I soo love this place too! I'm lucky to have a "RL" friend who adores Rob too; in fact she's to blame for where I am today! But she doesn't want to do the "fandom" thing, which is fine. It took me awhile to find Robsessed though, because I always talked to her on the phone and it just took us awhile to start looking for Rob stuff on the 'net. Started with Twilight stuff...ended up in full-blown Robsession. I think we have similar stories, most of us!

Heh heh...The first book is just a start. We are creating a formula that we can use in subsequent books. We are both accomplished writers; we just need to do this!!
When I started out, I was a basket case. It was srsly like an addiction. My sister made fun of me and made me feel like an idiot. Then she read the books.....muahahaha. She got sucked in and watched the movie. Yup, game over. We are going to see LA together next Friday. We have such a better relationship now because of all of this :)

I was with my SIL and the first pic we saw (I don't even remember which one it was now) I thought "This guy only looks good as Edward...he looks like he's homeless and has been out on a 3 day bender!!" But then...the Robnetic pull began...the interviews, the "moving, talking Rob" is what got me hooked. Now I see those pics of him looking like he's been on a bender and all i think is "OMG - I want to f*** that!!!"

Nope KK, I won't throw anything at you. When I first watched his interviews, I was struck at how much different he looks/acts in real life than he is as cool, suave Edward. My first thought was, "this guy is not my type."
But the thing for me is the total package...the balance. There are times when he looks out of this world hot and sexy...he photographs like a beast sometimes. You think he's this raging womanizer, totally on his game. And then he squees and laughs like a little girl and makes these uber-expressive silly putty faces, which somehow makes him human again, instead of that untouchable gorgeous creature in the photos. I like the dichotomy...that's what gets me. The geek in him gets me as much as the sex god. I can't have one without the other.
