That reviewer is a complete knobhead, could he be anymore poisonous? Most of the negative reviews have been incredibly personal with very little objectivity, surely they should be a bit more professional. Are the reviews at this stage swinging towards negative or are they still mixed?

I can't even BELIEVE the tagline on that article says 'his FORGETTABLE new movie'!! Friggin' mean & unnecessary and I didn't even read the damn article yet.

I just saw remember me and I thought it was really good. I am not saying it just because I am a fan of Rob. In general I do not read reviews because everyone has different criteria for what makes a movie good or bad. For this movie it met all my criteria. My opinion take it with a grain of salt.

I want to say more but I will wait for the spoiler post.

just saw RM - not what I expected as I only went to see it cuz of Rob but as I was leaving the theater I was wishing to see more of the story and not just to see more of Rob.....it dealt with real emotions and family problems and coping and I wish there was more to "grasp"...anyway, I will be seeing it again tomorrow and Sunday..thanks Rob for helping me cope ! Hope you smile more in Bel Ami.......

Lynn - I totally agree - I wish there was more of the story to see - sex scenes were done very well...I was a bit worried as don't want my man to show the world what he can really do in bed...right, I wish ! Hats off to you Rob, can't wait for Bel Ami!

Rob can be responsible only for his performance for the good of the whole. I saw RM this afternoon and thought everything about his acting skills measured up. I could not take my eyes off him. His voice, the delivery of lines, his presence in the scene...all were spot on. I'll save my other comments which will substantiate my opinions for the spoiler thread.

What an outstanding performance!

I have just seen a matinee of Remember Me. My review is as good as the others.
There is one thing I can say about Robert Pattinson on screen---you can't take your eyes off him. He is that good on screen, he commands the screen. All these photos surfacing before the movie release does not do justice on the moving, talking, breathing on screen Robert Pattinson. And yes, he is a good actor. The movie was very well made. And Emile Ravin surprised me . . . she also commands the screen. Everything about the movie was excellently shot-kudos to the director. The bomb ending a lot criticize about is NOTHING to be critized at all. You guys will see that.
Now that I have seen it, I can why there are negative reviews:
(1) I believe a lot of the negative critics didn't actually see the movie--they just reviewed the previews and trailers and stolen video snippets. After I have the seen the movie, I keep going back to reviews and I thought, what are those guys talking about.
One thing is sure---Robert Pattinson on screen is enigmatic--the guy is just fantastic on screen. He eats you alive on screen. Yes, I do have criticisms. I think on those scenes shot on the street where there were a lot of observers, I believe it affected Robert Pattinson's acting . . . you can there is a disconnect there, you can just tell. It was just a delight to see a Robert Pattinson film, where he is nearly in each frame. With this film, there is no looking back for Robert Pattinson because you will not be able to resist any of his movies from here on -- he is that good and mesmerizing actor. Well, I don't about Eclipse (not a fan of New Moon or its remaining sequel. Although, he was fitting as Edward in Twilight, I am glad he auditioned for that--I enjoyed him in that movie.

I haven´t seen the movie yet, cause here in Spain we´ll have to wait for March 31st, somehow I think this review is no more than insulting, without any kind of respect towards not only Rob who is a very nice bloke indeed, but also the efforts made by all the people who have been able this movie is shooted.

I hope this guy, never has to suffer such a devastating criticism of "its" job or whatever thing "it" carries out.

Please, sorry if my English is not quite good enough, but I´m trying to get it better every day.

Lot kisses.

When I read a review like this I wonder if the critic and I saw the same movie. Unbelievable. He says it was "constipated acting." To me there is no debate. Even if you don't like the movie's premise or the ending the acting was superb. It's like I can't wait to get my butt back in the theater again.
