I'm glad, we will see Riley's change but there is so much Riley in the script, more than I expected.
And love the Jessica's speech.
But, I want to see more Edward and Bella scenes. I hope they extended Edward and Bella's scenes or added some more from the book.

Ok, I just read it!! I think the script is pretty good but I hope there will be some changes. Moreover the director plays a major role so we can't have a clear opinion about the movie yet.
I agree with everything RPG say about the script!
So here are my thoughts about it!
I understand that it'll be a 2 hr movie, so many parts of the book will be missed. I'd like to see 3 things, though, that are not included in the script:
1) Edward giving the diammond heart to Bella ("It's hard and cold. And it throws rainbows in the sunlight. My heart is just as silent. And it, too, is yours.")
2) The whole dialogue between Bella and Edward after her kissing Jacob. (You know, the "fight back, make me forget him, make me forget me own name etc" part!)
3) The whole dialogue after Bella punches Jacob.
Less Riley, more E&B would be nice!
I like all of the back stories. This movie will be huge (not time wise)!
Jacob always makes me wanna punch him while reading the book. Fortunatelly I didn't want to do so (at least not that much) while reading the script!
I hope David Slade and anyone of the cast who feel some parts of the script don't work will change them like R&K did in NM.
I can't wait for the movie! I hope there won't be so many spoilers this time. When I went to see NM I was feeling like I had aldready seen half the movie.

What i don't understand with twilight fans is why people are so mean with MR?

You can't put everything from the book into a movie. It doesn't work so people should just get over it.
It's called an adaptation.
I for one is very grateful with wath she did with the book.
I'm going to start with edward, here she writes edward character better than SM, here he doesn't look totally like a control freacked. He looks more human. And even his protective side that people likes that creeps me out is ok here. In the script with the new born army builded from the star you understand why the guys is so freacked out all the time.
He is funnier and more cynical here in a good way.
Bella, she is less annoying in this script than in the books. And her relationship with the other just seems more sincere here than in the book. It doesn't look like she is using everyone like in the book. And thanks to MR we don't have the i'm not beautiful enough, i don't want this but i don't know why, and all that crap. She is more likeable.

Unfortunately, much too much taycob..and just like NM, MR likes him and takes out all the parts in the book that made him annoying...and makes Edward say all these cheesy lines *Sigh* i hope i hope i hope this is not the final..because if it is..I may also only see this once.

Wow, that took about 10 minutes to find. I know, why do I care - I've read the book! - it's because there's still a part of me that's obsessed with all things Twilight. Come on June!
i absolutely loved the script! well MR!
i dont get why ppl are saying it isnt good cos:
a) ofcourse we want more B&E interaction, but i dont know why, but i felt that their relationship was more real in this one than in the 3rd book?
b) bella was less of a pain. i hated her character in the 3rd book (and i generally love her character). but to me she was selfish and was using both guys. but this script doesnt portray her like that, so thats a bonus!
c)ppl are going on about how its not nice how theres too much riley, etc. im sorry, but IMO i think thats wat made the script good: the deeper portrayal of other character other than the main trio. like jasper and rosalie. riley was used to show viewers who havent read the book what is going on with the army, etc. i think it was a smart move
d)i love edward in this and i think the same way how team jacob supporters increased in NM, most will be converting back to team edward :P

@Solas, I know! Honestly, the answer of 3rd person-speak is because I've so many voices in my head. LOL, but seriously. I, being the author of waaaay too many ONGOING 1st person stories at the moment---and several 2nd and 3rd POVs too---have to let them speak when they want. (Yes, most of my RL friends know this too.)

As a note... even if this was the final script (which it's not), it doesn't mean things don't change. Films are written 3 times - first on the page (with the script), second on the set (actors or directors change things), and third in the editing room. I love reading scripts then watching the movie to see what changed. Depending on who is involved, things can change a lot!

can't do it, I really truly hope Jackson doesn't get too much heat from the leak and in a sense it will take away from the final product the cast and directors have all worked so hard on. it's right up there with my aversion to watching a bootleg of New Moon, just can't do it folks, just my perspective.

Just my 2 cent here. I liked the script and I think it´s the best so far. More funny quotes, better dialoges, less annoying Bella, shows better the relationship between Bella and Edward, the fight scene etc...
The Riley part was done great, nice to nice outside from Bella´s mind.
I can´t wait to see how they´re going to play it.
Let´s just understand what was said here about not everything we want will be there, as it didn´t happen so far...
Other though I had: it´s written jackson´s name on the script but it doesn´t mean it was really him who leaked, it can be other person who had in the first place. We´ll just have to wait to see what´s gonna be talked about these and what summit will say.

With that said, I think the script sucks. Again. Don't get me wrong, I like what this woman did to Dexter, but come on, she spoils the whole damn plot. And Summit won't even try someone else...
There are a lot of cheesy lines in the script. Some of them worse than the silly forest jumping scene in New Moon (wth does that!) I'll sure go see the film once it's out, but I'm afraid I'll be disappointed.
Couldn't help myself. Just read the script. Loved it. Loved it. Very pleased with the adaption.
My only complaint though is the last scene. First, one of my favorite parts of Eclipse is the negotiation that happens between Edward and Bella regarding how far they're going to go sexually - will they do it or won't they? Bella is the one intent on going all the way while she's human, whether she's married or not; but marriage is a precondition for Edward. HOWEVER, there is one scene where they flip sides and Edward is willing to deflower her (yahoo!). That scene is at the end of the book as they lie in the meadow together. There was no hanky-panky written into the final scene. None. Big bummer.
Loved the books for Bella and Edward and all their juiciness. Love the movies for Kristen and Rob. I hope that the chemistry they brought to the screen in Twilight (but kind of lacked in New Moon) will make me swoon in Eclipse. Bring it!
I was really looking forward to seeing the seduction scene with Edward and Bella, hope they don't move past that to quickly.

The end part of the script had made me confused. Bella had the ring then took it out after the engagement and Edward was asking about it (why she's not wearing it) before they went up to the mountains. Then in the end Edward took it out of his pocket when Bella was asking for it. I was like, Ha???

RobPattinsonsgirl, it appears from reading the script that time has passed from when the fight with the newborns took place and the meadow scene at the end. It would probably take Edward only a couple of seconds to search Bella’s room from top to bottom and locate the ring.
I know that this is only a draft, but I really enjoyed the script. Glad that there were Cullen scenes ( i missed my fav vamp family in New Moon) as well as good E/B scenes. Loved the proposal scene, better than the book IMO. I hope the shooting script stays close to this draft.
So grateful that Bella crying in Edwards arms after she lets Jacob down was eliminated. HATED that scene in the book. I hope they do not change the script and add the waterworks.

I'm still reading, but I had to comment on something. I'm glad to see that the scene with Charlie after Jake kisses Bella & she breaks her hand is different. In the book Charlie's attitude is all "at least it wasn't that Cullen kid who kissed her", & that shit really drove me crazy. I have no idea what SM was thinking when she wrote it, but having the police chief act that way when his own daughter comes home with broken bones after what is essentially a sexual assault, drove me absolutely crazy. I'm glad he at least shows some anger.
Suggestion: if you requested a copy of the script & included your email address in the post, after you get it, go back & delete your post. Anybody can pick it up & spam you or worse. I was going to contact the board & mention it, but the contact us thing is gone? Anybody know where it is?
1 thing i complain is when bella jump to ride with jacob in front of edward, cos she angry with him for lying to her.

Not sure I want to read the script I just got lots of spoilers from all the comments I kept on reading everywhere, what bothers me is what I've gathered from all the comments and that is, Eclipse just like NM will be an epic fail in the E/B romance and will omit many of the good moments that emphasize that romance...and that many other insignificant moments(other characters, wolfpack, J/B romance,etc.) will be emphasized much much more...I think I've kind of lost interest in the saga, all these personal/corporate interpretations of the original story just diluted the essence of what made it interesting in the fist place(not that it's some great and epic literary work or anything) however,many LOVED it for the beautiful love story behind all the strangeness of the genre. So I don't know how much interest Eclipse will hold for me, or if I will really enjoy watching it! I know I'll love all the E/B moments though :)

One thing that strikes me is that it is not in Bella's POV alone and so we see less of Edward/Bella moments that are dear to so many of us; I suppose this is in order to give more of a background to those who haven't read the saga. (I really wonder at this point if nonTwlight fans will go these movies unless with a girlfriend/mother/daughter anyway, and IMHO Summit should have just given up on drawing in more people and just worked ot bring the books to life for the fans).

I like it for the most part, think she did a good job of consolidating a bunch of scenes into one, but too much on the newborns, and too much on the wolves. Could have lived without the whole wolf soiree, who cares. Leave the leg hitch scene in. Leads up well to the seduction scene that way. Could have lived without Jessica's speech too I guess. Liked the end, no crying over Jake, but I wanted to hear "I want you, right now." GAH. Oh well, here's hoping she saw the light in her re-writes! Overall I like it. Can't freakin wait!!
