And that's why he likes her. She calls him on his shit, telling him, he's pathetic. I would imagine the women who do fawn all over him, bore him to tears. Most likely makes him suspicious too as something tells me, he doesn't trust it. And that's 'cause he's got a brain in his head. A lot of guys in his position, accept the fawning, use the women and move on.

Can't prove it. Just a hunch.

yep nik, but imp that he is, he still wants to call HER on it and laugh at her experienceng what bothers him so !

PrettyBrownEyes said...

yeah I definitely think he likes it when she tells him off or calls him out on everything lol it's cute

Oh. And Cindeeloo and Kimmie...

I just wasn't able to transfer those Sam Bradley tickets into your names. I tried. Believe me, I tried. Talk about a clusterfuck. However...

There may still be a way in. Cindeeloo? I sent you an e-mail with my phone number. If you want to try to get in, there may be a way, but we gotta talk.

And Kimmie? If you want to contact me, you're gonna have to leave an e-mail here on the blog as Cindeeloo did and I'll e-mail you with my number and we can talk too. Or if you don't want to leave your e-mail here and if Cindeeloo's got an e-mail on her profile, contact her and after she and I talk (if she calls me), she can fill you in.

I'm so sorry guys. I swear to god, I tried.

solas said...

It's like his little competitive edge is peeking out-- he may like to be called on things on one level, but he wants to get back at anyone who makes him feel he isn't up to snuff.

Kimmie said...

Oh I'm fine leaving my email.

sakuranegl15@yahoo.com

how many tickets did cindeeloo want?

Delle1 said...

OMG,u guys are so lucky to be going to see Sam..........if he ever comes to NZ I'll be first in line for tickets......for those of you who are going,Enjoy!!!.....oh and you just might see a Vampire and his mate there if she's back in LA yet,Lol.......

@Nik,I love Rob's comments about Kristen and when he says her name it gives me the tingles.......

Kimmie said...

Nikola it's cool, thanks for trying . Some places can be a bit strict

nikola6 said...

Oh yeah. I think he gives her the business right back, which is why...she likes him too. Remember that built in bullshit detector she's got. LOL! First and foremost, they are friends. For 18 months that friendship was built while that attraction simmered and have you ever heard that old saying...

True love is friendship set on fire?

Who knows for sure if that is the case with them, although I've always thought they were two little peas in pod. Such a unique and original couple. And considering all of this began in a movie audition and continued on a film set, it's really quite remarkable that they didn't just pounce on each other right off the bat but rather, let it build. That just doesn't happen in Hollywood. Especially with the young uns.

They look. They sniff. They pounce. And they pass each other around like the last bottle of beer at a kegger. That's Hollywood.

I guess these two didn't get the memo. LOL!

nikola6 said...

Kimmie...

I've got six and Cindeeloo wanted three and you wanted three. I'm gonna go send you an e-mail in just a minute with my phone number. Please give me a call. I think there might be a way in for you.

Give me 10 minutes, then go check your e-mail, okay hon?

PrettyBrownEyes said...

lol exactly letting a relationship grow and build is the key to making it last
and it makes it that much more special.
I would rather have something that lasts a lifetime rather than have it last for a moment.

Nik, are you and the NBs having a good time in LA? Wish I could be there but I live on the east coast.

Sure take your time if you need to nikola

Due to this quote, I don't think Rob and Kristen are that close at all.

But is this quote officially true, "who knows"....

It sounds like a Robism to me.

So excited to get Remember Me today and Eclipse seen soon... I'm on edge. Need my Rob fix.

@jmm4832...

Actually I'm not hanging out with the girls at the Nokia. I just don't do well in big crowds. I mean, I've been in big crowds and I'm sure I will be again, but they do frighten me. However...

Da plan is that I'll meet up with them Friday morning for breakfast before they head back home. All except RPG, Dessert First and possibly Cindeeloo and hopefully we'll pick up Loisada along the way. And I'm gonna break my fast and firm rule and take the girls up to the set (which is where we hope to pick up Loisada as she lives up in that neck of the woods). I won't go to the set. Probably just hang back by the car and chain smoke and have a heart attack unless they can get me really drunk first and then god only knows what I'll do. Oh dear. But I realized that this might be their only chance to see an actual set that he's working on and I couldn't be selfish and deny them the chance to at least breath the same air as The Pretty just because I'm paranoid about going to film sets. And then we'll head back into town to Rob's In N Out for dinner which is on Sunset right down the street from...

The Chateau Marmont where we will have a drunky slumber party, watching Twilight and New Moon (getting ourselves geared up for Eclipse) and if we survive that, then brunch on the patio the next day and then...everyone will head home.

And I'll bring my comp or I dunno, RPG can tweet and we'll let you all know if we end up drunk in the Chateau swimming pool. We may end up in handcuffs yet. LOL!

So that's what we'll be doing Friday and Saturday. Oh. And if we have time we might scoot on over to Wasteland (just a few blocks down on Melrose) to do some shopping. I've shopped there before and they've got some really cool junk.

Anyway. So yeah. That will be my participation in ROBstock II. And I'm hoping that ROBstock III will turn out to be Comic Con 2011. Now THAT'S a venue where you can spend some time in his presence. I think if we can get ourselves organized, we could make it a ROB convention.

What say you all? Comic Con 2011? It'll be Twilight's farewell to the Con and it's chaos, but it's organized chaos 'cause they've been doing it for 40 years and they know how to throw a fan event.

Nancy?

Curious. Why would you think a quote like that would mean that they aren't close? Especially in light of all the evidence of the past couple of years that if nothing else, they are very good friends.

I mean, don't couples (especially those who live together as it is suspected that these two are whether it's in hotel suites or studio provided housing) give each other shit all day long? Especially these two personality types? I mean, if they are a couple, they're not a fairy tale one, but a real one; flesh and blood, ups and downs, good days, bad days. Yanno? Like in real life?

Just curious.

Roblove said...

Kristen wants trouble. You do not call Robert pathetic, girl! He will be avenged ;)

I love each one of your comments Nik! Especially "true love is friendship set on fire!"... So true, for me anyway. The love of my life was my best friend, still is my best friend though we are no longer married... Anyway!
Doesn't Kris already wear contacts to play the part of Bella?
I'm looking forward to see her as a vampire. Should be stunning!
I love the way they are together, so true, so real ! So "we don't give a f..k about what the rest of the world thinks!".. Just love them both, whatever they are for each other :o)))

Nancy said...

Hi Nik,
Well, its more like,
"I've been complaining about the contact lenses and Make-up" and she's like "so pathetic, why can't you get used to it?" so I can finally be like "Now you'll know what its like, you're going to be in constant aggravation, which is great"

Sorry, but to be publically verbal about this, it doesn't sound like a couples remark. They would have said this to each other personally. But it's just my idea of a couple.

Love and hugs to all, especially Nik. (really NOT trying to get a war on here) Just my Point of View.

nikola6 said...

No, that's okay Nancy. You made a perfectly valid point there as this might very well be something they'd say to one another in private and not make it public. No war. I was just curious why you thought that.

And yeah sissi...
You made another one. She does indeed wear contacts. Her eyes are what, blue/green and Bella's are brown. So yeah, this comment doesn't make sense because she already has to wear them.

Probably another made up one. I sometimes forget my own rule. Take EVERYTHING you read in print about them with a grain of salt.

nikola6 said...

Oh. And thank you sissi. That was very sweet.

nikola6 said...

Although I will stick with my point that I think he does like it when she calls him on his shit. He's even said so which is why I hold to this opinion. And I do think he's not impressed with women who fawn over him because he thinks it's Edward they want. Not him. He's said this too.

Nancy said...

Hey Nik, absolutely right. I totally agree with that.

I still love Rob with a passion. I am totally Robsessed, just like everyone else here.

Nancy said...

Just wondering if I can get Remember Me at Walmarts now. They are open 24/7. Guess I can so I might be heading out soon.

Still drinking "Lambrusco" maybe I can't drive yet?

Kelly Louise said...

Lol. Little sadist. Love it.

I agree with everyone's thoughts on their relationship. They really are unlike anyone else.

Roblove said...

'I think he does like it when she calls him on his shit.' I think he doesn't, the man has an ego He is competitive though. And he knows she likes him, therefore any banter is irrelevant. 'And I do think he's not impressed with women who fawn over him' I think he likes being liked, he is more of a hunter in disguise though, most interested in things that are hard to predict for whatever reason.

Nancy said...

Great insite Emma. Thought the same myself.

Anonymous said...

@emma you sure are one weird one! Delving into intent and inner thought, you speak as though you're in Rob's head and you speak with certainty as if he HIMSELF told you this about him!! You never fail to amaze, let me just say that!

Roblove said...

DeDe - I'm not the only one who does that :)

HeneciaD said...

rob is being rob and I love that

lemonie said...

Hi guys what does "call on" it mean? A term I don't think we use this side of the Atlantic!

Has anyone read the Elle UK July edition interview with Kristen - its a good one and at the end the journo gets to see a picture of Kristen with her Cat Jello and Rob hugging her (doesn't actually say its him by name but its pretty obvious if you put it in context with the rest of the interview, who it is) Whatever you want to believe about their friendship/relationship I hope they are both really happy

jmm4832 said...

Certainly Rob and Kristen feel comfortable enough with each other to banter back and forth. A lot of couples do this. Oh boy, I said couple. Well, I do believe they're a couple but hey, it's okay if some of you don't.

Robs Bitch said...

I feel bad for him if the contacts are that painful. Can't they just CGI the colors in for f*ck's sake?? Geez..

lallieb said...

If Rob actually said that, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense because of the CONTACTS! Kristen already wears them. He obviously has more trouble adjusting to his, but the only difference for her when she gets turned is they'll slap some more make-up on her.
I believe that Rob and Kristen have a public persona and a private one (duh!), but in their case they keep it very separate. How they refer to and speak to each other in public is measured and guarded for the MOST part, although both of them have slipped a bit now and then, mostly Rob. Therefore, anything they say about one another or to one another in the public eye, is no reflection or true indication of their private interactions. IMHO.
However, I'd bet money that they do call each other out (give each other shit) on a regular basis, but with humor! One thing that is is apparent, even in public, they laugh a lot and enjoy each other's humor.

People with sensory integration issues cannot take stuff like new clothes, contact lessons, etc.

I don't think this conversation ever took place. I think we are now at a point in time where we are going to see lots of "interviews" that either never took place or were completely twisted by the supposed "journalist" for their own agenda (the NYT interview by Robert Barnes). I think in the case of that NYT piece, perhaps he spoke with Rob for a couple of minutes and maybe not even in person and just wrote whatever he wanted. There are just too many statements in there that just do not add up in addition to being totally inaccurate and the article was pretty snarky (jealous much?) How can Rob and Kristen refute these statements that are being attributed to them - it's tabloid b.s.

AP said...

People obviously don’t like the NYTimes piece but it it was in person, they gave Rob the start on page one of the Arts section and a full page with 5 photos further in, which is big, and it signals Rob is being considered at another level, even if grudgingly, in a ‘respectable publication.’ His words. I think the last time they did a piece on him it was in the Fashion and Style section and a quickie. Not saying I like the tone of the article but am saying I would rather read about him in the Times than OK or The Daily Mirror. At least they talk about his films, even if inaccurately, and his potential as an actor. Know I am in the singular minority on this, but I hope those to whom it might mean something pop it in the scrapbook as another step on the way.

lallieb said...

@AP, I'm not convinced about the interview, but appreciate your POV and agree with it, better NYT than the "others" with absolutely no credibility whatsoever.

solas said...

I disagree. There is more weight to NYT than to the others which are assumed to be inaccurate. Many people consider NYT the gold standard and would not notice the mistakes that we all so, so we know if these mistakes are present, others may be as well, whereas other readers will take it udner assumption of what NYT used to represent.
So although it might seem great that he is taken seriously enough to be in the NYT, I really wonder if it sn't worse in the long run beasue the inaccuraces will be assumed to be facts.

AP said...

@Solas: The quotes from Gabler and Coulter are great, and were not likely to be found in OK or any other tabloid. And there appear to be many who take the tab inaccuracies as factual, whatever is printed in the Times. To each his/her own...

myinnergoddess said...

Thank you AP for explaining that Rob was actually interviewed for the NYT piece, it helps to know that, but I still have to wonder what the circumstances were and how long the interview was. Still think it was done grudgingly and still don't like all the inaccuracies. I believe that Rob will be interviewed for more NYT pieces cuz, as much as I am looking forward to Eclipse, I am equally excited about Water For Elephants - if he's half as good as what they're saying, he will have to be given the respect he deserves.
