How To Be: Available on Cable on April 29!!!

I felt like a squeee was building in my chest when I saw this...then I remembered I no longer live in the US...*sigh*

But YAY! for all of of you that do :))

From MTV.com:

Robert Pattinson in "How to Be"

In the months since RPattz's career explosion, this tiny independent film has become a phenomenon. Filmed in early 2007, the flick stars Rob as a young musician seeking wisdom from a self-help guru — and "Twilight" fans have been traveling hundreds of miles for its current cinema tour. "Cinequest we just did; it went really well," producer Justin Kelly said of a recent date at a San Jose film festival. "It's insane; people fly across three states to see it. It's fantastic."

Where to See It: The Independent Film Channel's Festival Direct service will make the film available April 29 on cable providers Bright House, Cablevision, Charter, Comcast, Cox, Insight and Time Warner. "We're supporting IFC's release with the cinema tour," Kelly explained.

I have IFC, but is DirecTV supported in this marketing endeavor? I really hope so!

I felt the squee too, but then I saw that I don't subscribe to any of those cable companies. :(

Awesome news! I'm a little confused. If I have Comcast and the IFC channel, will I get it for free or do I have to purchase it through the cable service? I'm not very tech saavy.

I am glad that its coming to TV! I saw it in San Jose, and it was really good. Way different than his other roles.

To all who have DirecTV... bad news. I contacted IFC and currently DirecTV has no plans to air "How To Be" on IFC...

Off to find someone with one of the cable services listed so I can beg them to record it for me!!

How did I miss this????

I thought IFC was just releasing to cinemas. Since I saw it at the DCIFF last week, I thought I was going to have to wait a long time to get this in my house. Thank god for DVR. And for once in my life, I'm glad to have Comcast. Otherwise, that cable company is frickin' worthless.

Fangirl SQUEEE! LOL.

I really am regressing in life. But I don't care.
