New Year's Resolution - to not spend so much time online searching, finding pix and reading about Rob. Rather than sitting here on my ass...........I'm going to get out of my chair and MOVE! Yes, I said it.......OUT LOUD........are you afraid............NO!
Reality is there whether we like it or not and we have to deal with it.......I've had a nice trip away from it for a while but it's time to get back to it and deal with real people. Seeing the realization of R/K together yesterday has made me do it.
Bye Rob - you've been a wonderful diversion and I'm sure I'll check on you now and then.......just not 10 times a day every day or have any more sleepless nights over you.

I understand. I had to step away for a while cause my Robsession was taking too much time away from my kids. As much as I love Rob I can't spend endless hours on the computer. Now I have to take it in small doses, except during the RM and Eclipse promotion tours, lol.

Sometimes I feel like I have taken valuable time away from RL looking for my Rob fix, but, then I need a diversion,too. It makes me happy to Robsess!!! Hope we'll be hearing from you in Texas from time to time. You can curb w/o totalling stepping away...right? Enjoy.

i cant give up my Rob,yes i may bitch and complain about certain things but when the smoke clears and i calm down all i have left is my love for my Robby,

i think maybe this is one of the many reasons Rob keeps denying the relash ,because he dont want to upset his huge 95% female fan base,Rob's fans are very posessive of him ,they DO NOT want to share him with any woman lol

Me too!! I do spend a lot of time here, but housework still gets done (well, as much as it ever did, Martha I'm not! LMAO) my kids are taken care of, I still have a good relationship with my husband...I'm not trading my RL for my Robsession, I'm having fun and this is something that is just for ME and we all need a happy place to go.
I'm not southern, but maybe I can get a pass from y'all-I ain't goin' no where...neither!

This is my happy place, and I will stay with Rob as long as I can. There has never been any actor who impressed me as Rob has. I´m thankful that he is in my life!
I am totally ROBsessed and love it. Just look at Rob and how can you not be. I don't care if he is with someone, he should be, I love him to be happy. I might have to cut back when RL intervenes but when I have the time I jump on the computer and go right to ROBsessed. Thank you and Rob for making my RL better.

I don't think rob's fooled anyone actually. He's in a bit of a corner, because there's so many different "factions" in his fandom that are very insistent on how he lives his life. I agree his fans are too possessive of him too!
My feelings are good hell, the guy is 23, stop treating him like he's 12 year old wuss, he knows what's best for him. lol
And Robert is the Sexiest single around, no doubt about it. He's sexy with a boyish charm, winning combination.

I often feel a twinge of guilt regarding my time away from family with my Rob addiction. But, then again, it is cheaper than therapy and a great diversion from life when I need to escape and its less fattening than drinking.
I am here to stay. Rob's love life is not an issue for me. I want him happy and if he is, I am. I am sure he would not have an opinion on who I am married to, so I will give him the same courtesy as to who he spends his time with.

I don't post often; but have to share I decided to step away from the addiction today and go see Sherlock Holmes. Was feeling good about it until on the big screen was Rob with the Remember Me trailer. Geez, that worked out well.
This maybe boring, but I'd like to hear how y'all got ROBsessed. Someone posted that she saw the movie, then saw some interviews on YouTube, and that was it..been here ever since. Kind of mirrors what happened to me. I'm thinking that most here aren't about Edward, but discovered that guy behind the character with the plethora of interviews and photos following Twilight opening. Just curious? Sharing our obsesssion is definitely cheaper than therapy, and unfortunately I can't share it with anyone I know. I cannot imagine maneuvering my obsession around a DH and children.

@lallieb, short answer to how I got here? Round about.
Long answer: One of my sons gave me Twilight (book) last January for my birthday---whereby I promptly placed it in my closet (because I was still hung up writing ff in another universe for a different vampire---by the name of Angel). Worlds would have collided and all... Well, come June, on vacay in HI (fab, btw), I go through all of the books I'd packed except for Twi by mid-week. DEVOURED Twi in just mere hours and ended up buying the rest of books at the nearest B&N. Yeah. Bought Twi movie the minute we landed; watched it every day for a month. It was probably around August when I started poking around online for anything Twi-related. Lurked at a couple of places, re-read all 4 books (plus MidSun, et all other excerpts on SM's page) over and over and over, pre-ordered NM tix on Fandango for midnight show and got caught up in the NM press tsunami.
This was my fav place to visit; can't remember when I de-cloaked and finally posted; probably sometime in November.
Robsessed just felt...right. The Pretty aside, it's nice to find like-minded people to share a laugh or two. That and the fact that Rob is waaaay HOTTER than Edward. IMO. (And Gwen tried to resist the evil that is ff---of this she knows from TWO other universes---but resistance was, indeed, futile. Sigh. Poor Gwen.)
I jokingly posted this yesterday---Hubs was just saying that I spend a lot of time with "Edward". I may have told him that this blog is "like a book club". (Hubs is very supportive of both my obsessive reading and of my writing efforts, even ff.) My sons are teens---and hey, I like to remind my eldest that my whole Rob thing is all his fault. Darn Twilight book pusher.
Hey, Hubs has his hobbies (as do my sons); Rob is mine! NB all the way! Gwen likes it here.

I missed the original release of Twilight. I saw it at the discount theater near by in February. I went with a friend. We both walked out in shock. Saying, damn that was one hot vampire (she likes Edward, not Rob). Noted his name and went home. Told myself I was too old for celebrity crushes and attempted to forget.
I was interested in reading the books, after seeing the movie. Read them all in a matter of days. Then thought about the release of the DVD. Knew it must be soon, since the movie was at the discout theater. Searched it and got the date. There was a picture of Rob on the cover.
That was my undoing. Started searching for info. Came across many sites. None were comfortable. Found Robsessed and liked Gozde's humor and BS detector. Lurked a little, looking at pics and reading info. I still felt stupid and alone. Then one day I clicked on the comments. I was freaking HOME. I have been here everyday since. It took me forever to start commenting, I am so glad I did. I have Nb buddies that really enjoy chatting with daily. Love it here!

..Adult daughter recommended the Twilight book circa Oct. '08. Was immediately drawn into Edward/Bella relationship. Read rest of saga ASAP and couldn't stop thinking about E/B. Then absolutely fell for Rob in Twilight trailers, went to midnight showing, etc. Have been a Robsessed mess ever since. I really like being a mess where Rob is concerned. It just makes me feel damn good!! Like Gwen& ADM I feel like Robsessed is the right place to be. My children tolerate my obsession, while shaking their heads. (Who cares!!!!!!!) My husband is fantastic. He totally goes along w/me, calls me into the room if Rob is on the news and is really supportive. He's a jewel. But Rob is definitely my passion.
@ADM, LHR-Us southern girls stand by our men through thick and thin. (pardon my grammar)
