What a LOAD of Crap: Famous, People, OK!

First Famous Magazine which is published by soulless aliens:

Does the picture look familiar? Oh yes it does. Thanks to Phosphorus for providing the link to it :))

Then People Magazine: I used to think People was the most respectable of them all... I guess they also realized crap sells (right Ted C.?)

And OK! with its usual crap:

Yeah, I don't need to spend my hard earned money on CRAP. I was also surprised at People. Jumping on the load of crap bandwagon. boooo!

Gods I am so sick of seeing this crap in the mags. Leave him alone for crying out loud. Go pick on some other celeb for a change. Rob can't even be friendly with someone of the female gender without being gossiped about. I think they even tried to say he was dating his sister when she visited him in NYC. Its too bad they can write whatever they feel like without checking their facts. Boooo is right!

Totally surprised by People cover story and I've been a long time subscriber. When have they ever needed to compete with the trash trade. I'm so disappointed in People. Might fire off an e-mail.

Shame on you People Magazine! I'm sad to see they've jioned the "Load of Crap" pile.

RPnKSaddict said...

That picture is pretty hot and smoldering though...lol got a bit sidetracked staring and drooling.

So Famous got an "eagle-eyed snapper" who "caught the duo sneaking into the hotel's back entrance" - and all they come up with is a pic that was photoshopped?

Can't find the link at the moment where it was proven that they used an old photo from KStew, who actually hugged Catherine Hartwicke. If my memory is correct then they even "mirrored" it - which is not to be done.

Ok ~I never buy these mags~I just go to Barnes and Noble and read them (with a grain of salt~yeah always a load of crap). So I bought People because basically they are(were)pretty credible and HHH was on the cover. I purposely didn't look in it till I got home. Had I there was no way I would have bought it. Plus this issue was thin as hell. People should be ashamed of themselves

phosphorus said...

This copy was thin? That means they don't have enough ads - always a bad sign.

The best thing I'll say about People: at least they picked a HOT picture of Rob.

phosphorus said...

And it may explain why they put that story on the cover.

I agree-BOO to people mag for joining the crapazines...apparently they have nothing better to report about..

What really pisses me off..is that they included a photo of that SCANK that neck strangled him-so now she'll be famous too...

I do so love how he brought that up and comic con by saying he has to walk around now with his head down, and when Kristen asked why..
he said because there's something wrong with his neck...

Which proves, through it all, his sense of humor is in tack, and he's not letting this get to him.

More reasons to love...

phosphorus said...

Ah, there it is, the picture showing KStew hugging Catherine Hardwicke. Looks familiar, doesn't it?

It wasn't mirrored, though. Still, it's fraud.

rpattzgirl survived Rob! said...

@phos,

You're so right! Same photo-wow they are truly scandalous..

phosphorus said...

What about US press law, isn't that litigable?

Perhaps Gözde'll include a caption underneath those infamous Famous scans, stating that this pic is nothing but fake and link the original photo. Just to make sure no-one misses out on it.

By the way, I was not the first to uncover it, I read it somewhere else, only can't remember where it was, sorry.

phosphorus said...

Haha, while I was writing this, Gözde already made it happen.

Thanks, dear.

Gozde said...

No babe, thank YOU :))

phosphorus said...

And what a stupid manip that was. Rob would have to bend his knees so KStew could hug him like this. He's too tall for her to reach him like that.

phosphorus said...

My memory did not play tricks on me. This manipulated pic was indeed "mirrored" on the cover of the infamous Famous Magazine. I knew I had seen it the other way round.

xoRobxo said...

@ phosphorus~yes it was really thin. First thing I noticed~well after the gorg cover

PEOPLE magazine...shame on you, CHEAP TRIPE!

This is the grossest bunch of exaggeration I've even seen from them. Poor Rob...I don't know how he stands it.

As a journalist, I'm so sad to see the loss of playing by the rules. When I joined the Society of Professional Journalists (in the US) while a college senior, we actually had to swear an oath to stick to the facts and tell the truth no matter what.

RIP People magazine. :(((((

phosphorus said...

@ xoRobxo: They must be pretty desperate then. I wonder how much more copies of that issue were sold than the one before, when Rob was not on the cover.

@ Chicago Girl: It's a disgrace. Haven't they got any backbones?

(Nice to see you, by the way.)

We need to start banning all these rags and not give any more money to these hacks.

Everybody repeat after me.....

CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP!

margot said...

oh, yeah ... crap, crappy crap and nothing but crap .... sooo boooring

the media are peeing their pants IMO because they cannot find any material on Rob - there is no scandal, no bad behaviour, no romance ... nothing at all ! so, they create crap
It's a bit funny even to watch how they try to write about Rob the same stories as of any other young and hot celebrity not being able to believe that he is different
this guy could be gold mine to media and he is rather a deep disappointment, no scandals ... nothing to sniff ... nada ...null. zero. trufax.

It seems that People Magazine doesn't respect their readers by repeating the same story while everyone knows it it crap!!!

The photoshopped photo and the original photo of Kristen and Catherine is enough to prove what they wrote is crap and shows their in-respected way to promote their magazine.

I think this blog post shows that these ridiculous rumors are nothing but a load of crap lol. So thanks for posting this, this is a perfect way to show how stupid this stuff is! Not a single truth to any of it. No pic proof so they resort to lame manipulation to fabricate "proof" absolutely ridiculous!

Goz, I couldn't agree more with your thoughts on PEOPLE! I was so annoyed when I saw the COVER story -- I mean, really, as a journalist, this pisses me off to no end. People, who I thought were above the rag mags, made a COVER story out of an internet rumor!! An OLD rumor. I fired off a letter to the editor on that one, something I've never done before. It's a shame that Walter Cronkite didn't get the cover he deserved ... Course, I loved that they at least used one of the Sex Drive photos for the cover -- title should've said SEXIEST MAN ALIVE!!

Display Name said...

Seriously I almost gagged reading that! what a load of bo****ks! That is 'crack your ribs laughing' funny!

Idiots. Seriously who believes this??!?!

kchambers77 said...

well at least they gave up on the gay rumors.

So sad to see our man (yes i can share)disrespected this way. He is a brillant actor and a great guy..i havent read the magazine, but I bet it doesn't mention any of his accomplishment thus far. If any of you can see little ashes, your prespective of him would change completely, for him to play salvador dali was awesome, it proves he will put all his effort into playing the part. Im very happy for him..i hope he's careful..keeps his feet on the ground and has someone he can trust..alot of actors don't. xoxoxox to you rob..

anonymous said...

What a load of BS. In that Famous magazine, Rob's head looks like it's floating and it's kind of obvious that it is photoshopped. I feel sorry for Rob. I don't believe that Rob and Kristen are going out. Never will. I believe they will only be friends. It kind of ruins the friendship and makes things awkward if they went out. That's just my opinion.

anna F said...

Weirdly enough, pissing off Rob's fans is not going to help them gain readership...
They might not have realised it yet, but I think that while casual gossip readers might still belive them (but when they start the same crap about someone they know better or really like, it will change), others will start boycotting them~

kimberlesk-Right on!! I didn't buy the People mag, my DH spotted it and brought it home thinking I'd like the photos. But we were both shocked and dismayed that Walter was NOT on the cover this week! He got a little box, yes, but we're talking about a major Icon's passing here. The man we trusted to bring us the facts and only the facts, no yellow journalism, the man we invited into our homes nightly for years.

Don't get me wrong, I love Rob and love seeing his photos, but this has nothing to do with Rob, it has a heck of a lot to do with who's running People Magazine and the lack of respect they have for someone who was a honest jounalist, my God, one of their own. To make matters worse, they do it in such a cheesy way, just a flimsy excuse to boost their circulation trying to attract the lowest common denominators, the gossip mongers and using Rob for bait. Sickening!!

Krystle said...

I don't think the People article was very scandalous...it just repeated things we've already read before. I think the cover/headline was just VERY eyecatching. I love how there was no byline to who wrote the story.....no one wanted to take the credit and get bombarded with calls from Rob's publicist.

Chicago girl now in LA said...

Krystle~

Good catch...no byline, huh? That's huge.

Walter should've been on the cover.

Krystle said...

I agree that Walter should have been the main cover....that was a bad move on their part.

Re: Byline...I take that back...at the end of the article it says Reporting by: blahblahblah.

But still - there was definitely no one jumping at having a byline at the beginning of the article. idiots. Sold themselves to the devil. haha
