People compare celebs to one anohter because this draws viewers in. If people think that this dude looks like Robward, they're likelier to tune in. I hate how they dressed the vamp from Vampire Diaries like Robward, though. Couldn't he be a hot goth? Or a preppy vamp?
I think it's the whole high school vampire thing. But that's about it. This guy doesn't even compare to Rob. He's not ugly just not my type.
I think the guy who plays his brother (the evil vampire!) is a lot hotter looking, but I don't see any resemblance to Rob anywhere.

My favorite was when Bella, er whatever this one's name is, lifts up her pant leg to expose her injury and he turns away as his eyes darken. Or how they have biology, er I mean, history together. *eye roll*
Oh well, with a phenomenon like Twilight there are bound to be plenty of people trying to cash in on the vampire trend.

Yeah, this book series came out in the early 1990's )'91, I think. It's a lot different from Twilight IMO.

However the Vamp Diaries did come out BEFORE Twilight so the only resemblence I see between the two characters is that they are both drawn to a girl they cannot resist.

well 1st from the pics I think they kinda look alike in their vampire's looks but rob is way hotter than this guy...I have seen this guy on everwood a few years ago and I've never seen him atractive...besides rob's unique personality has made him in such a huge star not only the looks!!

Rob is smoking hot as Edward Cullen but outside of the character he looks a bit grimy and unwashed.
