Dani - I totally understand what you're saying. My daughter just turned two and I'm about two months along with our second now. I felt like it was the right time to have another but it's scary. Sometimes I feel like I can barely manage one. Plus, I forgot what morning sickness was like. Ugh...I just want to lay around all day but my toddler doesn't seem okay with that. :) Plus, Lynn got me thinking that the trend of babies getting bigger with each birth is pretty common. My first was 9 1/2 pounds. I'm not sure I can manage anything bigger.

Got to the hospital 8cm dialated no pain. Then the pain came but epidural was bliss.

And onto Rob... yes to Guess. No to being breastfed - the only reason I say that Jovie is because it's only just coming back "in style" over there. When I took my daughter to visit my family when she was six months old people were freaked out that we were breastfeeding still. So odd. It's been outta style for some time...

I know what you mean, Dana. With my daughter, I pushed for 3 1/2 hours. They had to use forceps and have another doctor bracing himself against the bed, pushing on my stomach to get her out. But, at the risk of sounding very sappy, as soon as they laid her on my I knew I would do it all again. Just not anytime soon. :) And I totally agree, Dani. when they send you home with your baby and say, "Okay, here you go. Good luck and no, they don't come with an instruction manual. Don't screw up!" That's the scary part.

I wish I knew more about designers but I'm going to trust your judgements. What wouldn't Rob look good in? I dare say there isn't one scrap of clothing he could put on that he wouldn't rock.; December 5, 2008 at 12:05 AM
