I honestly don't believe he could get any more adorable. Granted, I say that and he will. Boy, how we love thee.
LOL. He's so freakin cute.
Kate, I thought very similarly as you had about your niece (but I thought of my own kids, not your niece) when I first heard Rob say he didn't want everyone doing stuff for himself, as his mother had done. (Not your niece, though) My son, more than my daughters, was like that as a toddler. He didn't talk much at first, but he would say--SELF! He wanted to do it(whatever it was!) himself! ANd when he was able to speak, at age 3, he made t more clear: Do it myself! Then-- I wanna do it myself!
However, at the age of 30, he still likes to come home to Eema when he has a cold or an injury. ;-)
On the other hand, we HAVE heard Rob say that he likes that he can just get someone else to do stuff for himself! He has also said that he wants to make the decsions on his career, on choices, etc. SO I guess he is finding/ has found a balance between wanting to do it all himself, and realizing he cannot or would rather not do certain chores, and so he can pass them on to others!
The way he said the word "girlfriend"... Sigh...
