FKA twigs talks about her relationship with Robert Pattinson: "...very worth it."

 photo image-5.jpg

This is sweet and so true...

Excerpt from a recent interview with USA TODAY:
Despite the critical acclaim that met LP1, Twigs has also encountered an uglier side of fame since stepping out with reported boyfriend Robert Pattinson, of Twilight fame, in September. Faced with floods of racist remarks and death threats on Twitter, and swarmed by paparazzi, she has since taken a step back from social media — after all, she says, she has no control over the online venom of "14-year-old kids that should be in bed" — but she still finds the constant attention difficult.

"I really enjoy the fun of putting something out and people liking it or hating it or talking about it, but vacuous attention, it feels disgusting. It's like a hangover," she says. "It's weird, I know that's not really because of me or what I'm doing," but nevertheless, "the positivity that I get from (my relationship) makes the more challenging aspects ... very worth it."
He's definitely worth it.

Robert Pattinson's limited edition & Gucci style + salmon never looked so good

Robert Pattinson's limited edition & Gucci style + salmon never looked so good

While promoting Cosmopolis in Paris yesterday, Robert Pattinson went on Le Petit Journal and was a bundle of awesomeness. Typical. ;)

PhotobucketPhotobucket

What wasn't typical was his cool, denim jacket. That unique apparel was a limited edition jacket...very limited edition. Excerpt from The Fashion Court:
Rob was in great spirits during his segment and was clad in a casual cool look, which consisted of dark trousers, a grey t-shirt underneath a deep grey button-down shirt, but the pièce de résistance was definitely his black jacket!

Robert is wearing one of ten limited edition, overdyed trucker jackets from Levi’s collaboration with MOCA (The Museum of Contemporary Art). These graphic-back jackets were designed by some of the hottest and well-known street artists who collaborated with Art in the Streets to feature their artwork on the back of Levi’s most classic jacket.

The one on Rob was designed by Chaz Bojorquez, who began his work in 1969, and features a graffiti cross above a skeleton head and a text phrase.

Looks like the talk show had Rob block out the bottom portion of the graphic.

That's so cool! Rob should be outfitted in only the best and most exclusive. Even his hobo stuff is exclusive. You can't find that at Nordstrom's Men. Speaking of exclusively the best...

Photobucket

GAWD. Did he not kill with the sexy salmon?? You must have guessed who made this tailored perfection for Mr. Perfect...

Photobucket

Excerpt from The Fashion Court:
The 26-year-old actor was devastatingly dashing in a Gucci two button, notched lapel, blue plaid “Dylan” suit with a salmon fitted dress shirt and a complimenting charcoal grey “Dakota” printed tie.
...
Rob has worn a red suit before, he’s been photographed in bright blue and teal for magazines and he’s even been known to rock a pair of red pants on his off duty days. He’s obviously not afraid of color and when he takes that leap outside of the standard black, grey and brown palette, he shines so bright. (Tink: He is the sun.)
...
Rob finished off with a pair of dark brown leather dress shoes.
Devastatingly dashing, indeed, CJ! I was positively ruined by SalmonRob.

Robert Pattinson's Cosmopolis gathers more attention for the win in MTV Movie Brawl

Robert Pattinson's Cosmopolis gathers more attention for the win in MTV Movie Brawl

Photobucket

The main post has a lot going on and I wanted you guys to read this so a fresh post it is.

From Page MacKinkley at Gather.com:
Tighter than Kim Kardashian's prenup and possibly just as viciously fought, MTV's 2012 Movie Brawl finally closed voting at 5 p.m. today. The result, debated and clawed over throughout Twitterland, Facebook and the blogosphere, is now in: The battle royale that was Cosmopolis v The Hunger Games is over - and Cosmopolis won!

After more than 3 million votes, Cosmopolis swung the day with a decisive 53.78 % win over the 46.22 % managed by The Hunger Games (THG). Earlier rounds before the two-film face-off included: Ridley Scott's Prometheus, Daniel Radcliffe's Woman in Black, Bel Ami (RPattz again), Dark Knight Rises, Snow White and The Huntsman, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and even Breaking Dawn Part 2. But eventually the final contenders came down to THG and the leading man of the Twilight Saga franchise - Robert Pattinson. But, of course, only one movie can rule them all. And, as it turns out - that movie was David Cronenberg's highly anticipated Cosmopolis.

The road to the top wasn't pretty though. Closer than close percentages between Cosmopolis and THG saw both films slug it out for front position with THG leading a lot of the time, until fierce voting by RPattz's fanbase forced a 180. Figures hovered around the 48.5 to 51% mark for most of the brawl. 24 hours before the final day of the contest, Cosmopolis malingered in sorry second to THG, holding at 48.82 % at 10 p.m. (ET) while TGH led the way at 51.18%.

But by today's final countdown, less than 11 hours later, THG's lead was clearly fading. Today at 06:25 a.m. (ET) Cosmopolis pushed up to 49.58% while THG hung on at 50.42 %. Then, today, less than 6 hours later, at midday (ET), Cosmopolis high-kicked into the lead at 52.24 %, while THG held at 47.76%. Two and a half hours before MTV rang the bell, at 2:30 p.m. (ET), Cosmopolis's lead was well established at 53.14 % with THG flagging at 46.86%. Then, a final push by Pattinson fans drove the lead up to 53.78% - and only one was left standing.
(...)
Up and down the comments page at MTV's 2012 Movie Brawl, a war of words raged between the two camps. Accusations of cheating, rigging, and hacking went back and forth across the blogosphere - but in the end the result was clear and perfectly fair. Here's the amazing part: Even without a trailer, promotion, or any of the vast resources Lionsgate has thrown at THG; the passion and affection Pattinson fans have for a young actor on the verge of definitively proving his serious acting mettle on the world stage - delivered an indie film called Cosmopolis to Victory.

David and Goliath, eat your heart out.

Robert Pattinson donates private screening of Breaking Dawn for charity

Ok...Rob wants you to love him more...

Photobucket

From EOnline:

Robert Pattinson has given young girls—and everyone else, for that matter—another reason to love him even more. (Tink: Our love for him is boundless!)

Here's how it came about: About a year ago, Pattinson donated a meet and greet with fans on the set of Breaking Dawn for a charity auction.

Not only did a Chicago family win the coveted prize with a bid of $80,000, but...

The money raised by Pattz for the Go Campaign is being used 100 percent to build a permanent home for PAGE (Program Advancing Girls Education), an organization helping to educate teen girls in Cambodia.

PAGE currently houses 12 girls in a rented facility. Sadly, they've had to move several times over the last three years because of health and safety concerns.

The new home will accommodate 20 girls. Run by Cambodian monks in Siem Reap, Cambodia, PAGE has also bought a piece of land large enough for its own vegetable garden to help feed the students.

And now we're happy to report that Pattinson is helping the Go Campaign again! He's donated a private screening of Breaking Dawn for 20 people that will take place in Los Angeles on Nov. 17, the night before the movie opens in theaters. (Tink: *weeping* He's so kind...)

Guests will also take home a Twilight gift bag that includes signed posters, DVDs and a replica of Bella's wedding ring, among many other goodies.

Like last year, Pattinson's package is part of the auction that coincides with the Go Campaign's Go Go Gala. Hosted by Ewan McGregor, the fourth annual event takes place Nov. 10 at the London Hotel in Los Angeles.

The set visit was the highest bid ever for a Go Campaign auction. Will R.Pattz shatter his own record this time around?

We have a feeling he will.

He's such a giver... *sigh*

Robert Pattinson will make "a great dad"

Robert Pattinson's ex girlfriend, Nina Schubert, mentioned Rob in a recent interview. I can't help but agree with her on the father bit and truly hope she's right on the writer bit.

Photobucket

Discussing her lovers:

Nina: Looking back on some of the guys that wanted to be with me, like this German guy, a beautiful guy. He was a bit geeky and a bit sort of, like 'do you want to share some duvet cover when we watch the movie?' - that kind of guy. And I was like, uckh no. I liked this Geordie guy on the other side of the room with his foot up in the air picking his toenails.

My ideal guys have been there, but when I didn’t realise it. I find myself attracted to people who might not be ideal for my personality. I love Jeff Bridges. When I go out with guys I always imagine them 30 years down their life. Like Peter, he’s going to be a great man. And like Rob, Rob will be a great dad. He's very talented. Eventually he’ll be a writer.

Interviewer: Really?

Nina: Yeah, he’ll write films and plays.

Interviewer: Not music?

Nina: Yeah that too, but he’ll write.
