What did you and Robert Pattinson do to create that bond James and Dennis shared?
It's an interesting bond because I don't really look at them as friends. I look at them as two artists who were both struggling in different ways, because they work in different ways, and they come across each other and they influence each other as artists. So while a lot of people are calling it a friendship movie, I don't really see the friendship part of it. It's not like Rob and I weren't friends, it's just I felt like that was the relationship we had probably because of the film. We hung out a couple of times outside of set, but other than that, it would be show up on set and really get to know each other through the process of making the movie as two artists who go about things in two different ways. And I think in that way, you don't have to "act" the relationship, you just allow it to happen on screen.

You've worked with some actors with huge fan bases, like Daniel Radcliffe and Rob Pattinson. Did you see all that come into play when you were on set with them? And are you fearful of that kind of fame yourself going forward?
I've worked with Shia LaBeouf too, and it manifests itself differently for all those guys. It's interesting because all those movies have a different target audience. People love Dan in this way where they want to hold him close, where with Rob, they just want to jump on him and make out with him -- there's this sexuality that goes along with Rob's fans where they're just sooo into him as a sexual being. And then Shia's fans are like, "You're the Transformer hero!" They all handle it different ways. Their lives are all more crazy than mine is. But am I scared of that happening?
Yeah, like for example, can you walk around without people noticing you?
Yeah, well, they don't not notice me but ...
It's not like you're attacked.
Right. I can go to the grocery store and people are like, "Hi, I really like you." And I'm like, "Thank you!" ... When we were filming "Life," I remember one day on set Rob was like, "I went to the grocery store for the first time in so long." And I was like, "OK?" I don't know. I don't really think about that stuff that much because it's sort of out of my control and I’m just really grateful that I get to do what I do.

a social network friend gave me the coup and i gave it a thought for exactly 10 seconds. i was living in germany and this was probably my only chance to ever meet him. so i packed a few things and went off. to the airport! what i had to learn the hard way, though, was that 'love actually' fooled us all! getting into an airport was fucking hard, impossible almost, if it wasn't for the money. so i did it, i bought my one-way ticket to copenhagen and hopefully to rob. it still was nothing but a rumor and i was already cursing myself for spending my college money on something i wasn't even sure of if it was true or not. anyways, i went to the gate and i waited... and waited... getting more and more nervous (and cursing at myself some more)... until i finally saw him entering the gate. back then he wasn't as popular as he's now, so he was totally alone, no bodyguard, nothing. not even nick was by his side. he walked past me and idk why but i closed my eyes and i swear to god i felt his presence with every cell of my body. it was as if time stood still for a moment. he sat down somewhere in the backseats of the waiting room and i gathered all my courage to go to him. when i went over to him (my head filled with a zillion OMGs) i thought i was going to faint but the moment i approached him and he looked up to me with his light blue eyes, everything was gone. just like that. it was like talking to an old friend, at least for me it was. rob was just super tired and slightly overwhelmed with the fact that he got recognized yet again. we had a lovely chat nevertheless, it took about 10 minutes and i had a little gift for him which surprised him a lot and he seemed very grateful :) before it was time to leave i asked him if we could take a pic and he said sure, taking the picture himself with my camera. then i asked if it was okay if i hugged him and he allowed it and we said our goodbyes and i left, being an emotional mess for the next two months lol this was today, five years ago, and it'll stay one of the best days of my life forever :) thanks for this memory rob, and have fun in #cannes this year, once again :D <3Source | Thanks Maria!

We announced yesterday that word on the street was Robert Pattinson was going to be the new face for Dior mens fragrance. Now we've got even more great info!

Grazia said on their twitter that Rob is heading to London this week to shoot but I'm not sure how accurate that is with press junket activities happening for Rob at the end of the week then TV interviews next week. We'll see. Point is what he will be shooting. This is going to be goooooood ladies....

We also know it’s set to be a Moulin Rouge-style shoot in black and white. Appaz, Rob had no less than three offers on the table but chose Dior because it’s ‘classic and timeless’. Stay tuned as we bring you more details as they arrive...GAH! Moulin-Rouge, black and white?? And no less than 3 offers on the table? We can believe that. Rob is a wanted man and rightly so.
