Robert Pattinson does a little dance :)

From People.com

Robert Pattinson Plays Eccentric Painter Salvador Dalí

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson dons a mustache – and a heavy accent – for his next role as Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí in Little Ashes. PEOPLE has an exclusive clip of the movie, which is set in 1922 and focuses on Dalí as a young man in love with the poet Federico GarcÍa Lorca, played by Javier Beltrán. Check out Pattinson as the eccentric artist in a charged encounter with Lorca – and Dalí's wife. Little Ashes opens in late March.

Gozde: Rob does a little dance then strikes a pose :)

This was uncomfortable to watch. I know that's the point. I love Dali Rob. So oddball - still hot.

Oh man... Rob's little Dali dance... I couldn't help it, it made me giggle big time.

I absolutely love how Rob immerses himself and totally gets lost in the characters he plays.

It's incredible the way Rob plays his characters, in this clip he's absolutely Dali, not Rob.. gah, can't wait to see this movie, can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

MiCh, we have a seat saved for you!

He really throws himself into character. I love it. The lean in.... ooooh, shiver.

What a funny little Dali dance.

He looks so small in this scene...it's the first time I've ever gotten that impression. He also looks way too young for the wife. I know the movie will be fantastic though, and I can't wait to see it!

This is a brilliant actor! How fortunate we are to know him at the beginning of what will surely be an astounding career . . . so totally different from every other role I have ever seen him in! Geez, I'm amazed. This guy's going to win an Oscar someday :)
WOW!!!

And when he wins his Oscar, we can really show them what a Mountain Screamer can do!!!

Thanks for posting this.. it's a perfect holiday gift.

LOL My friends and I always wanted to mess with those "just for statistical reasons" surveys by answering that we were all Native Eskimo. We were quite the smart asses!

That was brilliant!
Can't wait to see that movie!
I wonder what was rob thinking at the moment, though.
Thanks 4 the post :)

I love the little dance! And, I can't wait to see the movie.

Lilly -- Yeah, he looks young for the wife because in real life, Gala was 10 years older than Dali :) I agree about the height, he looks small.. I think is all about the camera position, Rob and Javier seem to be almost the same height..

Kat--can't wait for March: two Radiohead concerts in my OWN country and then a whole weekend with the Robkats, wow, that will be the Heaven!

And once again I'm back to imagining Rob whispering in my ear. He could keep the goofy moustache on for all I care and he can take a drag off his cigarette beforehand too. He could speak in English, Spanish, Pig Latin...I really couldn't care less. Okay, his British accent would be preferable but whatever, I'm not picky.

Thanks for posting this snippet. Made my night:) Just checked out a book from my local library called "Dali's Moustache". It was written by Salvador Dali and a very famous photographer at the time. If you haven't seen it you MUST find it. It looks like it was meant for children, but it is totally serious as a work of art in itself. You think THIS moustache is funny ~ you GOTTA see this book!

keely said...

Hi everyone! He is unbelivable and they should´ve paid him thousands of pounds just for that dance. I can easily imagine him laugh about that scene afterwards!

Because I know a lot about Rob and seen all his work and interviews countless times, i'm finding it really hard to take this movie seriously lol. Oh well, i really hope he gets an oscar nomination for it!
