You are entitled to your opinion, and no worries. He does seem a bit different, but I don't think he's changed overnight. He just doesn't strike me as that type of guy. I really think he's nervous and uncomfortable, especially given the events of the last week, and this is how he's coming across, and may well be why he skipped the red carpet.
He was his typical down to earth self in Cannes, so yeah, I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt until he starts being a dick in interviews or something, lol.

I'm watching the awards with a guy who doesn't know anything about K and R (I haven't bored him with the details). He's seen Twilight and said, "These guys are great actors because there is absolutely no chemistry between them in real life."

You, know by the time Rob was atthe oscar presenting I wasn´t his fan, and I use to discuss with my coworker why she thought Rob was so handsome or whatever, I saw him at the Oscar, and I thought.. "he is so cocky" .. what a diva... then I saw twilight, I looked for info about him and I realiezed that what I thought was an attitude, actually he is very shy and people like that tends to do things like this trying to cover emberrosment.

They have nothing to prove to anyone whether or not they are involved. They do not make these kinds of decisions based on what the fans may or may not think. This whole speculation deal doesn't mean anything to them. It means a lot to many people, but I have no doubt that beyond annoyance, they don't care about it. New Moon is going to be waaaaaaaaay better than Twilight with Chris Weitz at the helm!! When Edward says "This will be the last time you'll see me" (or whatever he actually says) I just about broke apart.

OK, I'll try this again. I think this is going to be 100% better then Twilight. Rob looks like he has really channeled the emotion, and the scene in the woods looks good, even tho I'm thinking they may have changed some of the dialogue.
And I'm pretty sure that the scene with Jacob jumping and morphing is actually not the scene with Laurent, unless Jake's house is in the meadow - I think that's just how it's edited.
Kristin looks less wooden, but I still haven't seen enough to be totally convinced on her performance.
The color is so beautiful - looks like a real movie!
I love the fact, that they captured the book and that the phasing to wolf does look like an explosion of fur, like the book describes. As far as Taylor's height. I don't think they are going to find a 6ft 7 hotty to take his place. He worked hard to keep the role and I think he deserves it. Not picking on anyone just my own opinion. I'm team Edward, (daughter is Team Jasper) LOL.

In regards to their intro of the film: I always cringe when Kris is going to get on stage or speak because she always acts so weird and that's when people start calling her a bitch and/or saying she's on drugs, but it just seems to me that she's just really uncomfortable with that sort of thing...interviews, stage stuff. She just wants to be an actor, not a celebrity.
As for Taylor: I think he'll do fine in Eclipse. They're not going to find anyone 7 ft tall so I don't think they are going to worry about the height that he was in the book.

I'm sure they cranked the CGI on that part just to get the trailer out. The film hasn't even really gone into post production yet. There may be a lot of "adjustment" to the cgi wolves once they have the time to work on it. I think that is why we only got more of the beginning of the movie and none of the middle or end clips.

I'll say, i'm going to amend my prior opinion on Rob tonight. After seeing that genuine smile, I think that deep-down he's the same. But I do think he's starting to develop a thicker skin and may not be as forthcoming as he once was. Unfortunately, I think it just has to be that way given the exposure that he has right now and the utter chaos that's surrounding him.

CullenGal-- Kristen's been acting for a long time, but she's never been in the spotlight to this extent and had the whole fan pandimonium, awards, constant interviews, etc to contend with. That part is new to her and that's why she's awkward. She's said as much in past interviews.
