I've never used these terms as I've always thought they were so 'junior high'. I always figured that's where all this silliness originated...with the tweens (although Meyer and the TWI Moms sure jumped on it). I think it's all rather embarassing, as is alot of this fandom. Well. It is. The difference between Trekkies and TWIhards? Uniforms. Trekkeis wear uniforms...and ears. LOL!
And I hate the name Robsten. HATE IT! I think it's insulting. Not only to Rob and Kristen, but to all of these famous couples who've been turned into essentially, one object with two heads. I think the first victims were Bennifer...Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. And of course the topper...Gyllenspoon. They have names people. Individual identities. No one cares. They think it's cute. It's not. Ask the couples if they like it. They don't. No one cares.
What do you suppose they would have called...
Clark Gable and Carole Lombard? Clarole? (isn't that a hair dye?)Gabard?
Or Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio? Marijo? Monggio?
Or Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall? Humpren? Bocall?
Or Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton? Lizard? Tayburt? Or one for their nicknames, Liz and Dick? Lick?
LMAO!
It's insane. Can you imagine those legendary couples being known by such ridiculous one name labels?
But that's how our famous couples are going to be remembered.
