Rob has his sexy eyes on in that pic. And the one with Edward and Bell . . . I'd gladly change places with her!!

I really hope that he's able to do Bel Ami. I'm so looking forward to all those sex scenes with him plus for him to play a cad so opposite from all his movies so far!

But what will happen to his psyche when he is done filming all these movies?

Dear Rob,

Hey man.. love your work.

I'm writing to invite you to my home. (An island I purchashed after making a few films). My private yacht will pick you up and bring you.

Also, my island realtor will be on hand should you decide to become neighbors.

All Best Wishes,

Johnny Depp

I sooo can't wait for New Moon. Poor guy, he has to work constantly to have privacy. He sounds like he is handling it well. Hang in there Robbie! YOu can come to my house for some R&R.

thirtysomething said...

if work makes him happy and keeps his life private, then i'm happy he's working so much.

i cannot wait for him to finish with the twi series and move into new roles.

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

unfortunately for my rob,his life will never go back to being normal, not when you are the hottest guy on the planet and if you think its crazy now,its going to get worse with the release of new moon.so rob my solution is this....iam going to barbados on vacation in a few days, maybe you can get a couple of days from eclipse and come with me PLEASEEE there are no paps and crazy fan girls and we can frolic on beach and lay on the beach naked...... well you get where iam going with this so think about it.

Loisada said...

Nice interview, must have been done around New Moon filming? The translation is great overall, gives a good idea of what he really said.

But don't worry ladies, when he says "I'm a prude" that is a mistranslation! It should read something along the lines: "I'm a rather shy/reserved person at heart." Would love to know exactly what he said there in English, but rest assured our sex god did NOT call himself "prudish"!

Haystackhair said...

And that Edward and Bella pic~~SWOOON~~ Looks like yet another kiss maybe? I hope?

Anonymous said...

Definitely not a prude. I bet he likes it dirrty!! *slurp*

tnan said...

Loisada, thanks for clearing that up. I was wondering what he was saying there. Got excited about Bel Ami filming in Jan, then realized the interview was a few months back so most likely schedules may not be as accurate anymore. Waiting for outtakes now ;-)

I need this magazine!! Need, need, NEED. How gorge does he look? I assume we can buy it online...? I thought we could last time I was on the Premiere website, but do any of you know for sure?

I too can't wait for the filming of Bel Ami! I'm glad that filming provides him with some privacy. It must be terrible not being able to go to the corner store for fear of being stalked by Papz.

I also don't think he'll ever have a normal life. Let's face it, Johnny Depp doesn't have normalcy. I read somewhere that his biggest wish is to go to Disneyland with his kids, but he could never for fear of being "discovered" and ruining everyone's fun.

Oh the life of a celeb. :(

Great interview!
So Bel Ami in Jan?? That's awesome..have we figured out a name for him yet? Robel? Robami?

There are several kisses in NM, way more than Twilight, and I can not wait to see how Chris handled the proposal!

This is a really good interview. It makes you feel for Rob and really get a sense of what his life is like every day.

I especially liked the part where the interviewer says, "Do you ever tell yourself, 'I never signed up for all this'" And Rob says, "all the time." This struck me because people always seem to say things like he needs to suck it up and deal with it because this is what comes along with being a huge star. While it's true that it comes with the territory, I think it's a little unfair to say that about Rob. He had NO idea what playing Edward would do to his life. In my opinion, he never wanted this level of celebrity and he didn't seek it out. He never signed up to be a huge star. It came out of nowhere and he was just thrust into it and is now forced to endure it.

I don't think he's sorry he took the role of Edward, it has definitely given him the exposure he deserves but I also think that if he had known what was coming, he would have thought twice about doing it. Again, just my opinion. I'm not sorry he did Twilight. I'm very grateful because it introduced me to such a talented and fascinating man. Just wish things would cool down a bit for him. I guess he just needs to ride it out. It can't last forever, right?

"What worries me most is that I don't know when my patience will run out, when I'll finally do something really stupid. Wait and see..."

He must have the patience of Job because mine would have run out a long, long time ago. I would have run over several paparazzi by now and flipped off more than I could count.

Sorry for the novel, just some thoughts I had. Oh, and he looks absolutely gorgeous as always.

@Emily ~ Well said!! I agree totally.
He's a Taurus, us Taurus' can take a lot, but when we've had enough, watch out!

Tenneil said...

Rob Rob Rob... Just cant seem get enough of you... You are beyond your years... you just make me smile... Tell them like it is..PRIVATE... *claps*

Emily said...

Thanks Linda! Tenneil, you're right. He is way beyond his years and always makes us smile.

He handles himself wonderfully especially being fairly new to this.

Can't wait for those new movies!

RPnKSaddict said...

Cool interview, very honest, and human especially admitting that there may be a time when he'll loose his patience.

This is part of why I love him. His humility..his beauty, inside and out.

I have the same hopes for Rob as Chris Weitz.

Thank you for the translations, FP.

I felt a bit sorry, when he said that he can´t meet friends where they ask him to meet them, because that would cause chaos.

That has to be strange indeed, when you don´t wanna be the center of the world, but the surrounding conditions practically force you into that position.

Anonymous said...

It is sad some of the quotes that he says. He is handling all this fame very well considering all the hysteria that surrounds him.

Anonymous said...

@ Emily
You have hit the nail on the head Emily - so true. I think the fact that he hasn't blown his top so far with the paps/Fans is because he's such a gentleman/a decent man but as he says how much longer until he flips especially when you hear the insulting, boorish, insolent remarks the Paps make- obviously in an attempt to try and get a reaction from him. So kudos to Rob for not indulging them.
This interview is the sort of thing I want to hear more of...not silly little snippetts of info here and there but something of interest and relevant to what is going on in his life now...

Anonymous said...

Great pics, but in the article he sounds so detached from the chaos that has now become twilight. He's kinda tuning it all out it seems, which is good and bad all at once.

Maybe a nice trip to visit his parents will warm him up a bit, he seems rather cold.

I WANT HIM.

WHAT IS BEHIND THE MEDIA HYSTERIA AND IS MAKING ROB'S LIFE A LIVING HELL ????you guys know it but dont want to or are afraid to say it.......but i will, its this robsten bullshit that is driving this, thank god kristen FINALLY spoke out and said they share a closeness but they are not dating, rob needs to get away from all this robsten bullshit or it will over shadow his talent and career by a rumor that is NOT TRUE.hopefully with her statement it puts it to rest.

Emily said...

lizzibee - So true! It would take a lot of restraint to not say anything back to those people. It probably helps that he knows if he did do/say something, all that would do is create more attention and have the opposite effect. And like he said, it wouldn't change a thing anyway. So yeah, good for him for not giving them what they want.
He knows how to play the game.

Lina said...

@rpattz-turns-me-on
could you drop a link where Kristen spoke out about this Robsten thing?

Loisada said...

Lina, RTMO may well be referring to article republished here:

http://community.livejournal.com/rpattzdaily/

But it's another OLD interview hauled out now to fan the flames. Wish the rags and blogs would step back from this and stop stirring things up republishing every quote ever made about their private lives. Why can't we all just let it lie?

TheQuietOne said...

@rpattz-turns-me-on

Kristen's "speaking out about their closeness" is at least 5 months old, or older. You can find the exact quote that was circulated this weekend as new in interviews dated March.

The gossip sites are recycling old interviews again.

@Loisada ~ because unfortunately it sells mags and gets lots of hits on the internet. I for one, agree, I'm so done with the whole "Robsten" thing. Leave it alone, let it go. They're both shagging someone and it ain't me so who cares!!

Mechevpao said...

Wow, great interview; the translation is pretty good, too bad sometimes the meaning of his words are kind of lost in there, but it still shows that he is very aware of what is going on in his career and he is very down to earth with it.

@LindaRose

Your so right about us Tauruses. We can suck up a lot but oh boy its Armageddon when we lose it. My mom is one as well you should see it when we clash. Nasty. XD

But we are also hard working and stubborn so I guess he should be fine :)

I wonder if Rob would be willing to come to Transylvania with me. I leave in a week so all he has to do is giving me a call *lol* I bet nobody there cares about him XD

Pandora said...

I love the caption on the Robward picture where he looks so sad.

"Rooooob!!" *hahahaha*

solas said...

I think they wouldn't leave him alone whether a relationship with Kristen is there or not. They hunt him down because, like hunters on safari, or perhaps more like the 'wild bill'- type buffallo shooters a century ago, they get a good price for the goods--except instead of hide and ivory and furs, they get photos. If people didn't pay for the photos, if people didn't clamour to see photos of Rob constantly, and if people did not buy the magazines that pay those that hunt him down, then Rob would not be so bothered--at least by the snaparazis.
If you care, you don't buy the goods the hunters bring in.

rpattz-turn-me-on said...

ok ladies i did my research and its old YOU ARE RIGHT but you have to agree it over shodow his career because instead of focusing on his work they talk about this stuff,if this stuff go away it would be better for him and his career

Marenostrum said...

The most brilliant idea of the interview was to eliminate the screaming girls by asking them out for breakfast one by one... I sometimes wonder if Rob really gets what those girls want or think. He is either too naive or too ignorant.. That might be true for the girls between 12-16 but I don't think any female over 16 would feel bad about it and stop calling his name when he asks her out.

Lina said...

Thank you, girls!

The red background photo is wonderful -- those bedroom eyes....thud.

Kat said...

Great pictures. He just gets better looking every time I see him. I hope he can survive all this attention and turn it to his advantage.

kespax said...

That breakfast comment is so cute, he has no idea how devastating he is, how he dazzles women.
When you watch some women interview him and you can literally see them melting, more an more until they look like their knees are giving way, and they end up almost swooning - and he's just oblivious.

I loved that they asked who does his hair - I have been intrigued to know this for ages.

JandR said...

Hi Kespax, Pandora, LindaRose et al,
Well at least we know our Rob is still being candid and speaking what he really feels. I was so hoping he wouldn't lose that because he is so refreshing among stuck up stars who seems so full of themselves and arrogant. So we need to get the next interviewer to ask about his loyalty to old clothing...and his habit of sharing... lol

Anonymous said...

Not a bad translation.

It's modest, not prude. I remember Catherine Hardwicke saying in an interview to "Rob is PG13. Watch him from the waist down."
It's so funny, because I studied Acting in college and one of my profs. said actors can't afford to be modest.

The other thing I can't get over is how eerily he looks like Marlon Brando in that first photo. Actually a cross between Brando and James Dean, but mostly Brando. Check out Brando from A Streetcar Named Desire - Creepy!

I like the fact that he does have someone (friends or gf) that can keep him grounded. Who know what it would be like if he totally freaked out. Poor thing. At least he's smart enough to accept it for what it is and what it would still be if he decided to quit acting.
