Robert Pattinson Getting Last Laugh For 'Remember Me'

Robert Pattinson Getting Last Laugh For 'Remember Me'

Photobucket

From The Improper

Pretty boy “Twilight” star (Kate: Ok don't start with this pretty boy stuff or I'll have to get nasty) Robert Pattinson got a little roughed up by the film critics for his movie “Remember Me,” with Emilie de Ravin. But Rob may be getting the last laugh now that the box office numbers are rolling in. (Kate: Whoo hoo. Go Rob, Go Rob)

“Remember Me,” about a troubled youth attempting to deal with tragedy, is slowly working its way around the world, opening in such far flung country as Argentina and Australia.

So far, the film has grossed $45.7 million at the box office, which obviously isn’t anything close to 3-D blockbuster “Avatar’s” billion dollar plus take. But “Remember Me” only cost $16 million to bring to the big screen.

Experts predict the film could do as much as $60 million worldwide, when all is said and done. In relative terms, that makes it a box office success, (Kate: YAY) especially for a film that received lackluster reviews, mainly for the plot.

Rob felt a special connection to the film and felt it was something that had to be made. But the shear force of his popularity is probably driving the numbers.

Pattinson stars as Tyler Hawkins, who lives in posh Manhattan but is estranged from his successful father (Pierce Brosnan). Tyler is alienated and resentful, but he soon finds someone he can relate to. (Emilie de Ravin).

The film also includes Lena Olin, Ruby Jerins, Chris Cooper and Tate Ellington. “Remember Me” was directed by Allen Coulter from a screenplay by Will Fetters, and they are getting most of the bad press.

In its worldwide trek, the film opened in Argentina, France and other European countries this past weekend, and was a hit in Paris. It came in at No. 6 in the City of Light, which is not bad for an American film.

The drama’s international weekend take was $4.7 million at 2,302 screens in 36 territories, bringing its international box office to $27 million.

The film made back its money before even going overseas. So far it has grossed $18.7 million in North America, bringing the total to $45.7 million.

The film’s top foreign markets before last weekend’s openings were surprisingly Russia ($3.15m), Italy, ($2.35m), Germanyn ($1.9m), Brazil, ($1.71) the UK/Ireland ($1.5m) (Kate: Whoo hoo!!! Sorry :-}) and Australia ($1.21m).

Going foward, the film will open in several other countries, from Chile in South America to Turkey. (Kate: Yay Goz, you'll finally get to see it)

And it has yet to open in several top Asian markets, such as China, Japan, and South Korea.

All in all, not a bad showing for a small indie film, and Rob’s first outing as a lead in a movie outside of the “Twilight” series — and without Kristen Stewart.

Rob will be back in vampire form, in June when the latest “Twilight” installment “Eclipse” is released.

I'm from Argentina. I watched it last night! There weren't many people in the theatre, but it was monday, and the 7 pm show...
I loved it... Heart breaking, but so real. I think Rob was great in it.

I am so happy that word of mouth is working for RM as I hoped it would after people saw it.
So very happy for all involved.

Wow I'm so happy about that! Take that b***y critics! And sofar it's done really well in Paris my city ! Plus the Easter holidays are starting next Friday, which may perhaps bring more butts in the theaters. Go RM!
I'm going back tonight with a friend. And I'm taking my 15 year old niece next Saturday. And I'm alos to convince my old mother to come with me. :))

Liz said...

The five times I watched it in the theater wasn't enough for me. This is great news! Won't the DVD sales add on to this? I have 10 requests to buy the DVD for friends overseas as soon as it comes out here in June.

I can't wait for the commentary. :) I will probably have this movie running on an endless reel for a week or so...

lostchances said...

Thank God!

I hope the rest of the world can suck on this and learn that Rob is here to stay. I will rally for him if I have to.

Great job Rob! Keep on working hard.... if these assoholic critics do this to you again, we will keep on fighting. Just be true to yourself and stay committed.

Robiscool said...

So happy to hear it. They did not even mention DVD sales, which will be fantastic and add millions more. All in all a great success. Congrats to Rob and the RM team!

womadsart said...

ITA ! It was a great movie and Robert was outstanding in it! I saw it 4 times and can't wait for the DVD in June! Blockbuster movies have a wider audience range, generic (special effects, adventure theme etc) RM was special for me.. because it brings back something that we tend to forget that shouldn't be forgotten. I'm glad ROb made the choice to be part of this project and I'm so happy the numbers keep showing and proving it's success!!!!

RTP_KJS_Lover said...

This makes me very happy! Go Rob!

As @SluttyPattz said - suck that critics!!

*Waving hello to all*

oldcoach said...

I loved the movie and saw it twice. I think the problem most critics have is getting past Robert Pattinson the image. He is profoundly good looking on screen. The camera loves him. It took a few moments for me to even get past it. But once I did I thought he did a very good job of portraying Tyler. The man has an extreme amount of talent. But critics and some people have to get past the good looks first and judge the actor. As for the ending I found no problem with it. Since film started people have used timely events for their messages.

HeneciaD said...

@womadsard hi hon totally agree with you

@CL waving back hon how are you

Sherrie Jo said...

Yeah for Rob and all that made this great movie. I loved it and saw it 3 times. It one that I wished so many more people would have seen,...and then they would get why we support Robert like we do!! AWESOME news.

gigileo said...

This is great news - it's fantastic to see this movie having such a nice success outside of US !
I saw it 3 times already and planning to see it again next Saturday, bringing some friends too (yeah Rob, we are good fans to you!).
It's an amazing movie, very tactfully and artistically done... My eyes water up even just thinking about it... (I cry all the time!)
ARob was fabulous in it (& the rest of the cast too) and I agree with oldcoach here : he is just GORGEOUS in this movie, so so so beautiful it almost hurts...

Heidi said...

I have seen it three times and would have seen it more had it not left my theater already. My 15 year old son loved it, too. With all the symbolism you notice something different every time you watch it. This movie is so wonderful! I wish more people would have given it a chance.

Monique said...

Welll... YAY for the Parisiens #6. The Russian are not doing badly either. Damn every country are doing great considering it's a 16mil movie, dramatic, no special effects... just good story and acting.

@SluttyPattz... Suck that critics! LOL Who's having the last laugh now?

WooHoo and YAY, Go Rob. The man is not only "Pretty" he can bloody act too.

I know I'll be there the first day to buy my DVD.

@Kate you made me LOL, when you say you'll get nasty. LOL.

Amelie said...

It's bitter-sweet victory for Rob. He got lashed by critics before he could even prove it.

Clearly, his so-called millions of die-hard Twi-fans didn't support him here (domestic, only $18 mil)?? Thanks, to the loyal Robfans abroad who are willing to give Rob the support outside of Twi-world.

Jane said...

I can't understand why the twi-hard fans didn't show up. My granddaughter who is fourteen went with several of her friends and they all loved it. The two-hards were misled about the movie which was a shame for they all would have loved it like my crowd that has gone four times and waiting on the DVD. Who could not love this man. He is the boyfriend you never had and the husband you always wanted.

WhyIstheRumAlwaysGone said...

This is slightly off-topic and might've been discussed in other thread, but has anyone gone to the Oprah website to show your love for the Twilight Saga and Rob? I know some the beautiful ladies here deserve to have a say (you all have the best comments!)...and should be on the show! I'm guessing they are gearing up to promote Eclipse.

https://www.oprah.com/ownshow/plug_form.html?plug_id=3932628

I put down my two cents telling them about this wonderful blog (Hi Kate and Goz) and our obsession with Mr. Gorgeous himself. I also mentioned the mini-culture of Fanfiction. Not many are aware of the hidden talents of great writers out there.

If there's even a slight chance that I am picked to be an audience member, I hope and pray I will see Rob (if he's on the show). My daughter will be beyond embarrassed but it'll be worth it.

OT:did anyone see the final (including dvd sales) totals for new moon...over $700 mill., plus twilight it's over a billion for both movies now...$$$$$$$ AND there are still 2 more movies or maybe 3 to go...and who says that we are in a recession LOL.

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

WoW this is good news (eat that Ted C) He was the one ranting and ravind that RM was a Bomb because he was promoting The Runaways,

and his involvement had the opposite effect, while RM made back its reported budget here in the (U.S) before going global ,The Runaways only made about 2 mil while it took 10 mil to make,

Rod did this on his own with out Twi or KS,it proves that he can make it on his own as a leading man without the twi series.........Go Rob!

Anonymous said...

It's good that Remember Me is doing so well! It is a success. And while I would have hoped for somethings to be changed in the story, Robert and Emilie did an outstanding job, their chemistry was strong. And also Tyler's little sister was excellent! And The scene when Tyler is facing his father is a great scene.

So in the end, I think the movie deserves those really good numbers. I'm glad that all those who were harping on it failing now have to eat crow. Those same people were harping about how good that stupid movie with Kristen is, and it bombed bad lol. Robert, and Robert's fans, indeed do get the last laugh!

RTP_KJS_Lover said...

@Ana73 - Hi Ana!
NM was the #4 movie last year. Set two records...I think we "eclipse" NM with Eclipse.

I saw RM 7 times, and will watch the DVD repeatedly. $60M box office w/o DVD is amazing for a little movie that cost $16M to make.

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

Ted C was right all along about 'Robsten' we have prove to back up his ranting,he deserves credit for that.
but he was sooo wrong about RM,i hope he learned his lesson, stay away from the film critic stuff and stick to what he does best 'Gossip'

Anonymous said...

Just because people are twifans does not mean they HAVE to be Rob fans. Good for whoever is both but a movie does not mean you have love everything the actors do that follow it.

For instance, I love the Pirate's of the Carribean movies, love Johnny, Orlando and Keira in them, but that doesn't mean I'm going to like and go see everything they are in if I don't like the script.

I am a Rob fan, saw RM because the script interested me, am I surprised at the lackluster reviews, no. I still enjoyed the movie though.

Ana73 said...

ok i really hate that TED C or any other report was comparing the runaways to remember me. first, i didnt see the runaways because it wasn't playing ANYWHERE near me, so i cant comment if it was good or bad. also, why when we talk about how good RM was does the runaways get mentioned???

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

YEP Rob and his fans get the last laugh, LoL i saw RM about 7 times here in Nyc,i did my part as a loyal Rob fan,
when the movie first came out some folks wanted Rob to fail while they tried to promote KS crappy movie, but we Rob fans are not that stupid,
we know a good thing when we see it.

angie-k said...

YAY! for Remember Me!!!!

I was only able to see it 4 times, but will def own the DVD.

Doing my Happy Happy Joy Joy dance for Rob!

FILTM!

Anonymous said...

I agree Janna, because I won't be seeing Bel Ami in theaters, because the story just doesn't appeal to me. But this is different, this movie had a good storyline that interested me, and I felt that some other person's fans (this has nothing to do with Twifans, the majority of them don't care for her), did their best to bring Remember Me down, and they failed. And I love that they have to eat crow now.

Amelie said...

@Janna. good point you made. I'm a Robfan but not really a Twi-fan after I saw NM, (I'm not going to say sorry)

As a Robfan and Robsessed at that I'm going follow Rob's journey through out my lifetime and support him no matter what he does. I hope.

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

The Runaways gets mentioned because people were saying in the beginning how much good reviews it got and KS did a good job Yadda Yadda ,they were hoping that it would do better Than RM,But again Rob prove them wrong.

gkngc04 said...

I have to agree with SluttyPattz! This movie was brilliant....saw it 5 times.....

Well rpattz-turns-me-on I saw Remember Me only once, really enjoyed it and will be buying the dvd when it comes out. When I went to see it, I knew it would be good and something that I would enjoy, or else I wouldn't have gone to see it in theaters, but waited for the dvd rental. And I was really impressed by the great performances from the whole cast, but especially Robert(first, he carried this movie), Emilie, Ruby, and Pierce. And I enjoyed the movie more than I had initially expected! And that's why I will be buying it on dvd! It deserves all the success it is getting!

RTP_KJS_Lover said...

AND bringing the conversation back to Rob and Remember Me, in his short career he has made some really interesting choices in scripts, and as he continues to prove himself outside of Twi, I think the future is full of wonderful, thoughtful movies and *fingers crossed* an Oscar.

angie-k said...

@CL - well said!!!

;o)

psst.. go look who is on twitter...

Petra Eller said...

To "Remember me" we will remember for a long time. And some critics will not like to remember their bad reviews about "Remember me". If these people are able to remember to something. What I doubt it. Because of Rob , I will remember very much to "Remember me".
And now the question: How often now came the word "Remember" in the text. LOL
I cannot remember.
But for one i remember. I love RM :)

RPTMO - but that's my point, why are they saying one is going to better than the other, it's like they are trying to stir drama between the two, it makes no sense to me. the runaways was only released in over 200 theaters on opening day, but it also was not a summit movie as some said on a thread yesterday, it was by a smaller company. actually there was an article in EW about indie films that have big stars but aren't doing well, it was interesting to see movies that bombed with big names attached to them.

HeneciaD said...

@estgarzo hon are you here

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

The Runaways failed because No.1 it was a crappy movie and No.2 sorry to say but KS is not well liked, most people tolerate and endure her because of Rob,she does have fans but its not a solid fan base like Rob's,so her film career maybe limited outside the twi franchise due to the likeability factor.you cant sell a product folks dont like, this is a plus for Rob because he is loved through out the world by every race, creed and religion, when i visited Dubai UAE i was surprise to see my muslim friends swoon over him lol

rpattzgirl survived Rob! said...

WOO-HOO Rob!!!!!!!

Ana73 said...

RPTMO - oh, please, she has a career before rob...that is really bad to say that "people tolerate or endure her because of rob". i sure wouldn't like an actress just because she is dating an actor that i really like. and i dont think that she gets jobs just because of rob.

i cant honestly comment if it was good or bad movie because i didn't see it, did you see the movie???

RTP_KJS_Lover said...

@rpattz-turn-me-on - Can we PLEASE concentrate on Rob and Rob only, please.

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

@Ana 73 i agree!

they were trying to create drama and make them compete against each other which is a bad move on their part,
but it back fired big time,i dont think R and K compete against each other like that, and if they do Rob wins hands down.

Ana73 said...

CL - I know that i have to stay on track with rob here but sometimes...but i love your avi :))

Anonymous said...

I really didn't want to do this but this comparison crap is pissing me off. Kristen has many fans, and is being supported more because of the ridiculous hate thrown at her, and critics seem to like her very much (and see how I didn't have tear Rob down to support Kristen)

These webpages are the week by week counts for RM and TRA, go ahead and compare http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=weekend&id=rememberme.htm
http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=weekend&id=therunaways.htm

Jazz_Girl317 said...

Huh? Wait, you mean people who go see a movie and base their opinions of it on the story and portrayals versus making snap judgements and rants based on wanting to avoid the appearance of pandering to pop culture might ACTUALLY know what they like and are talking about? Hmmm, who'd have ever thought that.

Remember Me was an amazing film with a breathtaking story. Do I love Rob? Without question. Am I honest enough to say, "Yeah, Rob was hot but the movie sucked," if need be? Abso-fracking-lutely.

But, it boils down to this. RM did what the assha.... critics all said it couldn't. It held up on it's own and performed fantastically for the kind of movie it is. Just goes to show what we can do when we band together, kids.

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

@cullenlovove sorry will do my bad @angel wings i agree and i cant wait for the DVD @Ana 73 yes i saw The Runaways and did not like it,and i agree she was acting before Rob but she is not liked by many in twi land lol

HeneciaD said...

@cullanlover yeah I just wanna talk about him only him

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

ok now stir the convo back to Rob.......i think Bel-Ami will be a bigger box office hit than RM,Rob looked damn hot in those costumes.

Deelight said...

Rob is a a breath of fresh indeed!!!!
Rob is what we have been needing. Someone who is truly in it to make movies/art. Someone like Johnny Depp who has passion, pride and the drive to make a quality movie. Not someone wanting glamor and glitz like some others, too many to name.

I knew the critics were just being jerks when I read their reviews. It was just to different for their small minds.

Congratulations Rob, please stay true to your beliefs and don't let Hollywood misguide you. You know what you are doing.

RPLover said...

Seriously you guys, I can't go through this all again today. I've got a cold (call the waaahmbulance! LOL) and I just don't have the energy.

This is what I have to say on the topic>>>Go Rob!! That is all. :)

Anonymous said...

I love the choices that Rob is making in choosing his movie roles. Bel Ami and Water for Elephants are excellent books and should translate well from script to screen.

I also love the way he's handling this rush of fame. He proves that you don't have to lose yourself in the insanity that Hollywood throws at you.

He seems to have a really great support system with fabulous long term, loyal friends and a very loving family along with other people who are obviously very important to him.

Rob had a later start but I am convinced that he will have a great career. There is no doubt about that!

Off-topic but The Runaways is an excellent movie and KS is nothing short of outstanding in it. It is only in about 200 theatres still. That young lady has done some great work at such a young age. The criticism is uncalled for.

Deelight said...

But just read the crapola and laugh, it doesn't deserve a response. And when it crosses the line into bashing, it will be duly deleted.

Great to hear RM is doing well in foreign markets. $45 M for an indie flic with a controversial story line and midling reviews is fantastic.

AP said...

RM didn't actually make its money back from the domestic bo alone, since the studio only gets half the receipts from bo sales. However, it has done well wwide though I think 60 mil might be a bit on the optimistic side. Dvd sales will be all profit.

Twilight hasn't performed as well in Asian markets - except for South Korea - so it will be interesting to see if RM follows the pattern. In any case, it's due to Rob, and the support of fans, RM has made these numbers.

I find it a litte odd that people expected the twihards to rocket RM into a blockbuster. Twihards are just what the name says, TWIhards. They're fans of Edward & Bella, not Tyler & Ally. Now I'm sure a number of them are also Rob fans, but I don't think the ones that are strictly twihards would care about RM, or any other movie that the Twilight actors make just because they're from Twilight.

Thank you very much
I hope that there is this site for a long time and it carries on.

So on the topic that really counts: This site compiles reviews, and there are actually many positive one from industry critics.

rememberme

This, for instance, from Boxoffice Magazine, goes a long way in explaining why RM is doing well abroad:

Remember Me should satisfy and it works as a much-needed change of pace for the talented Pattinson who remains one of the most watchable of our young stars.

Amen.

do you know what's the best of being froma spain in cases like this? English is not my native language, so i don't know the meaning of words like "cum" unless i search for them in the dictionary. Moreover, i don't understand rude sentences if i don't read them carefully, so i think i'm protected, i have i language shield to protect me from bad people and bad words

I'd also like to commend the administrators of this blog.
Thanks! :)

The numbers for RM are quite good considering it only cost $16 million. The foreign box office numbers are amazing.
I think Rob pulled in a new group of fans with RM and that is good as the Twihard mania won't last forever and there is only one other movie to film (maybe two) although I think it can and should be done in one.

I have to give standing ovation to a bunch of amazing fans of Robert who shows respect for one another... and it only take 1 or 2 to ruin a lively and respectful discussion.

I like Kristen Stewart, I like her movies and I liked the Runaway! She was JJ.

End of O/T subject...

I said before that I took my friend and I paid... She like RP, but not as obsessed like I am. She gave me the money back because she loved the movie that much.

I am glad that it's making money... it is worth the price of the ticket and I think Robert is an amazing young man... he picks movie with good subject matters instead of bang, bang shoot em crap!

buff great question!!! what am i studying?? my degree is not ver known here. It's called "Social Education" literally from spanish, but i think there isn't an equivalent in another countries. It's a mix between psychology, social worker, pedagogy and sociology...more or less

We work in the social reality to improve the education of the people (not school education, i mean ideas, actitudes, values...) to make that people self-sufficient. Also, we try to make aware to the injustice in the world (i know it sounds very utopical)

My job is so wide: inmigrants, poor families, children without family, drug addcit, prostitutes, international cooperation, environment, erderly people, disable people...the list is so long. Sometimes it's hard, you se a lot of injustice

Woah!? I wondered why this post had attracted so many comments so scrolled back a bit to see what I'd missed. Honestly...

Gozde, I know you are gone for the day but would just like to say "well done" for acting to keep this such a nice civil place. Differences of opinion and lively debates are great, but that was completely beyond the pale.
Hope your interview goes well, best of luck!

Lemonless said...

Well, for once I'm glad I missed all the fun. It's fine to disagree, and even to be a dissenter from the common opinion, but it's not ok to metaphorically scratch someone's eyes out because they express their dissent in an honest but reasonable way.

Pious comments over.

And don't we all feel smug after seeing the box office figures for RM? I finally saw it (just the once so far) and felt a satisfied grin spread over my face as the credits rolled. A little out of keeping with all the young things who were bawling like babies, but that was just the cherry on the top. (Wicked and proud!)

Petra Eller said...

@Rpattzgirl probably because no one can keep up with you. But I have watched the trailers so often here at Robsessed and on" You Tube" , so no one can keep up with me. My laptop and the repeat button look taken quite a bit. They look like years older.

http://www.seher.no/840062/robert-pattisons-tante-mener-han-fryser-ut-familien

Have anyone heard that Robs aunt Diana Nutley, is saying that Robert is freezing his family out of his life and that he doesn't care to visit them for birthdays, and that he refused to come to his familys christmas celibrations?

Do you think its true? Doesn't it sound weird that a family member would confess something like that to the press??

Spunky's said...

Good For several Reasons...
1. Rob has many fans worldwide?
2. Rob's fans support him?
3. Rob CAN carry a movie by himself? (love Bronsan but we didn't see RM for Pierce...Did We? anyone?)
4. Despite Poor reviews (insulting) a major east coast storm on opening day, major competition...RM pulled it off!!!

Spunky's said...

@Victoria...

This isn't the first time Rob's aunt has spoken out about Rob.

rpattzgirl survived Rob! said...

None of that is true...Rob has gone home for Xmas the past 2 yrs that hr's been in the USA...and he's very close to his parents and sisters....They even travel with him at times, and he supports his sisters careers as well.

AP said...

Good luck for your interview, Gozde.

And @Loisada: we know who you are even if some don't...;)

Definitely people went to see RM because of Rob - even if they like the other actors. Pierce and Chris starred in a movie together, with Patricia Clarkson, that was an excellent dark comedy, but it made about three million wwide.

Is the Nuttley at it again? Sigh.

dina said...

What's wrong with Nikki Reed does anyone know? why she sounds so pissed in every interview she gives? Why she doesn't have anything kind to say about Rob and she acts like he doesn't exist. Why she is so harsh on Kristen too? Breaking dawn is round the corner how are they going to work together? They will have to be together all three of them in almost every scene. She is so mad at Rob that she will be the perfect Rose for once though.

solas said...

Wasn't there a huge crowd of relatives when he was on tv show (I think The View)?

or Perhaps he is freezing out the ones who talk about himself to the press!;-)

solas said...

Much success to you, Gozde. And we would love to have you around more, again!

Est said...

dina which interview are you refering to? or is it in general?

i don't know what's going on...Kristen and Nikki used to go together, Nikki even said K was his "best friend" (check it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbCNKoFKSVU) but now they seem so distant.

I don't know what's going on, but something's going on (or something happened)

rpattzgirl survived Rob! said...

Dina,
I haven't seen any interviews with Nikki so no idea....honestly, I don't care about anyone except, you know.....

Yes,Thank you for deleting all the nasty comments. It is really sad to read mean comments about K Stew.

I personally feel that she is an amazing actress, she is naturally pretty and very smart. Her maturity amazes me. I am envious and jealous I wish I could be her in soo many ways. I am happy for the both of them

I understand the anger toward Kristen that some have. I guess I would be spreading some venom if it were Megan Fox that Rob was rumored to be dating. So I guess I will learn from this and not spread venom ever and just spread good thoughts. The venom just makes the person writing them look foolish and shallow.

In the end it is really none of my business who he dates or what he does. I am just thankful he shares his talents and hotness with us. I love looking at all the photos of him, even the manips ( some of them)

victoria - my sister lives in so. calif. and she said a local radio station picked up on the aunt interview and she said they were impersonating the crazy aunt and rob and acted like they were talking and she said it was hilarious. as we saw he flew his family out to NY for the RM premiere and they were having one their in london. i think he seperates himself from the ones that talk BS to the tabloids.

you know we all have the one crazy person in our family, who you really dont want to have anything to do with :)

as far as nikki & kristen, who cares...BFF's or Non BFF's doesnt matter one bit.

The only scenes I liked in NM were the ones with TL in them. He is an amazing actor.Nikki said.
Then when she was asked about K-11 she said "I am out of it" she was like how dare you asking me that question. And some more I don't remember. Ah yes she said about how stupid it is to date your co-star. That such relash don't last etc etc.

Ana73 said...

dina - i really dont follow anything of nikki and i really havent seen any interviews or read any either, sorry. but maybe she is wrapped up in her man, Paris. it's kind of growse that she got paris hilton's sloppy seconds but then again half of hollywood is paris hilton's seconds LOL. thank god rob never touched that thing, Paris Hilton :))

I'm positive that if Rob made the movie with a different ending, the critics would have been kinder. Im sure Rob was well aware of the sensativity we have toward 9-11 and didnt go into this project lightly. He seemed eagar to share this story and I for appreciate it.
It seems the critics are becoming aware that the movie isnt just dissolving into thin air.

He needs a break away from everything, he deserves it. I know he's one of the most famous people in the world right now but he needs his space. People should leave him alone...screaming fans, reporters, paparazzi...
And I feel that by watching videos like that, im supporting all of this madness!..

Just dropping my two cents in regarding the crazy Aunt, Gossip Cop has already said it is complete rubbish. As have RobPattzNews and other Rob sites.

He is the most famous actor around, so be sure to take every article you read (esp. gossip rags) with a grain of salt. People will print anything to get a hit on their website or have someone buy their magazine.

Hi gays!
Oh, I just MUST share an odd experience with all of U - hope u would understand & do not think I'm a lunitic...
So, I have always been a BIG fan of the "Sex and the City". Watched all seasons, sometimes a few times, again & again.
BUT I somehow missed the movie when it came out 2008 and didn't/couldn't manage to watch it on dvd either.
BUT I found out it would be on HBO today and I decided to watch it. Alone.
So I did...I started to watch.
SUDDENLY I SAW NEW YORK, THOSE YELLOW CABS, THOSE STREETS, THOSE APARTMENTS, HIGH BUILDINGS, CENTRAL PARK...
And Carrie and Miranda and Samantha and Charlotte...
But the only thing I COULD see & think of was TYLER KEATS HAWKINS in New York city & Remember ME...
I felt the same sadness & heartbreak as I felt there sitting in the darkness & painfull silence at the cinema, watching Tyler slowly go towards the window in his dads office...
Oh, it's so good I was alone at home that moment cause while Carrie & her gorgeous girlfriends walked around New York's streets in their fancy Manolo Blahnik-high heels, all smiley & happy & optimistic & so in love - I was just crying like a child & picturing Rob's face there at the window - peacefull & somehow happy... Just couldn't help it.
Did I make any sense? At all? Sorry if I didn't. Had to share it anyway
Hugs
