oh, i feel sorry for you Sunshine. on monday i will go for the fourth time. and i'll have eyes only on Robward. Yes, dina, Edward in the tent scene is simply beautiful. if i weren't robsessed, then iwould be now. But i'm robsessed for a year in the end of july.

I agree with DessertFirst, I just saw Eclipse for the 3rd time and Rob's performance is amazing he shows a depth and maturity in this film that is BRILLIANT.
Kristen and Rob turn in astounding performances and are able this time to convey more with a look than any dialogue. The films just keep getting better, David Slade did a fantastic job.

really leslie,you miss his sideburns,to me i wish rob could always have his hair this way like WFE,but after he finish the sagas thank god they are filming back to back,then he can cut his hair once more like this new hair cut,he looks young as he suppose to be looking!the WFE cut

Long rant.. Not a nice rant warning!
Anyway, so I just got back from seeing Eclipse. I have never been a fan of the movies, the books are so much better and the first two movies were just cringe worthy.
So I had read a few reviews that said Eclipse was a bit better so I thought, what the hell.. I'll go see it.
It is possibly one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my entire life.
There's not many films I have sat and watched and literally just laughed out loud at the acting but I did this continously through the WHOLE movie.
From the start to the finish it was just utter rubbish, should be shredded.
The plot is so weak, the visual effects are SHOCKING. There is nothing dark, enchanting, sad nor even eternally romantic about this movie.
Taking the budget into consideration.. I would of thought the fighting scenes/killing vampires would of been at least average but they were abysmal.
The editing was so choppy.
Rob Rob Rob, I'm a fan of him because I like that he is very into music and reading, seems really down to earth.. NOT because he is "Edward omfg"
Putting that aside, he was shockingly bad in the movie. The pouting was just beyond ridiculous and his make up as usual was just so over the top. Pretty much every time he was on the big screen, I was laughing out loud out of sheer embarrassment mainly because the acting was just so so poor. Dull, wooden, stiff.
All of them just weren't believable in their roles which is bound to make a movie flop.
Taylor.. It's like the directors know the movies are shockingly shit so they feel the need for Taylor to always have his top off so tweenies flock to the theatre to see him.
He looked like a little boy kissing Kristen and I couldn't watch him on the screen with hyperventilating middle aged women behind me.. Very disturbing. There's nothing sexy about a short 17 year old boy with a six pack. Yes I should remind women that he is a BOY not a man, was rather disgusting hearing women in their 30's discussing how good looking he is.
Kristen kristen kristen, her wig was awful. Her acting was awful, cringe worthy.
I won't even get started on the rest of the cast.
The cheesiness of the film reached a whole new level, constant long silences, stupid dialogue, ugh!
I wanted to try and like the movie for my friends sake.. But I was weeping more and more inside as the time went along.
I give the film 1 out of 10. 0.5 for the excellent butter popcorn and 0.5 for showing the new harry potter trailer.

@x_Catherine_x, what you should have done sincee the movie was so bad, the other movie goers was annoying you... the smartest thing you should have done was to ask for your money bad... you wouldn't have wasted two plus hours and then you wouldn't have to come here and post a loooooooooong hate fill opinion on a thread that is not the spoilery thread.
Ow well, this is why I love this Blog... everyone can post an opinion once you are not rude to other posters.
I am reading all you girls have written about the movie and I am like I must have watched another movie. I will go tomorrow to make sure.

@Dina, I agree with you, apart from covering my eyes where B/J kissed... every B/E scenes was great for me. I missed him so much in NM. The E/V fight scene. The Cullens at home. B/C chat, the B/R visit. Edward playing his favourite peice of music when Bella came by that night. Him opening the door asking her whey she outside. The firt Meadow and last Meadow scenes. RP looked so like book Edward there, absolutely beautiful that he hurt my eyes.
The desperate look in his eyes when V/R had him and thought Bella would die if he didn't win the fight. The way he ripped her shirt to tie her arm where she's cuts herself to distract Victoria and Riley.
Last but not least... didn't see much of Seth out of Wolf form but love the way he jumped on Riley so Edward could finished off Victoria.
Oh heck... off to bug a friend to find when we can go again.
