying on his sofa. I thought to myself, 'I could do this better than he could,' so I called up my agent the next morning .. They were kind enough to let me audition and apparently they saw something in me." The movie's producer Trevor Albert reveals he was shocked to hear from Sturridge, because he couldn't understand how the actor knew about the movie. He adds, "We got a call from his agent who told us Tom loved the script, and we were like, 'We don't remember sending him one.' Finally, we were worn down and just said, 'All right, let's let him come in.'"

We unveiled the mystery around the lovers, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson! The world famous pair left Budapest at Sunday late afternoon, after the The shooting of the Bel Ami was finished. Robert wore a baseball cap and his girlfriend was listening music as they were walking to the Budapest airport. The girl wanted to celebrate her 2öth birthday with his boyfriend, that's why she traveled to Budapest. Couple of minuted later Uma Thurman's car pulled in, she was wearing a pair of sunglasses, and was little apathetic as she walked to check-in area with his bodyguard. She didn't stop to sign an autograph.
Then Rob's car arrived without Robert Pattinson at Saturday morning to Tihany. The actor and his girlfriend have been "smuggled in" with an other cart to the closed shooting scene. No recording was allowed at all, and the trees was covered the garden of the Horty Mansion. But we were able to approach the shooting scene on a motorboat. When we arrived the shooting already began at the mansion's entrance. But the whole security run to the bank after a couple of seconds.
The camera is clicking. We could only see the Hungarian double in the chariot. The teens idol was still sitting in his trailer with his sweetheart.
Apparently the pair and Uma Thurman stayed in this hotel at Balaton at the weekend during break between the shooting in Tihany.
