Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on Harper's Bazaar Cover

I love

From Harper's Bazaar :

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart's Wild Ride

With Twilight, the young actors found themselves thrust into the spotlight. Now, while their characters are torn apart in New Moon, they couldn't be closer. For more, see pictures from their cover shoot and video with a sneak peek at New Moon. Plus, 11 things you didn't know about Rob & Kristen.

By Laura Brown

Rob Pattinson's and Kristen Stewart's rooms sit side by side on the thirtysomethingth floor of the Sheraton hotel in Vancouver ("the Couve," as Kristen calls it), where they are filming Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight saga. They spend a lot of time in their rooms in the sky -- two Rapunzels of sorts entertaining themselves behind closed doors -- because it's really, really hard to go out. "There are like 15 different exits in this place," observes Kristen of the tactics she and the rest of the Twilight cast use to avoid the paparazzi. She adds, "Rob is more frustrated with it, but he's 23 and I'm 19. He had a couple more years to be an adult and to be independent, whereas just as I was getting to the age when it's normal to go out by yourself ..." She pauses. "But it's boring because this is all I fucking talk about."

Rob talks about it too. "Do you mind if we sit outside?" he asks as he stands in his hotel room, looking longingly out the window. "I need some air." It's a cold, gray day, but who is to deny him some freedom? (And chivalry is not dead, girls. A young man will still lend you his jacket. Maybe because he is British.) Rob doesn't just face paparazzi, he gets clawing, shrieking girls too. New Yorkers may remember he was clipped by a cab while fleeing from the ladies on the set of Remember Me this past summer. "But at least that's an experience, something new," he says. "If it's just screaming -- and I know this sounds so ridiculous -- that gets old. But sometimes when there's literal chaos, it's like being in a war zone, and that's kind of exciting. You're just running through the crowd of people chasing after you and no one knows what's going on." Rob has laid low for a few days -- a disturbance in the Force so great that Perez Hilton (home of some of Rob's 15,200,000 Google hits) felt compelled to post, "Where is R-Patz?!" "If I'm not out, I've had a heroin overdose," Rob observes. "It's one thing or another."

At the moment, there is only one thing anyone cares about regarding these two, who, as Twilight's Bella and Edward, manifest all of our vampiric romance fetishes: Are they dating or what? Well ... it's clear that Rob and Kristen are close -- very close. Okay, who is the most romantic then? "I have a no-bullshit detector," says Kristen, "so I'd have to say Rob is. I think romance is anything honest. As long as it's honest, it's so disarming." Rob chuckles when asked the same question. "Um, I don't know. What did Kristen say?" You. "No. I'm better at faking." This is followed by a very long laugh.

The two first met at the 2007 auditions for Twilight, what they both assumed was going to be a cult vampire movie -- not a $380-million-grossing global phenomenon complete with their own Barbies. They were thrown into a bedroom scene -- well, a scene in a bedroom, anyway. "It wasn't like we had to lie down together," Kristen says, "but we were very reactive. We had a very responsive, palpable thing." Robert notoriously took half a Valium beforehand. "I was calm and collected, and then we do this thing where we're pretty much making out. I've since tried to do it at another audition, but it completely just collapsed." He adds, "Kristen was very different from how I expected the girl who played Bella would be. I was kind of intimidated."

Even though she was born and bred in chillaxed Los Angeles, Kristen is an intense young lady -- and the shock of unruly black hair she currently has (a legacy from her role as Joan Jett in the upcoming The Runaways) does nothing to dispel that perception. Some Twilight fans were upset about their Bella turning into a noir-haired badass, but rest assured she'll be wearing a wig in Eclipse. "I think it's ridiculous that you need to look a certain way to be conventionally pretty," she declares, then smiles, "but now that my hair's grown out and shaggy, it sort of looks a little funny. I'll admit that." Kristen swears like a sailor and feels everything 200 percent. "She's a unique girl," says Rob simply. "You really don't meet many people like Kristen."

Today, in the hotel's Constellation Suite, Kristen is sitting on the concrete terrace in her uniform of jeans, a white tank under another tie-dyed one, and a hoodie. "I'm like, fuck, I'm not wearing a neon-colored tube top or something pink," she says, putting her at odds with many in her red-carpet, The Hills-ian peer group. Ask her who made her top and she has no idea. A look at the tag, though, reveals something called Born Famous Couture. She looks mortified, then cackles. "I did not buy this, I promise."

Of the two, it seems Kristen wears the pants. (While she will admit to one girlish thing, a love of Chanel, her dream outfit is a custom Brooks Brothers suit.) When she ventures into a dress, it might just be covered in metal, like the Rock & Republic mini she wore to the Teen Choice Awards earlier this year. "Everyone was like, 'Look at your spiky skirt!'" she says with a grin, "and I was like, 'Spiky skirt? They were bullets, mofo!'" She gets some stick in the media for not suffering fools. "People think I'm trying to be rebellious, but that's the last thing I'm doing," she says. "But I would hate myself if I tried to satisfy the people who have a problem with the way I speak about myself, so it's okay."

"Kristen doesn't take any slack," Rob says. "She sticks to her guns -- and that's difficult to do." He also thinks she's a better actor than he is. "I don't really know how to act. I'm kind of guessing everything. ... Even though I can conceptualize stuff, she can actually do it. I can make something so complex and then be like, That was pout 27." He reckons she's a better judge of character too. "She'll decide on someone a lot quicker. She has a lot more self-esteem than I do, so she's like, 'You're an idiot and I don't want to talk to you,' and I'm like, 'I'm an idiot too!' So I'll talk to an idiot for like three days before deciding."

That handicap aside, Rob is gloriously handsome. The planes of his face work beautifully in 3-D, 2-D, probably 1-D too. But in person, he doesn't have a whole lot of game. He is self-deprecating to a fault. (During the interview, he refers to himself as an idiot a half dozen times.) He also maintains, in all seriousness, that he's never broken up with a girl; they've always broken up with him. "Eventually, the girl is like, 'I know it's got nothing to do with me. You're an?...?idiot.'"

Read the rest over at Harper's Bazaar :)

Who spends more time on their hair?

Kristen: "Rob."

Rob: "I have weird personal-space issues, and so I can't stand people -- um, I'll do anything to not have any touch-ups."

Competitive?

Kristen: "Rob. In a very childish way, in every aspect of his life. He'll literally start talking in a different voice if he's won something. He sounds like a five-year-old."

Rob: "I'd say it was even. She said me? Really? When I really win things, it's just like..." [Kristen is correct: He makes a noise like a five-year-old.]

Athletic?

Kristen: "I'm definitely claiming that one. Rob can barely jump rope. I call him Flippy because when he does his stunt rehearsals, he flips around [makes a gesture like a penguin]. And, God, when he tries to run ..."

Rob: "Kristen. You notice it in the film; she looks so much more athletic than I do. And I'm supposed to be the superhero."

Egotistical?

Kristen: "I'd have to say him. I hope he says him too actually. Like every time he looks in the mirror and he twists his hair. Actually, he could give a fuck about his hair. I hope that sarcasm translates."

Rob: "It's kind of a tie. We're both pretty proud people. Her ego is more solid than mine, but mine has soared to such peaks, it's ridiculous. Mine's more erratic, but it can get to a point when it's, like, godlike. Only in my eyes, of course. Sometimes just when I say hello the right way, I'm like, Whoa, I'm so cool."

Who Googles themselves more?

Kristen: "Rob."

Rob: "She would say me, but I reckon it's her. If either one of us catches the other one doing it, we're like, Jesus Christ, is that what you're looking at? And the other one's on their phone pretending to text. I look up my competition more than she does. I'm incredibly shallow. I think she just looks at herself."

Who's the better musician?

Kristen: "Rob. He's a great singer. Heartbreaking."

The most outgoing?

Rob: "I was once, but not so much anymore. Kristen's a little more open now."

Better sport?

Kristen: "Who can hang? Definitely me. He's very sensitive. He's got a fragile ego."

Superstitious?

Kristen: "Rob. He's a little bit more paranoid, so that feeds into superstition more."

Rob: "I am. I believe a lot in karma and stuff. Like when I end up with egg on my face, I'm like, Fate! I was born doomed. But I think it's more being an idiot than superstitious."

But perhaps it pays to be a little paranoid. Whatever it takes for Rob and Kristen to live their hothouse lives as normally as they can -- until the November 20 opening of New Moon, anyway. In the interim, CNN will report whenever Rob gets a haircut (it already has), and girls will get mad at Kristen for not wearing pink tube tops and taking their dream man away. They both fantasize about what they would do if nobody could see them. "I'd like to say something noble," Rob says, fiddling with his hair, "but I'd probably spy on people to hear what they think of me -- and then hate them for it afterward." Kristen is, as ever, a little blunter: "I'd go for a walk."

Things you didn't know about Rob:

Rob: On Driving

"My dad's a car dealer, but I grew up in London, so I always say I don't drive…I get driven. I got a driving lesson in Oregon, and then I bought a car in L.A. and I basically learned how to drive by people honking at me. I'm terrible at driving."

Rob: On Laundry

"In London, doing the washing was a bi-annual thing, a giant mission. Me and my flatmate had BMX [bikes] and we'd have two of them and this massive laundry sack, a convoy."

Rob: On Anonymity

"I kind of wish people didn't know who I am, that I could just lie, say I'm a speechwriter for Obama. This is what I said before Twilight. And then Obama came along and picked up all these young writers. I found out this guy, Jon Favreau -- who's not the actor Jon Favreau -- is writing for him. And I was like, 'Wow, I wonder if the people who thought I was bullshitting at the time are like, 'Oh my god. That guy! That kid who was drunk in some bar actually wrote the health care bill!'"

Rob: On Money

"I don't spend any money. The only thing I've really bought is my car, which cost $1,500 and keeps exploding. It would be nice to buy a house for my parents, but at the same time my parents are so comfortable where they live; they would probably just feel like it was a burden. I wear the same clothes every day and the only thing I used to splurge on was DVDs."

Rob: On Modeling

"I peaked at 12. There are so many photos from that time where I look unbearably awkward. I'd just be looking in random directions and stuff."

Rob: On Dancing

He says dancing makes him nervous. "I used to be really good, but then something happened in my brain."

You can see rest of the untouched pictures HERE :)

Thanks for posting!!!

Kristen looks so sultry in that pic! Love it!

Just read excerpts of article, love that it is Rob and Kristen centered and about their lives and not about Edward and Bella

This lot of photo's remind me of the Vanity Fair Peggy Sirota ones from last year. Not in the sense that they're at all similar in style, but they're so so so beautiful that it will be noted for awhile.

Absolutely hilarious interview! Love it! They're both such weirdos, they make an awesome team, haha. Rob continues to crack me up with his self-degrading remarks.

I love these interviews where you get a better sense of who they are - normal, funny people. They seem like such great friends and it's great they have each other to lean on.

The photos are unbelieveable. Those 2 just look great together.

I wouldn't say that i loved the article. I'm so tired of the assumptions in the writing.. Gossip sells, i guess.

But I LOVED their answers! :D They're so funny! And the way Rob explained every "who's the most..." questions. Love them, is all i can say.

Love the interview. Finally get something refreshing. It is hilarious and they just totally sound like themselves. Rob is incredibly honest, especially the admitting about his ego soaring high part. So endearing.

LMAO at the interview. When she found the socks in his jacket pocket I was laughing so hard. They both are hilarious in this interview. You can tell they are great friends. Its almost like how my best friend and I describe each other. LOL - I can't wait for this to come out.

I think this whole Vanity Fair and Harper's Bazaar dueling magazines for december has been done perfectly by both sides.
On the one side you have Vanity Fair with solo Rob and his amazing pictures but of course there was the big punch of denying Robsten that basically made it so that the crazy group of Robsten shippers would go on a hissy fit against VF.
and then you have their competition Harper's Bazaar which gives you the Rob/Kristen photoshoot which is basically any shipper or fan fiction writer dream come true and you have this interview which is so perfect and carefree and already has the shippers saying that is basically a confirmation of them being together.
i think that both magazines P.R team did a wonderful job in terms of competition they did a perfect job in playin both of the angles of are they/arent they...you have VF on the Arent they angle but still with the interviewer giving into he own assumptions and then you have Harper's with basically the Are they side of things while still saying that so far they have both denied the romance.
Well played Harper's and VF

Kimmie44 said...

Loved the article and the pics, but yeah I hope they fix the glue on her head with the extensions. There is nothing confirming they are a couple. The author kept staying 'they' and that Kristen wears the pants. that doesn't mean anything. I still feel they are just friends.

christine said...

I can't believe he shipped his dirty laundry! Gross.

Golnaz said...

And Im not going to lie, that seemed like a Yes we're together without having to come out and directly say it. Sorry, saw people representing the "they are just good friends" side, so gotta represent for the many who feel like HB allowed them to come out in their own way. Its like yes, were a couple, but we dont want to say anything about it so let us show you how much we know each other and admire each other.

But whatever, both sides will once again see what they want.

Most importantly, what a sweet, hilarious, honest interview. I love them both so much!

Karina said...

THANK YOU, and interview where Robert finally doesn't sound like a total sad sack! He's hilarious!

And she is too, with the mofo skirt comment. Thank God they have their weird sense of humor to keep them entertained while imprisoned in their hotels for months at a time!

Unknown said...

i cant't see the video. Is it them talking or just pictures we have already seen? Youtube, anyone?

Karina said...

ps: I just read all the comments, and honestly, I don't think the VF or the HB are saying very different things about Robert and his alleged status right now relationship wise.

VF's writer mentions the status could change back and forth given their age and closeness, and HB I think focused more on the fact they are in a situation that pushed them together, but they are good friends because of it. VF implies the same thing. The romantic thing is fuzzy in both situations, and I'm sure by design.

But VF is more for people who have no clue who Robert is, going over his basic biography that all fans know. And HB just sorta went for a more playful slice of life touch, where it's less retrospective of his history and more giving a glimpse into him at the moment.

Dilia said...

As i said before i just think this whole magazine thing has been done perfectly...both magazines VF & HB are directed to the different groups within the Rob fandom...
VF was with the normal fans and HB just basically catered to the Robsten crazies.
im not saying HB sucks or anything, actually i love their interview cause is very natural and carefree, however the tone of the interview and the interviewer just sets it up as an interview done to a couple, it doesnt out right say that they are together but that is the tone they are trying to set, So i can see why there were rumors of this being their coming out article as a couple.
in VF it was more subtle, you had the interviewer which reports on the fact that they both denied the romance BUT she still makes her own assumptions as to them being together.
I for one love both magazine and both interviews, however as to making assumptions on them being together i choose to believe them when they say they arent.

rpattzgirl survived Rob! said...

Paulina,
it's just the interviewer talking & showing photos...

Unknown said...

@Dilia

So you choose to believe Robert and Kristen are a couple until they say they aren't????

Did they ever come out and say the WERE a couple and that's why you stated that?

Unknown said...

Meh, VF AND HB are in the same boat. Both sorta pre-hyped that they had a "confirmation" or a "denial"--and then when you read the article, both HAVE JACK SHIT. lol

VF's"denial" was a complete bust--him saying they are "good friends?" And he didn't put the "just" in there, they did....That was a total bust. Both Robert and Kristen have used that terms a million times. And Kristen's "retard" remark was about the hype, not the reality, if you read the context of it.

HB has the author hinting crap, but you get back to the actual quotes, and you get JACK SHIT again for a confirmation.

Two peas in a pod-who cares though, they have pretty pictures!

roxiegirl said...

Great article. They are both funny. Tho I do wish Rob would pump up his self esteem. Just come see us Rob on this blog and we'll pump up your self esteem. You just gotta believe...

Dilia said...

@joeya_85..i think i wrote it wrong maybe, but what i said is that i choose to believe them when they say the AREN'T a couple.
i forgot the apostrophe in aren't :P

I actually do think these two are more than just friends, but I agree that neither article confirms or denies anything and won't get caught up in the speculation here. Whatever the case may be I am glad that they are close -- it sounds like they balance each other well and they certainly seem to know each other intimately. I happen to love the photoshoot also; Rob looks like he was genuinely having fun.

alynutzapattinson said...

I really loved the article. Really good questions. There should be more interviews of this kind with both of them. I absolutely adore the photoshoot, second best after the Vanity Fair from last year. But I hope that in the magazine they photospop a bit Kristen's glued extension.

peeling a fig said...

I thought the HB interviewer seemed much more savvy and informed about both Rob/Kristen and the fanbase -- she never once talked about 13 year old girls, I think. The VF writer was coming at Rob from a newbie's angle ("THE Pattz?" No, dear, it's RPattz.) and it showed.

A fun interview. The boxes of dirty laundry are truly hilarious. It took me a minute of two to determine which part of Kristen's comments about Rob's hair was the sarcastic bit.

They seem like quirky artists to me, honest and raw. She's tough (though a bit childlike) and he is fragile (though sexy-manly too).

He does need to stop putting himself down, but I don't think he can help it. He is so British (read: embarrassed). It's endearing. Love, love him...

Sorry... a whole book here. Must do work...

JennB said...

I have to say that while I still think Kristen has a lot to learn about gratitude and graciousness, this was a really nice article from both her and Rob.... It really paints a nice picture of who they "are" as much as the editors let it.
Thanks for posting!

Great article. I thought they both were funny and entertaining. I love Kristen's mofo comment. I have to admit I use that reference from time to time....LOL...The pictures are okay they seem a little awkward...I agree with the hair weave reference from Carol...Poor Kristen...

Is it me or does it seem that the interviews were done separately? A couple of times Rob was asking the interviewer what Kristen's response was to certain questions. They seem to be really good friends, and have leaned on each other a lot. What I picked up in the interview...I don't think Kristen is interested in Rob romantically.

AP said...

Great pics of Rob all round – VF and HB. VF article is so-so and the HB kills. Nothing like direct quotes in place of ho-hum editorializing. Kristen is just a badass wonder and Rob is a charm. May their friendship endure the crapola.

Unknown said...

It's sounds like part of the interview was together, then when they did like lightening round speed questions, they seperated them to see what their answers would be, since those questions were like who's more fill in the blank, you or Kristen?

Pammi said...

jeez, I'm so confused...first he's shy, insecure and self deprecating and then he goes and says his ego soars to godlike peaks??? wt...?

riley said...

NOthing's changed, those who don't want them together will champion the VF article, those who want them together will champion the HB article, and those who are okay either way will find some nice little morsels in each to be honest. lol

The thing that's really charming about the HB article is that it was much more fun and light, didn't make Robert philosophize, and let him be a 23 year old guy who can just be silly. The interviewer was completely disarming with them both if you ask me.

riley said...

pammi- I think the interview was explaining that he's trying to keep himself grounded, partly by knocking himself down a lot in interviews and being self deprecating. But he was candid enough to admit that sometimes he actually believes the hype. haha

And it sounds like Kristen as his friend helps to keep him grounded since she seems to tease him a lot. But it sounds like they both call eachother out on their egos-he totally called her out for all her self googling which is funny.

tnan said...

Ooh, lovely interview! Not too gushy or harsh. Just lots of real life bits and quotes. Been so long since we got new material. (LOL can't shake the image of Rob flappin' around like a penguin.)

Only wish the video was of the actual photoshoot!

And is the covers for real?? Bad picks imo. They should have done a closeup of them in the gladiator skirt/leather jacket one.

Karina said...

He is soo honest, it's hilarious. To admit he googles "the competition," is just...I have no words...lol

Is he googling Zac Efron? shia La Beouf? Oh, what a hilarious image, I love how he has not problem with making himself seem vain and silly at times. It's lovely.

Pammi said...

Riley- K...got it- thnx :) I love reading something different from him besides "I'm such an idiot" it always makes me wonder who did such a number on him...but at the same time I love his humbleness

Unknown said...

I am one who doesn't want Robeer to date Kristen but I don't think the VF interview confirms they are/aren't dating and same with HB. The only people who are going to see the VF as a denial and HB as coming out interview are people who are half ass reading. I enjoyed both mags! By the way I would love to see Robert date Natalie Portman!

tnan said...

Pammi, I think Rob meant his self-confidence is often affected by other people's opinion because he's quite insecure. So lots of ups and downs given the hype around Twilight. As opposed to Kristen who seems more confident in herself as an actor.

IMO I don't think it's healthy for them to be googling themselves so much. Can really mess with their heads.

tnan said...

Karina, hm good point! Ha, wonder who he considers his 'competition'?

Unknown said...

On another note, I am sure everyone remembers that infamous pic at the MTV Music Awards where Kristen's hand was pulling Roberts jacket and fans started saying that was PDA and confirmation that they were dating! Well I guess her and Taylor are dating now since there are pics of her doing that same thing to him in Mexico! Why aren't we hearing about that PDA???

Unknown said...

i completely agree with everything that Karina said. I like the HB interview i think they did a great job and i think it showcases how they have become great friends because of the situation that they are in, they would have to be close to get through what they go through all the time in the press.

thought this was hilarious and really reminded me of how my best friend and i describe each other...honest, funny, but with affection

Anonymous said...

I never understand those who think Kristen is not attractive- she's stunning! Such a beauty- I thought that from the first time I saw her in Twilight. They both have killer looks and I love how close they seem. I also love Kristen's d-gaf attitude (don't give a f--k according to my son). ;) She's so amazing- and so is Rob, that goes without saying!

Kristin said...

That cover pic is heartbreakingly beautiful! I can just feel the love.

The interview is great too, but I'm wondering . . . doesn't Rob have someone who can do the laundry for him? Poor guy. I would think the Sheraton would have a laundry service.

Unknown said...

I think it's so funny that they say this interview is about their relationship but it's never defined. Well, the auther says "it's clear that they're close - very close." But that can't really be interpreted unless we hear the tone that she was saying it in.

Either way, it's clear that they are close...friends? I don't know, I just don't get the romantic vibe from them. Maybe that's why they never confirm or deny anything? It's probably really either like "No, we don't see each other that way," or "Yeah...we hook up sometimes, but we're not, like, boyfriend/girlfriend." That's probably the best confirmation we could ever expect, but they would probably never say that. For now, the ambigiousness will have to do.

I also have to agree that Rob confused me. I hope he was joking that his ego gets to Godlike proportions! The whole reason we love him is because he's gorgeous and DOESN'T know it, lol. Sigh. I guess he had to realize it someday though...

Unknown said...

Ew, sorry *ambiguousness. I can't spell, clearly :)

I'm too old for this said...

To joeya85.
I don't think people make those assumptions about Taylor because she doesn't hang out with him 24/7,go to concerts together, stay over at his hotel room in LA,and leave with him from award shows.

Unknown said...

I think rob fully knows he's beautiful, the refreshing thing is it seems to embarrass him and he doesn't place much value in that quality.

And what's so great about this interview is that even after a year of insanity, Robert can STILL be unguarded and candid. The VF article was somewhat asking him to analyze his life and the new path it's taken. This interview let him show a different, less introspective side-the side that steals socks and can make fun of the fact he can be downright self righteous at times.

beyonce said...

robert and kristen have no intention on confirming or denying. Magazines have every intention of pretending they single handedly got "the exclusive" on the nature of their relationship.

Both VF and HB failed at grabbing that exclusive, both K/R remained elusive about the romantic aspect. Yet they are very comfortable in showing us the friendship side, as we see in HB.

They don't want to share with us beyond that. And they don't have to, I think they both seem like lovely people who have good heads on their shoulders who make eachother's loads lighter by having eachother to lean on. And what they do behind closed doors is really irrelevant to that comforting fact. I'm glad Rob has someone close to him who has his back.

Say what you will about Kristen, but she seems like a very trusted friend to him who isn't going to feed him bullshit like most others will given his position of celebriy right now.

I so hope they actually taped the quick Q&A at the end. So hilarious! Rob, the beautiful man-child, fragile ego, heartbreaking voice..Flippy! And the box of Raybans, wonder if the company sent him freebies. He's probably turned their sales around.

In my whole life, I ve never heard someone saying about two people who were "just friends": he/she is the one who wears the pans...

Rob googles his competition? Um, who is that? There is none.

I like the idea that he actually might read some of the stuff we post.

I think it would make him feel good to know that there are all these moms out here who want to take care of him, and want to f_ck him senseless.

And yes man, start spending some of that money on letting people do things for you, laundry, driving, shopping.

I've never bought/read/looked at this magazine before. It seems to me from the cover article titles that it is a fashion magazine. Is this so? Or are these just the topics for leading into the holidays, when many, it seems are concerned with how they look/dress?
If it IS a fashion magazine, it seems a bit funny and cute to have these 2 on the cover. ;-) But dressing them up and posing them leaves more room than with most people, as they can be dressed and posed in the clothing and mood of different time periods. All the world's a stage.

Hahaha!! I see Rob is still highly amusing 1 year one. You've got to love him.

Few questions if anyone knows...
Has the date been released for when this will hit newsstands? and will both covers be available at typical stores? I'm not sure how the two covers thing works. I prefer/want the second cover.

Solas,
Yes, HB is a high fashion magazine, and the I think it is almost in the same league as Vogue, and more serious about fashion than Allure or Glamour, Marie Claire. They do have celebrity on the cover a lot though and let them play dress-up, but the, November issue's cover is Tina Fey. And you don't think about high fashion when you see Tina Fey.

Nightowl:

The second cover (Rob kneeling) is for subscribers only.

solas said...

Many thanks, Quipang.
I don't think about Tina Fey much at all, except I remember the hoopla about her playing Sara Palin.
I have never bought or looked at a fashion magazine, other than the covers at the store; I make my own fashion. :-)

Quipang,
Thanks for answering about the covers!

I'm disappointed. I don't currently subscribe and I like the second cover SO much better. Oh well, nothing I can do about that now.

well that was lovely and a refreshing article about those 2 for a change, if they are 2gether 2gether or not they definatley truly care about each other :)

In my opinion it's very strange if R&K aren't more than platonic friends since they apparently spend so much time together and have this "closeness." Why wouldn't they want this closeness with someone in a sexual relationship? They must have sexual needs. Also, I don't know how any woman could have a room alongside Rob's and not want to jump his bones. It doesn't matter though. Rob said he's not dating her so I have to believe what he says.

the way they talk about their relationship really show how much they really know about each other and care for one another. tjis is a couple talking about their life together.

I agree both magazines failed to get a denial or a confirmation.

And if Vanity Fair and HB can't get an exclusive, don't expect ANY other magazine to either then.

I think it's fair to say they will not be answering that question, so we'll all just have to accept that fact.

This interview is so different from anything they've done before. It's a peek inside their life as a COUPLE. Do you see them talking about Twilight/Edward and Bella in their questions? It's about them TOGETHER. Do people ask you and your BFF who's more romantic? They are not the type of people to come out and make a public announcement that they are together, they are SHOWING you. They seem to balance each other so well, wish them all the best! This article tells a beautiful love story. Notice the Cartier braclet Kristen has on in the "engagement photos". It signifies eternal love. Google it. And keep in mind, they are not Edward and Bella in these pics, they are Rob and Kristen.

Ok I was already not liking Kristen for no reason at all..(perhaps because of jealousy), but I really liked her at times, and this interview just made me like her more. I admit to being a shipper before but then I gave up but I won't be coming back to being a shipper I would just let the chips fall as they may.

I really like the photos though, they both look so hot!! I'm loving Kristen's sophisticated look, she can really pose and she still looks like she's acting when she poses. I love Rob's as well although the outfits are limited (mainly because he's a guy)specially the kneeling!!

Regarding whether people can get a confirmation or denial --- I secretly still have some hope for Ellen DeGeneres. But if Rob prefers to not answer, then that is perfectly fine. They are young and they can live their life and define their relationship however they want to do it.

Lainey made some comments regarding HB. While I couldn't agree more about her comments on the photos shoot, I think she is being too harsh on Rob. He needs more movies/experiences to gain confidence about his acting skills and he is on the right track.

I really, trully, fully LOOOOOVE this man!
And after reading all your previous comments, well, who cares? Are/aren´t they? I think they never, ever talk about it at mags, i think it´s not their style at all... and it´s not our business! I only enjoy looking at him so dazzling and happy! Don´t you enjoy his smile, so genuine? I do!

I think the HB pics are absolutely stunning !!!!! The best I have seen yet. Rob and Kristen both compliment each other very well. They have been "together" (one way or another) for quite a while now that they know each other so well. Kristen and Rob don't have to share what they have, they can keep it to themselves. I will say that a picture is worth a thousand words. These HB pics certainly say alot !!!! OH, by the way Rob, I would LOVE to do your laundry, anytime !!!!!

I LOVE this interview!!! At last something fresh and REAL!!
I suddenly have respect for HB that I never had before. Well done!

LOL at people "thinking" they came out as a couple in HB. No wonder why Kristen is saying F-you to everybody.

i dunno ... said...

Just like to say “Hi Rob”! If you Google yourself (and the competition) you sure as hell read this site and all our comments on a daily basis…

Nice article, but sorry I don't love the wedding-photog photo shoot. If we could swap the VF photos, this would be the perfect publication.

Oh, and I agree with Jerseygrl2. Those aren't questions you ask BFFs. More power to them.

OK i really love this interview im tired oh hearing the same anwsers about Bella and Edward ..I was reading this at my university and smiling like a dork
This is really funny I love the ray ban part..Im pretty sure he get's them for free there's no way he is going to biy 17 pair of glasses.

I love the photoshoot.they both look amazing..We havent seen a photoshoot like this in a while..I love the ones from the motocycle..and the proposing one...

Im really confused about their relationship thing..Im not going to say they are a couple until they said so ( and Im pretty sure that's NEVER going to happend) or someone take a picture of them kissing or something..BUt those questions confuse me..who is more romantic?and they have rooms side by side, they barely get out of the hotel, so they must spend a LOT of time together...and then the way Kristen talks about him is not very soft..at all hahaha I dont like how she act but im starting to like her much more as a person.
