Hmmm...this is probably gonna get some shit tossed my way, but oh well.
I've always thought it pretty silly
the speculation that comes from "still" photos. They really can't tell us much as they only capture a second of what is actually going on. And especially when were looking at something that's being ACTED out; he's awkward in the way he's touching her, they've got no chemisty, etc. Really? You guys can discerne all that from a still photo? Amazing.
I remember there was a still photo of Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz in a bathtub scene from The Fountain and the consensus was...no chemistry, look at her, she's not even into him. Then the film came out and that scene was considered to be one of the hottest, most tender and heartbreaking love scenes captured on film in ages. And yes, in that scene Ms. Weisz was most definitely into Mr. Jackman. And he into her (literally LOL).
We have no idea what Rob and Emilie are being asked to "act out" in this scene. How far into their relationship are they? Is one personality more outgoing and the other more reticent? And keep in mind, this is (as far as we know) their first 'intimate' scene together. Sometimes it takes actors a bit of time to 'warm up' to one another. Also, they have to perform these scenes in front of a crew of strangers. It can be VERY awkward for them. And some actors are very respectful of the actresses bodies that they are suppose to put their hands all over. Some actors are not and try to feel their leading ladies up as much as they can get away with. And Rob strikes me as a very respectful guy.
Personally, I think they look adorable together. I love the look of tall man with a tiny woman as it just makes him look more masculine and her more feminine. And they fit that description to a T. As for their legs...their both gorgeous. Her's are a knockout and his are beautiful too, so much so that he doesn't need a tan to enhance them. Frankly, it's that hair on those legs that have got me going. Yeah, I fall to pieces over guys with body hair. Not too much, but just enough. Like Rob. Although I suspect that chest is gonna grow more as he hits his mid-late twenties which is when most of it comes in.
Anyway...just enjoy the shots. Don't know why I'm surprised that were seeing them though. And don't think for a minute that Summit doesn't have a say about what gets leaked and what doesn't. They want to sell the image of him as a sex symbol. So any images of him half dressed or even nude and in any kind of clinch with his leading lady, are going to get leaked.
Wonder how they're going to explain the leaking of the bedroom scenes? Won't be able to blame those on the papps.
I like spoilers. I want to know what's coming. Want to be prepared. Quess it's the control freak in me. But my god, by the time this movie wraps, were gonna have the whole thing in still photos. Sheesh.
Okay. I've wagged my finger again. Let the shit throwing commence. I've earned it. But please don't think I don't love this place and all of you adorable ladies who inhabit it. Because I do. I'm just a purist, a stickler for shit and an opinionated know-it-all.
