My Remember Me Set Adventure






For those who know how to read:



I got wind of Rob Pattinson's Remember Me set location yesterday, June 15th. Robert Pattinson fan that I am (foot face, greasy hair and all), I mozied over to the vicinity via subway and snooped around with my friend and one of her gays.

I arrived and discovered a lot of lingering onlookers and a more or less vacant set. I used my keen snoop senses and discovered a gathering of females of all ages as well as a few men. Judging by their sharpie pens, cameras and chosen reading material, I gathered they were Robert Pattinson and/or Twilight fans. Contrary to popular belief, they weren't all overweight or pre-pubescent. I saw some girls in school uniforms and others flanked by their enabling parents.

I learned the crowd was surrounding a trailer where Rob was taking his lunch break. I joined the crowd and waited. I reminded some girls that it would not be prudent to startle Rob or ask to be bitten once he descended from his trailer like a hot piece of English trailer trash.

In the meantime, Rob's co-star, Emilie de Ravin, smoked on the steps. No one gave two shits that she was there. I almost felt sorry for her, but then remembered that she played Tess on Roswell (that bitch!) and withdrew my sympathy.

Finally, Rob appeared and a rainbow materialized over his face. Must have been the ~dazzle.

Wesley Snipes and Dr. Phil could not have anticipated what would come next.


Rob tried to remain polite and smile even though 200 or so people were closing in on him.

What followed was terrifying. Think the Beatles' being chased through the streets in A Hard Day's Night.

Hundreds of people swarmed around Rob as he and his handlers tried to round the corner to walk to the set. There were people on all sides of him running, screaming and generally going hospital Bella. He walked extremely slowly since there was no way to walk quickly. He looked down and tried to remain calm. I was pushed through the crowd and nearly got trampled.

Finally, Rob reached the bulding that was their destination and sprinted in. My friends and I had nothing else to do and chilled next to a park while much of the crowd repositioned itself around the set.

Rob stayed inside for a bit until fiming recommenced. He and a co-star did some filming and sound work on the street corner directly opposite from where we stood.

Afterwards, Rob et al went inside the school building to film a classroom scene. Most of the onlookers were gone by then, mostly because the skies had opened decided to piss all over us.

Anyway, back to Robert.

We eventually got sick of waiting around for him in the rain, but were lucky enough to see him return to his trailer to change before he called it a day.

Rob in his normal clothes, happy to get the fuck away from the mobs and drama.

I'm too old for this shit, but am so glad I got to see him in the flesh, looking good, smelling good. (Gozde: I say this to myself everyday :))

You know these magazines are good (in an evil way)! They never give up. They plant the seeds of doubt in your head. They sound SO sure with no evidence.

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that’s certainly the case for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the Twilight co-stars whose incendiary screen passion has exploded into their real lives.

Rob is in NYC for the summer, shooting a somber independent film called Remember Me (click here for details on that film!), while Kristen is back in L.A., working on The Runaways, a rock biopic in which she portrays music legend Joan Jett.

That the young, white-hot stars are more than mere friends is beyond dispute. “It’s no secret that their relationship has been heating up these past few months,” says a source close to the couple, who recently completed New Moon, the second film in the Twilight saga. “They are attracted to each other, and there is definitely something very special going on between them.”

Something very complicated, too. For Rob and Kristen form two sides of a compelling love triangle: Kristen is evidently still involved with her longtime boyfriend, actor Michael Angarano, and as OK! reported last week, Rob wants that romantic geometry simplified, one way or the other, no later than October, when he and Kristen start filming the third Twilight movie, Eclipse. “Rob is constantly texting and calling Kristen to ‘check in,’ ” the source says. “He’s invited her and their New Moon co-star Dakota Fanning to fly to New York and hang out with him and his friends some weekend — his treat.” (Gozde: Ooooh, it's Rob's treat! LMAO:))

New Moon Trailer Before "The Proposal"

The hdroom.com confirms the rumor that the New Moon trailer will premiere before in theaters before the Ryan Reynolds-Sandra Bullock flick "The Proposal".

Earlier this evening I attended a press screening for the new romantic comedy The Proposal starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. It is a moderately amusing film wrapped in a formulaic "chick flick" pita but that's not the reason for this post.
The first trailer that ran in front of The Proposal was none other than Summit Entertaiment's The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
The audience let out a low roar when the Summit logo came up and then you could hear a pin drop with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson on screen. Then when Taylor Lautner appeared sans shirt... well, let's just say there are a lot of fan girls out there. The screaming continued right through the wolf transformation so I tried to focus my hearing on the guy behind me yelling "booo!" to deflect the annoying shrieks.
When The Proposal's final box office numbers for this weekend come in keep Twilight in mind. I wouldn't be surprised if a few million dollars aren't solely the result of Twilighters forking out $10 to see their beloved New Moon trailer on the big screen.
I'll give it this much: the wolf sounds a lot more menacing with the added wattage behind him. Too bad his "not quite there yet" rendering shortcomings are accentuated when blown up on the big screen.

We all know that MOST Robert Pattinson fans are normal (almost normal:)) that they respect his personal space, that they don't look under bathroom stalls, that even though we call him God a lot, they know he is a normal person who is just doing his job and we all know that they hang out at ROBsessed all day ;)

We adore him, we like looking at him, we LOVE watching his movies, interviews and we support him.

There are fans like the fans that our Trixie reported from NYC yesterday or the fan that was at the same bar as Rob and didn't even take a picture or the fan that bumped into him at NYU yesterday (from TwiCrackAddict.com):

I totally agree with all the comments made about the lack of respect that was shown to Rob yesterday while filming. I am an NYU student and I was there before I had to go to one of my classes, and the pandemonium was even more intense that the pictures or video make it out to be. I am a fan of Rob myself, but I understand that he is WORKING and isn't some circus side show for people to oogle at. I stayed behind the barricades and watched from where the producers told us to. But some of those girls, and I did see the "girls" that made it into the video, were relentless. Every time that he was minutely unprotected they rushed him to try and get autographs and pictures. It was disgusting.

When it was time for me to go to class I walked into the building where most of NYU's classrooms are and just happened to see Rob standing by the elevators apparently trying to escape the craziness outside. (They were also using the building for other movie purposes as well) I approached him very nicely and ASKED him if I could take a picture with him and he was more than nice. He asked me if I went to school at NYU and told him I was actually on my way to class. I commented on the hysteria outside and he laughed. So I hope that I was able to show him that not all fans are as batsh-t crazy as the ones that were mobbing him.

Ashley Greene has apparently gotten over her alleged crush on Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson. Greene is reportedly getting cozy with Entourage star Adrian Grenier. (Gozde: They added the "alleged" because they are the ones alleging it. I've never heard this one before and I hear a lot of crap :))

Sources tell People magazine that the couple met for the first time Friday and spent the rest of the weekend together. “They hit it off. [They] really had a great time,” says a source.

Greene and Grenier spent time together Saturday before taking surf lessons. Later that night, they met for dinner and dancing at El Captain Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. A witness says the pair was "flirting and dancing close all night long.”

“[They] got super cozy all weekend. They were very cute. They were hanging out nonstop and they only met Friday. They spent the whole time together – surfed together – everything,” the source adds.

Greene was linked to Pattinson earlier this year. Grenier has previously dated Isabel Lucas and been linked to Paris Hilton.

Gozde: Nikki, Kristen and now Ashley :) I guess Elizabeth is next or maybe Jackson, he is pretty.
