"Remember Me" Saturday - Todays The Day

We posted about Remember Me Saturday before but if you don't know the marvelous fan movement here it is in a nutshell: If you went to see the movie yesterday we want you to GO AGAIN TODAY

Take your friends to see it not because Rob is in it but because it's been getting great reviews and is a GOOD movie! If your theater isn't playing Remember Me call them and tell them about it! Ask them politely that you and TONS of lusty women would LOVE to see it :) Let's make Remember Me a box office hit together. Let's put our money where our love/lust/heart is :) You can buy your tickets HERE and do something for Robert Pattinson! *fist in the air!*

The ladies at Remember me Saturday have been working on this fan movement for months and they and the fans even got a Thank You from Rob himself!

Robert Pattinson deserves to have a BIG opening weekend. Let's show everyone we got his back! Let's show Rob how much we love him :)

You can check if it plays at a theater near you and purchase your tickets at this link :)

BIG thanks to Remember me Saturday for driving this movement!

So how well did it do yesterday in the States? Did the movie was successful with the tickets selling? I hope so! I can't wait to know about it. It's so unfair that we, in France, have to wait until next month to be able to watch it! and in the meantime, I don't want to know anything about the movie and you guys are going to share your ideas and memories about it! but that's great for you.

I would LOVE to be a part of Remember Me Saturday! BUT ....
@Robine, I have the same problem.
The movie won't be out 'til April 7th.

Too bad b/c it's my birthday today & my girls are taking me to see a movie tonight. I would have picked Remember Me, no competition!
Really looking forward to April 7th :)

Go to boxoffice.com.(predicts a 3rd place finish behind Alic and Green Zone!!!) Interesting that this article says it is teen girl driven. How many of you on here are teens? It is only playing in 2000+ theaters and Alice in 3,600-a wider release would have been nice. You would think that after the Twilight boxoffice clout that Summit would have more power? The Twitter traffic is fantastic so let's keep going to see Remember Me!

I asked the question about how many are teens here as I went to the first show of Remember Me on Friday morning. I live in a rural, college town in Northern CA and the audience was college age girls and middle aged women like me. Two of the middle aged women had their husbands/boyfriends with them as did one college aged girl. It as 11:30 am and there were no teens in the audience at all as it was a school day. Going with my daughter and neighbor to see Remember Me this afternoon. Go see Remember Me!!!

Hi ladies! I'm going to the 2:40 show today with my 84 year old grandma-def not a teen. LOL! Went last night with the hubby-he's not a teen either. ;) The theater was over half full. Lots of women, a few guys, very few young gals or teens. This was in Jackson, TN.

@femroc-Me too! ;)

@Kathy-Thanks for the info.! I saw on twitter it had sold out in
Miami at least. Let's hope it comes in second instead of Green Zone. ;)

@Robine: b.o. numbers aren't tallied until the next morning and usually out by the early afternoon. For a weekend they will give Friday actuals on Sat, Saturday actuals and an estimate for Sunday, on Sunday afternoon. Sunday actuals are known by Monday afternoon. Check out the website BoxOffice Mojo for figures.

update: THR has issued estimated figs of 3.6 mil for Friday, putting RM in third place behind Alice and Green Zone. It's on track, so far, to do as expected, but not exceptional, meaning Rob can open but without a large guarantee. We'll see after Sat...

Interesting people mention not seeing teens in their cinemas - sounds like, so far, RM is not drawing out many from that section of the Twi fanbase. However, as I said, elsewhere, I am at 'acceptance' re b.o. I know Rob said the money matters more, in a way, and not the work, but I think the work is more important to the path he's taking...

I must say reading all the good fan reviews, makes me a bit jealous that some have already seen it!

I'm going to try to see it as soon as possible, even though I don't like sad endings...I will be taking a box of tissues with me.

Anyways I am glad that many of those who have seen it say that the love story is well done, and that the acting is very good all around...

Astrid, where are you from? and happy birthday lol. So what are you going to see at the movies tonight? I went to see Lovely Bones last tuesday and it was awesome; nearly cried 3 times but held on cos it'd have been quite embarrassing lol but I indeed had tears in my eyes.

Kathy S, and I'm not a teenager anylonger either lol. Thanks for the link.

AP, thanks too and I hope the figures will turn out way better than the estimated ones; it should be lol.

Ok, I said I wasn't concerned about b.o. and yet here I am again...lol Last word: a little perspective on any possible disappointment: Bandslam only made 2.5m for for the whole opening weekend, and about 5.7m for its domestic run. RM is definitely not in that category.

KathyS: How's the Twitter traffic for the other movies? That is, how does RM's traffic compare?
Do you think Twitter traffic will boost box office? Twitter is such a new thing, really, but does it have that much influence?

Check Film.com review. It gives RM A-, the best any film gets, and gives Green Zone a much lower rating. It'll make you feel good to read it.

So many people--esp. guys--go to action/intrigue flicks (I call them dick flics) that have very little merit, flimsy plots and average acting. They want explosions, accidents, etc.; it's the rubbernecking brand of viewing.

Twitter tracking is high for Remember Me but not as high as teen movies. Guess teens twitter more than adults(that makes sense as they are more open to new forms of communication) Google Twitter tracking Remember Me, that's how I saw the figures. Just talked via telephone with a very old friend and she said she has heard good things but knows there is a sad ending. She says she will go see it.

Been twice, going again tonight and again tomorrow. I may go every day this week since I am on spring break. I just love the movie and Rob in it. Can't wait for it to be available to purchase because this one is definitely going in my video library.

Oh god, is it that good! looks so lol! I can't wait to watch it! so jealous of you guys! I wish I could ask you which scenes you liked best but I won't cos I don't want to know anything about it; I'm spoiler free. Have fun with watching it over and over! then it'll be my turn I guess.

Some Movies are so memorable simply because they're so totally forgettable.

"Remember Me" is so incredibly memorable because it is simply unforgettable.

It's a beautiful reminder of how precious this gift we call life really is.

Go see this astounding movie.

we couldn't find a fun movie so we went out for cocktails!

I want to see The lovely Bones, but I'm pretty sure I'll cry too!
Was it good?
